《Alpha's Dirty Little Secret (ADLS Series #1)✔》| Chapter 5 |

What is worse than someone knocking on your bedroom door in the middle of your peaceful sleep? Someone banging on your door interrupting your peaceful sleep.
"Amira, wake up." Brittany's voice at this moment was like cat claws gliding across a chalk board.
"No."
My eyes still closed, I could hear my bedroom door creak open. A cool draft from the halls slipped in along with the red head. Turning away as quickly as I could, I pulled the blankets over my head and ignored her plea for me to get up.
"It's training time. Get your ass up." Cool air nipped at my skin when she ripped the covers from me.
"What the fuck, what time is it?" I screeched, covering my eyes from the bedroom light she had turned on.
"Its six in the morning, now come on." I sat up, my eyes trained on her as I thought of a million different ways I could rip her apart.
But I could not be livid with her. If I would have overslept, I would have had another confrontation with the head wolf. That is the last thing I needed. Slipping from the warmth of my mattress, I dragged myself into the bathroom.
"Do you assholes train this early every morning?" I questioned once I returned to the bedroom.
"Not every morning, maybe every other morning. Anyway, we are used to it." She confirmed.
"I hate it here even more." I slipped on my sports bra and my spandex shorts which I normally trained in. I decided to put on a little extra, on the account of my situation and where I'm. I put a T-shirt over my sports bra and some sweat pants over my shorts, hoping to avoid the mistake of drawing in any more attention.
"You're going to have a heat stroke in all that." Brittany scanned over my clothing before her eyes met mine once more.
"I think I'll be fine." I lied. She was right. I would not be surprised if I dropped dead out there.
I slipped on my Nike sneakers and confirmed to Brittany that I was ready to go. We walked out the room and down into the kitchen area.
"Come on, we train out back." She pushed open the sliding patio doors and I followed her onto the large patio.
Inhaling, I took in the morning's fresh air and the scent from the nature its self as other members practiced on the grass ahead. It was nothing like the air that blanketed the city. Out here, tall sky scrapers and buildings were replaced by the tallest of trees.
I followed her down the steps, each step bringing in another pair of lingering eyes that did not have a chance of seeing me during my previous day arrival.
Eyes were stuck on me like glue.
"Come on, train with me." Brittany tugged me toward a vacant spot on the field.
I took the time to look at others. My almost optimistic inner wolf forced me to smack on a winning smile and a positive attitude as I met the pack I was 'destined' to be a part of.
The unmated wolves smiled, their exterior showing me friendliness. Smiles, winks, and gentleman-like gestures. However, I knew their inner wolves were up to no good. Down puppy.
Mated females smiled and waved. Women who saw no competition nor threat because they have found their mates and were already bonded to them.
Then there were the eyes of the unmated females. Venomous glares that would slay me if they could. Pure animosity with no real reasons of actually loathing me so soon. Eye rolling, teeth sucking, lip smacking, and eyebrow raise she-wolves.

Self-conscious bitches I say.
"Hello Amira?" A male's greeting snatched my attention away.
"And you are?" I questioned. I did not expect any male here to know my name, except for the Alpha. I was beginning to wish he did not know my name either.
"This is our Beta, Allen." Brittany's shoulder pressed against mine.
"Oh I'm so sorry, hello Beta." I lowered my head, showing my utmost respect to him. Seems to be the only one who was not a fool with power.
"It's nice for you to finally join us."
"Thank you. It's nice to be here and to meet you."
He smiled at Brittany and me before he excused himself from us. He walked toward the house and disappeared in to the sliding back doors.
"That's our Beta? Hmm nicer then the head prick." We laughed a little.
"Look Amira, Alpha wasn't always an asshole you know." She tried to explain.
Since when?
"So what happened?" I asked interestedly.
"Well-"
"Everyone listen up!" A male's dominating voice boomed across the field to catch the immediate attention of his spectators. Speak of the devil.
A quick glance over my shoulder, I caught the eye of the Alpha. Walking onto the field, he stood towering and strong. He stood out from the other males that looked to him with high esteem and admiration. Despite that overlarge head he acquired from the title.
I looked him over. My sour expression and narrowed eyes widened once I scanned over his frame. Shirtless upper body showed me a built physique and frame that proved that his athletic body was his strongest trait.
Averting my eyes away, I scanned over my now clammy hands. A side effect of my heat. I took in a relaxing breath, hoping to calm myself of the inappropriate thoughts that were running through my mind.
"We have a new trainee with us." He pointed out, which caused all eyes to shift my way. "So go easy on the weakling."
A noticeable scowl appeared on my once friendly face.
How dare this fuck face see me as week? My inner monster wanted nothing more than to prove him wrong.
"Step out here." He demanded of me.
I walked out and stood in front of him. Does he want me to fight him? Even though I may not win, I will not have a problem beating on him a little. Such an amazing idea such as that one only made me smile. Once he noticed my fearless look, he began to frown.
"JAZ, step out here." Right on cue, a female stepped forward. Wavy blond hair tied into a ponytail with a face dressed up with the right consistency of makeup. For training? Really? "This Is Jazz."
"Hi." I greeted.
"Humph." She rolled her eyes before they switched back to her Alpha.
Oh. I looked toward Alpha Xavier as well. I could only wonder about the unsettling grin he had plastered on his face. Oh I get it. He picked a nasty one. A bitch.
"She is one of our good fighters so you will fight her. I want to see what you got."
Oh no Alpha, you want to see me get my ass kicked.
"Um okay." I will play this game.
"Ok, start."
With a snap of his finger, I watched as Jaz got into her fighting stance, ready to strike. My hands up in defense, I watched as a smile crossed Jazz's lips. I could see how she was going to enjoy this.

She charged at me, swinging her right arm in attempts to hit me in the face. Just in time, I dodged it.
Her hand snapped back before her right leg lifted, connecting with my exposed rib. Such a small leg sent a powerful blow to my side before her left fist sent a viscous blow to my face.
OH's and ah's escaped the crowd as I hit the ground. I wiped my mouth, checking for blood as I looked up at her. She was hopping around, a smile painted on her face from her hit.
Weirdly, I found it amusing more than annoying.
"Again." Alpha yelled to me, urging me to stand and continue. I also enjoyed the amusement in his tone of voice.
Standing to my feet, I ignored the shooting pain that sparked from my side as I stood to fight again.
"I will go easy on you." Jazz winked.
"Don't."
She swung her right hand, just missing me with a damaging punch. She swung her left hand, hitting my shoulder before her left knee rose, colliding with my damaged side once more.
I dropped to my knees. Soaring pain roared from my side as I exhaled a deep breath. I clinched the grass under me as the pain began to minimize from my soon-to-be bruised side.
Jazz bounced around, smiling and grinning as some of her friends cheered her on. A few other people yelled to me, urging me to stand and continue, begging me not to give in.
I was not giving up. Trust me, I was far from it. Those hits. Those simple hits that she used against me, they were actually my advantages. They were my tools.
Her left leg was her strength. Her left arm was her power tool. She attempted to use her right side but it did not do her much justice. Her legs were her finishers or "go to."
I stood to my feet before Alpha Xavier could demand me to. My body slowly recovery from the hits, I stood in fight stance as I prepared for another attempt from Jazz.
Again she swung, her left hand aiming for my face. A collision she expected to happen before I side stepped and grabbed her wrist. Her mouth widened before my elbow connected to her mouth.
I watched as dirt danced into the air as her body hit the ground. Her eyes widened before they narrowed in on me. Did she expect that? Hell no and neither did the spectators that watched on in astonishment.
"Again." By the tone of voice coming from Alpha Xavier, I'm guessing he did not expect it either.
She quickly scrambled to her feet. That winning smile she had on earlier? Where has it gone?
She charged at me, her left fist cocked back before she swung again, forcing me to dodge it. An embarrassing miss on her part, she decided to use her other assists, her legs. Her left foot rose, aiming for my face before I dropped down, using my legs to kick her one and only weak one right from under her.
She hit the ground hard. The impact forcing her to grab her back in pain as she released a wail of agony.
She looked at me. Fury clearly taking over as darkness clouded over her eyes.
"What's wrong?" I poked my lip out teasingly.
"AGAIN!" Alpha yelled.
She stood up in to fighting position again. She was clearly ready to fight with anger rather than sense now. If it was thing I learned from my father is to never attack with anger.
She swung, allowing me to block with my arms. She swung again, this time I grabbed her arm, twisting it around her back and putting my other arm around her neck. I faced her toward her Alpha, allowing him to see what he had gotten her into.
I watched his eyes grow darker with displeasure as he watched his hopes come crumbling down with his best fighter. I shoved her to the ground. The crowd of hyped up wolves seem to roar out in excitement, clapping and applauding.
"STACY, KIM!!!" The names called for two female wolves to enter the arena. Stacy, a brunette haired girl stepped out. Kim, a black haired girl stepped forward. They were the same females who were cheering on their defeated friend.
"So you want me to fight them next Alpha?" I questioned him.
That devious grin on his face somewhat answered my question.
"No, I want you to fight all three of them....together." The once excited, roaring onlookers soon went quiet as they stared at us in shock. Some seemed a little angry about his choice.
I shot him a venomous glare. This idiotic bitch really wanted to do this?
Okay. Fine.
"Okay start."
The three girls began to spread out, surrounding me like a pack of hungry wolves. Ironic? I stood there patiently, waiting for someone to make the first move. My heart began to race, clouding out the roaring crowd and replacing it with the sound of beating drums. Let your wolf lead you. My father would remind me that my wolf was on my side. He would remind me that my wolf had the power to lead me through the toughest of times.
My heart beats slowed and my breaths regulated just in time to catch wind of an attacker. As expected, Jazz made the first move as she ran at me frantically. Her guard and defenses down, she only gave me the opportunity to send a powerful blow toward her exposed neck. She dropped to her knees, her hands gripping her neck as she strived for her next big breath.
Next, Stacy swung but was disappointed when I blocked her weak hit. The speed and power of my legs sent my foot against her stomach which sent her tumbling to the ground. Kim was left standing. Right leg. My inner wolf had forced me to notice the slight limp when she had first walked in to the circle. A damaging weakness that should have never been spotted by an opponent.
They say never kick a man while he is already down? What about a bitch? My hands up and my fist clinching, I brought all her attention to my hands before I dropped down to spin kicked her legs right from under her.
She hit the ground with a thump as her hands clutched her bruised leg. Finally, they scrambled back to their feet. Hatred. Humiliation. Loathe. I could see the anger burning in their colorless eyes. I could see that they were not ready to give up. Good. Neither was I. Still fighting with anger, Jazz charged at me, her arm ready to strike me.
I anticipated the attack; however I did not expect the next thing. The dirty play that these girls probably done before. A slight tug against my hair sent me hurdling to the ground. Protecting myself, I wrapped myself into a ball as the girls attacked me. Punches. Kicks. They all came one after another, hitting me without a hint of guilt for their play.
On the account of them playing unfair, I expected the Alpha to stop them. Stupidly, he didn't, which only pissed me off more.
My inner wolf howled out, urging me to let my inner beast free. Hold on. I warned myself of the results of me shifting and showing the power that she possessed. I will slaughter these girls. I held back for as long as I could before control was finally lost.
My body began to shake. Air around me began to fade as I gasped for much needed air. Vibrations serge through my bones as they began to crack, shifting and deforming my once humanly body.
My skin, once smooth was now covered in white fuzz that quickly lengthened out. I continued to try to contain myself but I knew I had lost that battle moments ago.
Fully shifted and filled with rage, I shook the girls off of me before I snapped my teeth at the scared party.
My claws dug into the soft dirt as my head lowered. Teeth exposed and my body in attack stance, I dared them to shift so we could finish this game.
Eyes watched me very closely but my eyes remand fixated on the three daring she-wolves. A sharp, threatening growl escaped me. I wanted them to shift. I wanted them to test me again. I dare them to.
All was quiet except my low and dangerous growls that left me every few seconds, a warning to show that I was not up for the shit.
"SHIFT BACK!"
My head snapped in the direction of the command. I opened my mouth slightly until my sharp canines were exposed to him in an almost threatening way.
"Now!!"
I tried to ignore him; I struggled to ignore his command.
"SHIFT BACK OR I SHIFT." His tone was threatening so I knew he would shift. By me showing my teeth to him, I knew if he shifted, blood would definitely be shed.
Almost hesitant, I finally gave in and began to transform back into my human form. Fur retracted back into my skin and my bones returned to normal until I was just an exposed human sitting in the grass. Wide eyes stared at me. Not due to my naked body but they read something else. Curiosity? Shock? I'm guessing no one has ever disobeyed their precious Alpha.
Brittany ran out on the field, handing me a blanket to wrap around myself.
"Thank you." I tightened the material around my flesh as I stood to my feet. My head low, I walked passed the wondering eyes and also the angry ones.
I guess I showed them. My inner wolf felt noble, satisfied, and almost powerful. She also felt something else. Nervous...
My mind still thinking about what had happened earlier today during training, it was difficult for me to watch television. Oh how I wanted to rip their heads off so desperately.
"Amira?" My room door had creaked open before Brittany stepped in.
"Oh hey?" She sat beside me on my bed.
"Soooo what happened earlier?" She questioned me. I did not really want to discuss it but knowing her, I doubt she would drop it.
"Well, I got angry and I accidentally shifted. Sorry about that." I leaned against the headboard. That was the only excuse I had for her.
"Your wolf is so fucking...adorable." She seemed more amused than discouraged about earlier show. "Oh my god and your black paws look like little socks."
"Shut up." I laughed. "Does that normally happen on the field?"
"What? The asshole move the Alpha made? No. Actually, this was like the first time in months he has been out during training."
So this was planned? He wanted to see me get hurt. What have I done to him? Why was I the target? Whatever reason it was, I knew after today's events, it would only get worse.
