You layed in bed, pretending to be sick. It worked. Your parents let you stay home while they went to work. You turned your stereo on and jammed in bed, doodling your crush's name in the back of your geometry notebook. Your phone buzzed and you checked it.
It was your best friend, Seokmin, the guy who's name you have been doodling for the last 20 minutes.
SM- Where are you?
Y- not at school
SM-Where are you?!
Y-at home.
SM-Why?
Y-Im tired of people bullying me :'(
SM-Want me to handle it?
Y-I don't want you getting in trouble.
Seokmin stopped messaging you.
"Ugh. Why are you so sweet?!" You groaned. An hour later you got another text.
SM-Are your parents home?
Y-No,why?
SM-I got kicked out of school for the rest of the day :p
Y-What'd you do!?
SM-Cussed out the girls who were bullying you. Are you mad?
Y-No...
SM-See you soon.
You waited for him. After a little while your door slammed open and a beaten up Seokmin entered your room.
His left eye was all purple and swollen, his bottom lip was fat and bleeding, his teeth were dyed red from all the blood in his mouth, he had various bruises all over his face and his uniform shirt was torn up and covered in blood stains. He looked like the narrator of Fight Club.
"Oh my god! Are you okay!? No you aren't! You're bleeding! What did you do!?" You freaked out. "I may have left out the detail about the girls who bully you having boyfriends...boyfriends that were bigger and stronger than me...It was worth it though." He smiled largely and blood dripped out of his mouth a little.
"What made it worth it? You look like you got jumped by a gang in a dark ally!" You were so worried about him. "The girls promised to leave you alone." He smiled sweetly. "Then their boyfriends beat you up?" You asked in disbelief. He nodded. "Seokmin...me not getting bullied anymore isn't worth this." You said, resting a hand on his shoulder. "If you love someone...you'll do anything for them though." He said, looking into your eyes lovingly. "L-love?" Your heart skipped a beat....it skipped a few.

"(Y/n). I love you. I want you to love me." He said taking your hands in his. You thought about how much you liked him and how long you'd been harboring those feelings. You were overcome with joy as you tackled him with a tight hug.
This was cute. All I had to do was add a few more details to get the word count up a little lol

Leading the recruitment charge is Zoe, a powerful technomancer, one of the first generation of Talents. On her adventures, what will happen? Your votes will decide. A/N: I'll update chapters when I get to places where I feel it's right, I don't know where to go and want some direction or would like to have you help with the narrative in some way. Having others make choices forces me to be creative and I think that's when I'm at my best. Keep an eye out for polls in post chapter notes, they usually last 2 days. As always, love each other, and know I am grateful for every single person who reads my works.
