《Alone (Joocie X Laff!)》14

Blaza's point of view:
"That's it. They're all gone Laff," I said as my soldiers lined up preparing to go back home to Zilk. "We'll get you home then we must go back to Zilk."
"Thank you so much Blaza. You have no idea how much this means to me, and Makaes. We'll go anything to pay you back," he said as he attempted to stand.
"Careful! Meme can help you stand. And you don't need to worry about paying us back, this is what alliances are for after all."
"I still thank you, Pika is safe now."
"They are. We all are."
I turned around to face my army waiting to return home, "You hear that y'all?! Pika is no more! We are free from them!"
Screams of joy could be heard echoing through the mountains.
"Let's get you back home, yeah Laff?" I said turning around.
"I appreciate your help Blaza; yes I shall return!"
Only Laff and a soldier named Lilly were left from Makaes; according to my calculations it'd take about three hours to head back. I didn't really care about the distance and time, I was too busy being excited that we were finally free from Pika, the kingdom that'd been haunting us for years.
"Attention soldiers! By now I believe you know the way back, you may leave. Tell King Socks that Meme and I will return soon," I shouted. They cheered and began marching back to Zilk.
_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
"How much longer do we have to go Blaza?" Meme sounded quite annoyed. I don't exactly blame him, travelling on foot was never my favorite either.
"About five minutes, we're almost there," I replied.
"It's already dark, do you guys still plan on marching back? I'm sure Makaes would love to meet their heros," Laff smiled as he said that.

"You know.... Marching in the dark doesn't sound very fun.... Maybe we could stay overnight?" Meme practically begged.
"Ok, ok, I suppose Socks wouldn't mind. Since we're all done with Pika we don't have any major worries at the moment anyways."
"Yes!" Meme screamed.
"Calm down Meme," I chuckled.
In the distance torches could be seen, signaling that Makaes was near. Meme started picking up the pace after seeing Makaes, clearly ready for sleep.
Once we arrived Laff had given us our own rooms to stay in for the night, and he'd gone to bed. I was lying awake in my bed though, my thoughts revolving around one fact; the war was over. Years of pain and suffering from so many kingdoms all because one wanted more power. Well, they'd finally gotten what they deserved. I felt bad for some of Pika, knowing that some soldiers didn't want to fight alongside Pika but had no choice.
But everything would change from now on. I'd lived my entire life training to fight Pika, and now I didn't have to anymore. I could live a normal life! Oh the joy!
Finally feeling happy with my thoughts, I closed my eyes and allowed sleep to take over.

The Edgars
A serial killer is wreaking havoc in a small European village, and Charles Edgar believes his estranged brother to be the culprit. But little does he know that a much darker truth lies behind the bloodshed; one that will bring betrayal and destruction to the entire Edgar lineage. (This is a one-act play. A (beat) indicates a pause in the dialogue.) Also, please feel free to rip this story apart in the reviews (if you're so inclined). I really want to improve as a writer, so any criticisms are more than welcomed.

Rifts of War
The visions. It was they that told us about our future. They said that we were the true rulers of the world, the spreaders of light, the guardians of the rightious path. The visions gave us signs of a bright new world, one united under a single banner of light. All those who opposed us suffered and here we stand on the top, watching over the world. We thought it would last forever, but we thought wrong. The visions once again spoke to us and gave us insight, but not to glory or power. They spoke of a terrible fate. An enemy from beyond the realm, one that wishes to destroy us all, one that threatens to bring about the end of the light and usher an age of darkness. As its guardians, we could not allow that. And so we decided to strike. Our armies and our mages gather at the great rift that connects our world. No one knew what we would find. Treasures? Rich land? Savage beasts? There was only one way to find out. A/N: The story starts out pretty quick and I know people will say this is a "military p*rn" but that's only the beginning. I really do have much more planned for this book so I can make a true 'war of the worlds' type of deal. So stick around and enjoy

An Average American in A High-school Academy Anime
An American versed in narrative tropes and more than mildly acquainted with anime wakes up in a completely different bed than the one he went to bed in. Now he has to scramble to understand where he is, what's going on, and hope to God he isn't in a relationship drama. I don't expect this to be good or well-received, but I have plenty of time this quarantine, so I'll try to get a chapter of 4000-10000 words out every one or two weeks. (haha) Please let me know how it can be improved. I'm an avid reader of fiction, but I've never really fallen down a rabbit hole so hard that I can name all tropes and settings and such by heart. I'm not sure if this will be effective satire, so I preemptively apologize. Inspired by: "My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe..." by EO Tenkey and "The Simulacrum" by Eganthale. Check them out if you want probably better stories than this one.
