《Father Laff AU (Socksfor1) Volume 1》Intermission yet again

A few things I wanna say before I move onto our regularly scheduled Intermission Segment.
I don't really know Technoblade That well, but I know that he is a beloved Icon of the Minecraft community and one of the best-known players. As a lot of you know, as of June 30th of this year (2022) everyone on the internet has been informed that he had unfortunately lost the battle between him and cancer.
I really want to express my condolences to his family and friends and literally everyone that knew him personally for their lost. I know how it feels to lose a close friend/family member to cancer; it really fucking sucks as there isn't a known cure for it as it does have a lot of different forms. There are treatments for the various types, with one of them being chemotherapy but if the cancer is really aggressive it won't go away.
There are now two youtubers (that I know of cause im a shut in even on social media) who have battled cancer and lost; Edd from Eddsworld and now Technoblade.
But I do know that the memory of Technoblade will never die, no matter how much time has passed. I'm certain that perhaps new users of Minecraft may hear about him in the near future and be inspired by him in one way or another, and I know his friends will probably help contribute to that; I know a lot of the Minecraft and youtuber community is making their condolences heard as well as much of the fandom literally on any media platform I open.
We keep the world spinning with the memory of great people who aren't 'everyday' heroes, but people who do make our days just a little better, no matter what happens; and as he states so clearly before.

And I'm sure the community will make sure it stays that way for a long time :>
I do actually want to write something to contribute, like maybe writing an exclusive one-shot that features him, or adding references of him in the main story or something; but I am hesitant on doing so at the moment. I know that there would be someone out there who will say 'oh they are only doing this for popularity, how effin shallow of them.'
So that's why I am hesitant 😥
Even if I am not technically a 'fan' of Technoblade since I barely watched him (I see clips of his now all in For You in TikTok) I do want to add something since a lot of people in the community is doing now to show their support in some way or fashion. I would have to do some digging to get a good grab at his personality by watching any video I find of him, but if anyone does want a one-shot dedicated to Technoblade I'd be willing to do so.
That is all I wanna say at the moment about this topic. To Technoblade's family, friends and anyone who knew him personally; I'm very sorry for your loss and I wish you all nothing but the best in these tough times. Wherever he is now, I wanna thank Technoblade for the impact he left on the Minecraft community and the youtube community alike, you have touched the hearts of so many people in the world and they will all miss you a lot.
Even in death, he proves to us that no matter what; Technoblade will never, ever die.
----
I'll make the intermission part short and sweet since this is long for an intermission segment haha.
Time Flys has finally been completed and I guarantee the next Segment will be LONG.
How long? I'm not sure xD. But I'm really looking forward to writing this segment as it's one I had been mentally envisioning for MONTHS.
Ima not say the title to not give away anything 😈
Can't say when the first part will come out tho since we are still packing up to move. I'll try to make it soon but I can't promise anything 😅
I wish you all a good night/day cause it's almost midnight here 😅
Good Night! :>

Vast Asleep
The story of Kingard the Binder in the aftermath of Broken This short story is the epilogue of Broken, the second book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. It’s a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers but is set apart from the full-length narrative. Vast Asleep follows the story of Kingard, who finds himself caught in a world called Mother's realm, bathed in glowing light but strangely stuck in place. He encounters his greatson Varyan there, and learns that his experiences are likely dreams. As he grows more accustomed to the loving realm around him, Kingard remembers fear and trepidation about the face of the world, and he loses contact with his companion. This story answers the question, Is Kingard really dead? with a tentative no, and new mysteries brewing. It also raises the question, What's happening while he's awake? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Ride Awake, about Kingard's situation with the Colkh'rak. Praise for Tales of the Known World Bookends: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between the epilogue and prologue is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well. -- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★

Except this nonviolent fixer has been hired to find her after she went missing in the ongoing AI-controlled war. Stranded in dangerous territory, Jamie’s jaw drops when he discovers his ex among their numbers. But with her personality split and scattered, his own survival will depend on reaching through her fragmented mind… Can this pacifist hunter make the truth known before he’s sentenced to death? My Dear Alice is a fast-paced companion story that bridges Seasons 1 and 2 of the gripping Cyber Overture dystopian series. If you like complex character studies, gritty worlds, and shocking twists, then you’ll love D. B. Goodin’s outlander opus. Note: This should be read after Sonorous. This story has been published, but I'm adding it here for Royal Road readers to enjoy.

Celestial Spark
Mages traditionally make poor fodder, but with proper training and motivation, possess near limitless potential. For mage teams, the battle camps of the Upper Realms provide both, with missions ranging from orc hunts to political espionage. This tale follows one such team of four who strive to prove themselves in a world that would rather overlook them. Loyalty, honour, and devotion are contrasted by avarice, treachery, and apathy, though at times it can be difficult to separate vice from virtue. For though all people, whether they hail from the peripheries or the kingdom capital, are subjects whose fates are bound to the stars, their choices must be their own. Any comments or questions are welcomed.
