"I don't know where I'd be without you," she told him that night, relaxing against his chest, and feeling his happiness radiate through his skin.

"I don't know either, my queen. But I am so glad I have you," he whispered, pressing his lips to her hair.

After a few minutes of just resting, enjoying the after glow of their coronation, she finally expressed her fears to him. "I don't know anything about ruling the seas."

He hummed, "We are still set on old traditions, the men do the work while the women keep busy around the castle or sticking to my side. That's not saying your not important, because that's not true. You keep me calm and happy."

"But your mom-"

"Who else was to rule?" he chuckled.

"I love you," she told him, leaning up to kiss his lips.

"I love you too," he murmured after they broke apart, pulling her closer.
