Nagisa's pov

As Alice-kun and I went to go grab our textbooks, we heard laughter coming from inside the room as well as things getting knocked over

"It's rowdy inside..." Alice said as he made me go behind him with his arm stretched out, as he looked ready to protect me at any moment

As we heard the noise was getting louder, we heard a voice shouting "ROLLING!"

Then the doors opened as a rolling green ball crashed into a pile of boxes, creating a fog of smoke in the process

As a box was about to hit me, Alice just hit it to the side

As I felt a sweat drop on my face, I looked at where the person crashed and asked "A-Are you okay?"

Then suddenly a green haired demon girl popped out of the pile, laughing and smiling as what she did was fun

"Hi I'm Clara! Right foot is Connor and left is Murf! My familiar's Falfal! You see I came to get my textbooks! But, I got carried away and crashed into it! Ah, here's a sweet for you! Don't you want to crash into stuff when it's piled up like that?! You do, don't you! I'll do it again so watch me, watch me~!" She said as she started to sing a weird song as she started piling up the boxes making my sweat drop

We heard footsteps coming closer making the two of us look at the non incoming teacher

"Hey, don't go stacking it!" The teacher scolded going to the weird girl piling up the boxes

"Valac Clara, she's quite known for being a weirdo. She destroys stuff and is rather troublesome, so everyone tends to stay away from her." Alice whispered in my ear

Then the teacher noticed us and left us to be responsible with Clara, literally making us float in the air, tying us up then off to the yard we went with our textbooks behind us floating as well

-Courtyard-

As we went outside, Clara started rolling around the grass while Alice wanted to leave

She then looked at us asking us to play with her calling us Nagisa-chi and Azz-azz

I just smiled and went with it playing as a tree, wind and a dog

While Azz-kun was horrified as he shouted "NAGISA-SAMA?!"

I had to persuade him a bit to join in on the fun, he played as the young next door wife who was cheating with Clara's husband making me giggle as he played it amazingly

We played for a while, one game that we laid was being chased by a book

Azz and I ran as fast as we could but he got bit in the 2 hills and a hole in the middle while I kept running, stopping as I was in front of an area where there was a heavy locked door

-2 hours later-

As we both lay on the grass panting while I was giggling like a mad man

"That was fun!" I said as I caught my breath

"I'm glad you enjoyed it Nagisa-sama." Azz said panting as well

Clara then came over to us and said "No energy?" as she pats her pockets making it glow a bit then out came snacks, giving it to us

Making me look at her pockets in wonder

She then explains to me that its her bloodline magic and what it does

Then out of nowhere we heard a voice then out came a student followed by two others behind him asking Clara for snacks and she happily complied making me look at them with curious eyes

They then left us and Clara started to explain who they were, making me now understand that those were just posers and bullies

She then said that she was happy that we played with her today and asked to play with her again

Wanting to have a bit of fun again, I instantly said "Yes!" while Azz just looked at me in shock as he was about to say something only for Clara to pounce on him wanting to play again

I did nothing but giggle at the sight, holding my stomach as I wiped a tear from my eye

-Next Day-

"I'll be going now! Bye Grampa, Opera!" I said before hugging them then waving goodbye

Leaving Grandpa crying tears of joy and Opera taking out a handkerchief and wiping his eyes

-Courtyard-

As we were playing games for hours till the end, we got tired and rested

Clara giving us snacks to munch on while she went off somewhere to do something, as well as Azz, leaving me alone with my thoughts

I went to a bench to sit down as I stared into the water bottle given to me by Clara

'What would it be like if the others were here? What would it be like if you were still alive and is to be my teacher again?' I thought to myself in a whisper as I looked at the bottle, seeing my reflection

'I still looked the same but I have elf ears now...' I giggle at the thought

As I was busy thinking to myself, I suddenly felt a chill behind my back, quickly turning around

I saw Clara mid air about to pounce me, I subconsciously side stepped

Getting out of the way by a hair as she landed on the grass

She then started giving me things and talking way too fast

She looked at me and smiled while I looked at the pile of gifts she has given me

"I don't need any of this." I said looking at her eyes

She then started talking about her favorite things in the pile making my swest drop

"Clara... I don't need any of this." I said pushing the gifts to her making her suddenly cry

Shocked at her reaction, I asked her why she was crying

She then explained to me that it was compensation for dealing with her making her cry harder

"CLARA!" I shouted getting her attention finally

I explained to her that I don't need this stuff and that I wanted to keep playing with her as well as be friends with her

A minute of silence was heard then screams of joy

Clara was so happy that I asked her to play with me again and to be my friend as well making her so happy she didn't know what to do

As I was enjoying this moment, only for it to be ruined when the guys from yesterday came wanting snacks from clara only for her to literally throw a vending machine to the main guy on the face

Making them flee as well as making me laugh at what she did but also scared me

Azz came back then we started playing again

-Next Day-

As I was about to go outside our house, I was shocked to see Clara and Azz waiting outside our gate

"Nagisa-chi! Goodmorning!" Clara said doing a weird dance

"Nagisa-sama, good morning." Azz said

Grandpa and Opera came out of the house and saw my new friends

Grandpa said goodbye first leaving to go to a meeting

We walked to school after I said goodbye to Opera

-Cafeteria-

After playing, we went to have lunch in the cafeteria

Clara went off somewhere leaving Azz with me, explaining the ranking system and what food we can get

As we found a place to sit down, our tabke was suddenly filled with food

I went ahead and started eating, enjoying the food

"Nagisa-sama...?" I heard Azz said

Looking up, I saw there was a crowd forming

After I swallowed my food, I asked "What?"

He explained about who did it as food kept coming, only for me to keep eating

I kept eating to the point, the chef fainted

I could hear the whispers of the students talking about me

But was silenced as noise came from somewhere near the store

Azz and I went over there to see, Clara clinging to the end of spear, the shop vendor owns

After explaining what was happening, everybody got quiet whem they heard

"SILENCE!"

(The same thing happened in the anime but nagisa paid before he summoned kalego and released him after he said to release him)

-Courtyard-

As we laid down on the grass, Clara suddenly pulled out ice cream

As we talked for a while, I suddenly said "You guys are the bestest of friends."

Then silence making me look at them all worried

"What? Is it something that I said?" I asked

Then they started bombarding me with question about friends

I then explained to them what friends are and they started arguing who my no.1 friend was

Making me giggle at their antics but was happy that I got new friends
