《If It Was Caleb--Divergent alternative ending》Tobias' P.O.V.

We run to the basement and the doors are closed. Caleb unlocks all the doors and we search. There is nothing. Not a trace of Tris. My mind starts to rush. With every second she isn't here, she could be getting hurt. I reach the end of a hall and see two doors. Everyone follows behind me. "Christina,Uriah go left. Zeke, we'll go right. Caleb, you need to get on security and make sure he doesn't have backup." I say and he shakes his head. "No. I need to go with you." He replies.
I grab his shoulders and look him in the eyes. "You know the system better than us. I promise. We'll protect her and get her out safely." I say and he nods. I purposely used my instructor voice so he'd listen. We break off into our groups and I open the door.
I see Peter standing in the corner with a gun to her head. She's kneeling on the ground and he's holding her there. My heart sinks to my stomach when I see her. Tris looks at me and slightly smiles. She mouths 'i love you'. She has to make it. "You shoot, I shoot." He says and I turn to Zeke. "What do you want from us?" Zeke asks and Peter shakes his head. "Im just using her to find a simulation for divergents." He replies and an idea rushes into mind. "Take me and let her go. I won't give you any trouble if you just let her go." I say and he appears to consider it.
I lower my gun and hold my hands out. "Deal." He says and we both walk forward. "Give me your arm." Peter says and Zeke walks behind me. I do and he throws Tris at Zeke. He pulls me in and starts to drag me away. "No. Tobias please." She says with tears running down her face. She is so weak that she can barely walk. I turn around and put my head down. I follow him to the door and elbow his throat. He lets me go and falls to the ground, gasping for air. I grab Tris and run. Not before I hear a loud gunshot.

Pro Dungeon Impact
Lars Ochre had it all. Success. Fame. Fortune. A forest of back hair. A never ending hunger for snack cakes. Most of all, Lars had a passion for wrestling--he lived for that perfectly choreographed spectacle of showmanship night after night in front of thousands of adoring fans. But when a strange young man wheels into Lars' lonely life, he suddenly finds himself doing something he thought he would never do--playing that hot new video game all the kids are raving about. There's only one problem: it just might be the thing to kill him. Unless... he can figure a way out. Pro Dungeon Impact is a high stakes virtual thrill ride mashing GameLit elements with professional wrestling, and written by a dude whose passions are puns, lame jokes, and maintaining a mental encyclopedia of pop culture references. This novel is a work in progress.

Errant
Amateur fighter Kestril only remembers two things about her mother's disappearance: a locket and the promise she made to keep her brother safe. That promise is all she thinks of when she jumps in front of a car to save her brother. She expects death, but instead wakes up to a looming clock tower, cobblestone streets, and dead soldiers wearing lockets just like her mother's. Kess's locket marks her as one of the Errant- people with control over dimensions and time, and the same people rumored to have captured her brother across the city. When a military group mistakes Kess for their enemy, she swears allegiance at gunpoint, hoping to search for her brother from within. Inside, Kess finds an even darker side of the city bent on killing the Errant-using any means necessary. When the murder of an important Errant soldier throws the city further into civil war, Kess uncovers a plot that could undo everything she's fought for so far. The only problem? Her brother is at the head of it. Trapped between her promise to her mother and her morals, Kess finds little use for her theatrical brawling of the past. She can only hope to find her brother before it's too late. || Update: 4/24/2022 Have decided to rewrite this novel, but will continue to post chapters of this draft, possibly with commentary.
