Putting together a backpack, Laff was walking back and forth from his room, the living room and the kitchen as Nadwe was sitting in his playpen watching him. Laff had some errands to run today so he was entrusting Shroobz and Wictoria to watch Nadwe for him for the day. He smiled softly at the thought of his two favorite people watching his only son. He looked over at the clock and noted the time, they should be here shortly.

Nadwe began babbling loudly from his playpen as Laff looked over and smiled. He set the bag down and walked over, picking him up "Yes lad, your mommy and uncle Shroobz are gonna watch yous today while daddy does errands." Nadwe kept babbling as he held Laff's hand.

Laff chuckled softly and smiled at him "You've been real talkative lately son, gonna say something soon?"

Nadwe looked at him and smiled as if he didn't know what he was talking about. Laff let out a small laugh and kissed his head "Son, I cannot wait until you start speaking your mind." He booped his nose "I know you're just itching to spark fights with uncle Socks and uncle Oompa." Nadwe squeaked and giggled as someone knocked on the door. Smiling warmly, Laff walked over to the door carrying Nadwe "That must be-" He opened the door.

Joocie was standing there as he flinched softly "Oh! Hey Laff! I didn't expect you to answer so soon." Laff smiled and invited Joocie inside "Not at all mate, I'm glad you came." Joocie smiled and walked into Laff's apartment. Laff was gonna close the door as Shroobz put his hand in the door jam.

"Hey there Gasman, gonna shut the door on your son's babysitters?" He laughed as Wictoria ran up, out of breath "H-How did you make it up the stairs so fast!?" Laff chuckled and smiled "Shroobz! Tori, sorry I didn't see yous two there." Shroobz smiled and opened the door back up "Hey I wouldn't pass up spending time with Wictoria and Nadwe." Nadwe giggled as Wictoria took him, Joocie came over with the bag and handed it to Shroobz.

"I'm just grateful you two can watch him today." Wictoria smiled happily and shook her head "It's no trouble at all." Laff smiled and ruffled Nadwe's hair "You be good for your mother and uncle Shroobz, got it?" Nadwe only giggled happily in response. Shroobz smiled and moved away from the door "We'll be back before dinner!" He walked away with Wictoria in tow.

Laff waited for the two to disappear in the stairwell as he sighed and closed the door. He turned and faced Joocie with a more serious demeanor "You ready mate?"

Joocie looked back at him and sighed quietly, becoming a little anxious as he nodded "...I am, it's been long enough." Laff seemed to huff at this as he looked away "Not long enough if you ask me-" Joocie cut him off "Laff, please." Laff sighed and nodded "Right, right, I'll trust your judgment mate." Joocie took a breath and pulled out his phone.

Tbvg was waiting anxiously in the waiting room as he tapped his foot on the ground. He was still as worried and as anxious as the day that happened; and it was three months ago! Oof still hadn't woken up from the accident since he was medically induced. He was only in the waiting room now because the doctors were running tests on Oof so he wasn't allowed in the room.

He was gripping his own hand tightly as the yellow light on his visor was almost burnt out from how long it's been activated. "H-He'll be okay...H-He will..." He muttered quietly to himself as he tried to convince himself to calm down. For the past three months Oompa and/or Blaza would wait with him and that helped him calm down a lot. But Oompa was busy with his business and Blaza was trying to find a new job after the new manager fired him for 'incompetence' (something that Shroobz was trying to disprove since he also worked at the grocery mart).

So now he was alone, and it was not helping him in the slightest.

He quickly flinched as his visor started to burn him, quickly yanking it off as the yellow light finally turned off. He held it delicately in his hands, inspecting it. There were now burn marks around the lights and especially around the yellow light as he sighed heavily. He's gonna have to fix it when he gets a chance and he knew it would take a while too.

"Tbvg?"

Tbvg quickly looked up at a nurse who was in the doorway, motioning him in to tell him he could come to Oof's room now. He quickly put his visor in his pocket as he got up, speed walking to the nurse. The nurse led him the usual way to the elevators and then stepped away to help some other patients. After the elevator brought him to the 7th floor, Tbvg quickly walked again to Oof's room, mentally preparing himself to sit at his bedside until visiting hours were over.

...Or not.

When he walked into the view of the door, he was caught off guard as he heard someone groggily call his pet name. "Tb?" Tbvg's eyes widened as he quickly looked in that direction.

It was Oof. He was propped sitting up in his bed with his left ankle in a cast and his right forearm also in a cast, a shit ton of bandages all over and a few stitches here and there.

But Oof was awake.

The two stared at each other for a bit before Oof groggily chuckled quietly "hey...you've been taking care of yourself, right?-"

Tbvg quickly came over, Oof half expecting him to throw himself into his chest and break down and half expecting what Tbvg actually did; hit him square in the chest. Oof flinched and clenched his teeth as it fucking hurt right there "GAH-! FUCK" He took in a sharp breath as he looked up at Tbvg "What did-"

Tbvg looked absolutely enraged, upset and relieved all in one very unstable person sized package. He almost instantly started crying He took in a small breath before throwing himself into Oof and gripped onto him tightly, sobbing quite loudly and harshly

Oof took a second to process what was happening as he sighed quietly, he had expected this. He carefully wrapped his left arm around Tbvg to console him as he let him let everything he had kept in for the past three months. Not saying anything or even trying to, he just silently held Tbvg as he kept crying loudly and cursing him out for his own stupidity. Which; fair, he thought since it was his own damn fault he didn't have any protective gear on.

It took a full 15 minutes for Tbvg to eventually calm down, his throat raspy from yelling and crying as he refused to let Oof go. He was whimpering quietly as he sobbed meekly.

"...got it all out?" Oof quietly asked as Tbvg nodded silently. Oof sighed quietly and rubbed the back of his head gently "mn...good...Look Tb, I know you have been really really worried about me...and rightfully mad at me since this was my fault-" Tbvg hiccupped and clung to him tighter "e-exactly..." He whimpered as Oof resumed, rubbing his back reassuringly "which is why...I think you should be more relieved that I am okay than mad."

Tbvg sniffled and looked at him, Oof moving his hand up to rub out the tears forming in his eyes "I-I am! B-But for fucks sake Oof, everyone told you it was to risky!...w-well Oompa didn't, but-"

Oof shushed him and patted his shoulder gently "I know, I know. I could have died, but I didn't." He gently cupped his face with his one hand "I am awake right here, right now with only a few stitches and broken bones. I'm going to be alright, Tb...I promise." Tbvg sniffled quietly and buried his face back into his chest as he held onto him. "And I promise I will try-"

"Not try, actually fucking promise you won't do that stupid shit again."

Oof chuckled quietly and kissed his head "Alright, I promise I will not ever never ever do anything that stupid and reckless again. I promise my life to it." Tbvg sighed quietly and relaxed a bit on him "good..." he muttered out quietly. The two stayed like this for a bit before Oof let out a small painful chuckle "A-As much as I love this moment, Tb, I need you to stop leaning on me." Tbvg didn't let go but moved his face so he could look at him "W-Why?"

"Cause-mn-babe, you're l-like right on my catheter and i-it fucking hurt having that being put in so c-could you please-"

Tbvg's eyes widened as he quickly got up and off of Oof "OH SHIT-!" Oof sighed softly in relief and relaxed, looking at him as he chuckled quietly "I-I know you wanted to be close to me a-after three months of being asleep, but for FUCKS SAKE babe be mindful of my crotch please." Tbvg laughed nervously as he pulled over a chair "S-Sorry, sorry.." Oof chuckled quietly and held his hand out "It's alright.."

Tbvg looked at him and gently took his hand. Oof laid his head back down and held his hand tightly. "Nurse says I'll be able to go home in a few days." He rubbed his hand gently with his thumb "So...I hope you don't mind waiting for a few days.." Tbvg looked at him as he held his hand tightly "Of course...I'm just so glad you're awake..." Oof smiled tiredly and sighed quietly, closing his eyes.

"...never do that shit again."

Running down the familiar hall, Tbh stopped short of Joocie's apartment door as he smoothed out his shirt. He panted softly as he smoothed back his hair, walking up to the door off of instinct. It wasn't until he came up to the door when he remembered that he didn't have a key into the apartment since Joocie had changed all the locks. Sighing quietly, Tbh muttered "right" as he softly knocked on the door.

"It's open; Honest."

Tbh blinked, surprised as he took a second. -That was fast...- He opened the door and walked in to the very familiar apartment, shutting the door behind him and looking around.

Joocie was sitting at the small dining table off to the side of the kitchen. He looked over at Tbh when he opened the door and gestured back to the door "Go ahead and lock it, please." Tbh flinched and turned back around, locking the deadbolt before slowly walking over. "Ha...didn't think that we would talk at your place...guess you still trust me somewhat..." He laughed quietly and nervously as Joocie stared at him.

"...*Ahem* N-Nevermind..."

Joocie took a small breath and gestured to the chair across from him "Sit."

Tbh quickly moved over to the chair and sat down, putting his arms up onto the table as Joocie sat up a bit. "I am glad you could come over to talk Tbh, I thought you would have been busy with either one of your two jobs..." Joocie admitted as he glanced to the side. Tbh scratched his head "W-Well, I was...but things have slowed down and of course I could always make time for you.."

Joocie shot him a look as Tbh quickly went silent again "r-right..." Joocie cleared his throat and folded his hands together. "Well, it has been three months since we last talked; so I figured that enough time has passed for us both to think." He took in a slow breath "...and...I have decided to give you one last chance."

Tbh's eyes widened as he looked at him "W-Wait-seriously-!?"

Joocie deadpanned him "But it's only ONE chance, will ever be ONE chance, and so you should fail that chance you will not get another chance." He crossed his arms "and so to ensure that you are aware of what 'fuck ups' are "allowed" and what will make you lose this chance, I called for some help." Tbh blinked and tilted his head "wait-huh-"

Tbh flinched and turned around in his chair to see Laff standing behind him. He laughed nervously and scratched his head "Heyyyyy Laff...H-How have you been?" Laff only narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms. "I called Laff to help out. You know that his talent is telling when people lie. I thought it would be a good idea to have him during our meeting." He tilted his head slightly "Wouldn't you agree?"

Now extremely nervous, Tbh nodded silently as Laff moved over to the side of the table, pulling out one of the chairs and sitting down in between the two. He was deadpanning Tbh with his arms folded as Joocie continued. "I've talked with both Laff and Meme...and they both agree that taking you back as a romantic partner is a really fucking bad choice. So for me to fully accept you back; you have to start back at square one with me Honest. And you have to actually put in effort."

Tbh glanced at Laff for a split second as he nodded, looking at Joocie "I-I understand, but believe me; I really really want to do everything I can to make it up to you."

Joocie looked at Laff as he searched Tbh. He let out a silent huff and nodded, closing his eyes. This relieved Joocie a bit, -at least now he is being fucking honest...- he took a second before looking at Tbh. "How would you make it up to me? I want you to be specific with me, Honest." Tbh looked at him before glancing down "...I am not sure how I could ever make anything up to you...but in whatever way you see fit enough; I would do whatever you think it takes me to win you back.."

Joocie looked at Laff again as Laff remained silent for a few seconds. "...treading lightly, but even I am surprised Honest." Laff opened his eyes and looked at him. Joocie nodded softly and looked at Tbh "I do have some things for you to accomplish; Honest. But the most important thing for you to be aware of is what would make you lose this one chance. Laff?" He turned to look at Laff again as he pulled out a folded piece of paper from his coat.

"On this paper are the numerous redflags that we, being myself and Meme, briefed Joocie as to what he needs to watch out for once he re-enters in this relationship. The most prominent that we have agreed upon are; Any Controlling behavior on your part,. I.E: attempting to control what Joocie does, say, speak to, or believe in. Any forms of Physical/Emotional/and or Mental abuse; Joocie has multiple resources to go back to if at any time he feels like he is being mentally, emotionally abused or being gaslit. If he ever feels unsafe due to Anger issues/ substance abuse/ or you are just so fucking full of yourself and only yourself, that could also be grounds of ending things. With me so far Honest?"

Tbh looked like he was processing as he slowly nodded "Y-Yeah, I think so.."

Laff let out a small hum "Good; moving on. Some smaller redflags we have discussed are not limited to: Jealousy, Inability to solve conflict, and a lack of communication between both of you. These are things that could be very well fixed with proper help, so if Joocie ever feels like you both need professional help; Myself, Oompa, and/or Shroobz will be called immediately to try and remedy the situation."

"Wait-Why is Oompa part of that list???"

Joocie sighed quietly "He insisted he be put on that list, he wants experience so if he is ever alone with me again he knows how to help." Tbh tilted his head "Wait what happened-" Joocie quickly glared at him "" Tbh froze and tensed up a bit as Laff cleared his throat.

"Last part, don't get lost Honest cause this part is important mate." Laff set the paper down and glared at him "The relationship between you and Joocie will fucking end if Joocie is subjected to Sexual Assault by you, and/or you are caught fucking cheating by any means; I.E; over social media or caught in the fucking act in public." He glared at him "I HOPE you fucking understand the gravity of this, because once you accept this there is no turning back. If you fuck up on any level you'll never get another chance from any of us, understand?"

Tbh took a minute to process all that was said as Laff slid the paper over "If you ever forget, here is your own copy so you will not have any excuse." Tbh chuckled nervously and took the paper "Y-You really thought of everything." Laff looked at Joocie "Well, Joocie is like a son to me Honest. And I'll never let anything happen to him."

Joocie looked at Tbh "Well?" Tbh looked at him confused for a bit before he remembered what he was talking about "Oh! Y-Yes, of course I accept all of this. I-I just really want you back Joocie." Joocie seemed to smile a bit as Laff looked at him "I'll have to come back at a later date so you can sign a document proving you agreed." Tbh looked at him confused "Is that really necessary?" Laff deadpanned him and crossed his arms "Mate, you know I come from a law enforcement background; it IS necessary." Tbh flinched softly "R-Right-"

"Thursday."

Tbh blinked and looked at Joocie "Huh?" Joocie kept looking at him as he repeated himself "Thursday. At the roller rink at 3. That's when you can start winning me back." Tbh looked elated as Joocie gestured to the door "It'll take you more than one date to move back in with me, I'm afraid." Tbh quickly got up, not even sure himself that this was really happening "N-No it's alright Joocie! I-I'll wait as long as I have to! So uh-" He rubbed his head "A-Am I picking you up or are you...?..or do I have Blaza drive us?"

Joocie snickered quietly and subtly as he stood up with Laff "I'll come get you, but any date after that you have to find your own way and bring me with."

Tbh nodded and walked back to the door "O-Of course, t-then I'll see you then!" He opened the door as Joocie called out to him "No flaking!" Tbh looked back at him and smiled softly "I won't, I promise!" He walked out and shut the door behind him.

Joocie looked at Laff as he sighed quietly "I am surprised, lad. I expected him to lie at least once or twice..." Joocie smiled softly "I figured he needed some time out of my home to get his head straight." He looked at him as Laff was stretching his arm "Thank you for shadowing our meeting, Laff." Laff looked over at him and smiled warmly, walking over "Of course mate, I want nothing but the best for you." He ruffled his hair as Joocie chuckled quietly.

Tbh was standing outside by the door as he looked in disbelief. After a few seconds he had a goofy smile as he laughed happily "FUCK YES!" He took a moment before quickly walking down the hallway "Oh I gotta tell Blaza!"

Sitting by an indoor play structure, Shroobz watched Nadwe as he was wobbling around. He giggled madly as he ran over to the small ball pit, tripping over the mats on the ground and falling face first into the ballpit. Shroobz flinched softly and tilted his head "Nadwe??"

Nadwe sat up and squealed loudly, throwing a lot of plastic balls up as Shroobz chuckled quietly. He watched Nadwe for a bit before looking over at Wictoria who was on her phone. He tilted his head as he got up and walked closer, overhearing her horrible, concealed whispering.
