The girl ducked her head between her tail, her shaking growing more intense with each passing moment and Tobias was afraid she would pass out.

"Hey," he calls gently, sinking to her level. "Hey, it's alright. Your my Desire, I won't hurt you," he tries with a little more confidence. He can't resist and scoops the light, tiny figure onto his lap. The girl doesn't even protest, just curls in his embrace even further, hiding from the world by putting her face in his neck.

"See? I've got you now, just relax," he cooes, shooing the awe struck guards away from their private moment. He took a moment to look at her form, her tail was beautiful, unlike the normal greens and purples you normally see. It matched the green blue of his single colored tail.

He rubbed her back, waiting until that final shuddering breath to let him know she had calmed. He pulled away a little, but she quickly clung back to him like the land animal called koala or the animal in his kingdom known as klineger bears, real mean creatures when you got to know them.

"Rest easy, sweetheart. I was just going to look at your beautiful face," he ran his knuckles tenderly down her cheek and gave her a sweet smile. "I'm Tobias, or Prince Four, as many know me. But for you, my Desire, Tobias will do."

Her cheeks blossomed with a gentle red color, and she leaned into his touch. "Beatrice," she murmured, her voice soft and reserved like her posture.

"Tris," he grinned, almost instinctively. "Fits you perfectly." He glanced down at her and was angered by the cuts and bruises and filth that littered her skin. "Let's get you cleaned up." He didn't dare ask her story for he knew she'd just panic. When she was ready she'd tell him and that was fine with him.
