I couldn't stay here. My parents weren't my parents anymore. Faction before blood. Love before faction. I had to find Eric and either kill him or drag him to bed. If I was into necrophilia I could do both.

I looked my hotel room for any cameras. I didn't see any although that didn't mean there weren't any.

"Oh come on," I muttered after realizing I was on the fifth floor. I slid the window open anyways and took a flying leap. This wasn't much different from the first tasks at Dauntless. Well, except they were pretty much smashed together into one. Falling and jumping. The scary thing? There wasn't a net at the bottom.

The bottoms of my feet connected with the ground, sending pain up to my thighs. I hate when that happens.

I jogged towards the train while also trying to shake the pain out of my legs.

By the time I made it to the train, it had already begun to move. I took a deep breath before chasing after it. For being out of shape, it was relatively easy to catch up with it.

I had no idea what to expect when I arrived at my destination.

My destination had a change of plans when the train passed Abnegation.

I jumped from the train car, rolling a bit. Not stopping to dust myself off, I ran towards the chaos.

I spotted a tall male figure terrorizing a small family. "Eric, what are you doing?"

He turned around, his malicious smile fading from his face. "Gabriela, what are you doing here?"

I took cautious steps forward. The family behind Eric looked like they wanted to flee but were frozen in place. This was horrible.

"That isn't the issue at hand, Eric, and you know it. Why the hell would you terrorize Abnegation? They keep things in check." Eric laughed humorlessly.

"I guess you aren't a nose after all. All along you were a stiff," he sneered at me. I took a step back. What was wrong with him?

"Eric-" His hands were around my neck before I could utter another word.

"Make no mistake. Once you give birth I will take the kid. Then you'll be killed. I tried to save you but you are already brainwashed." He let go after his promise. I coughed, trying to regain normal breathing.

"I'll kill our child before you would ever get your hands on it," I said lowly. His eyes widened slowly.

"You wouldn't dare."

"Oh I would, Eric." I pulled out my pocketknife out of my shoe, before putting it against my stomach.

"Tell me how you will take my child away, Eric. Just say it." He looked shocked, no longer thinking that I'm bluffing.

"I won't take the baby, Gabriela." He opened his mouth to say something else but he didn't get a sound out. Dark red came out of his mouth like wine. Someone shot Eric.
