Peter crumples to the ground, yelping. Evelyn holds a gun, staring at me.

Tris' mouth is still wide open, and she stares at Evelyn. "Th-thank you," she says. I place my hand upon Tris' back and I rub it tenderly.

Evelyn nods. "Now, what do we need to do to get the city to cooperate?" She asks me.

-

"This isn't about containing the city anymore," I say, shifting Emma on my hip. "This is about the people outside of that wall. They need to come into the city and be saved, and the people in the city should be able to leave if they want. We need to notify them on what is going on, now."

"I've already made a video, before I came to save you," Tris says to me. "Can I project it on the screens.. Like Jeanine did?"

"Yes," Evelyn says, opening up her computer. "Here. If you give me the flash drive, I can upload it for you..."

"Thank you," Tris responds to Evelyn, pulling a flash drive out of her pocket and handing it to her. "I need to find Christina and Caleb," she says to me. "Do you want to come with and bring Emma?"

"Sure," I reply. "Emma, we're going to find Christina and Caleb, okay?" I ask her.

-

-

She looks up at me. "Dada," she says. I give her a small smile and kiss her cheek.

Tris and I find both Caleb and Christina talking with Uriah at one of the top levels of Erudite. We're about to walk up to them, but then I hear Tris' voice on the loudspeakers.

People bustling around Erudite Headquarters stop and look at the video projecting in the middle of the building. I know people are listening outside, too.

-

-

Emma looks around, hearing the voice, and then she looks at Tris. She gives Tris a small smile and points to her with her tiny pointer finger. "Mama," she says.

Tris suddenly smiles so big at her. I hand Emma to Tris, and Tris pokes her on the nose. "I guess we're a family now, aren't we?" Tris asks little Emma, who giggles in response.

I put my hand on Tris' back as we watch the video together with Emma and the rest of the city. We're like a little family now, the three of us.

It is our time now to decide what we need to do to fight back. David can be defeated. We need to not only save the city, but the people in the Fringe. Once and for all.
