"So, you're going on a date?" Kristen asked as she watched her older brother shuffle through clothes in his closet.

"If I say yes, will you stop asking about it?" Alan stated, giving her an annoyed face over his shoulder.

"Maybe?" she replied with a smirk.

"... yes. I'm going on a date..." Alan confirmed through gritted teeth.

"It's the guy who dropped you off at home from homecoming, isn't it?" Kristen asked, a bit of excitement in her voice. "The one with the nice car?"

"How do you know it's a guy?" Alan questioned, refusing to admit it.

"Seriously? I know it's not a girl, that's for sure." Kristen scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"Kristen, if you are done interrogating me, go away so I can get dressed. I have to make sure I'm ready in about 30 minutes." Alan spoke in a frustrated manner, holding up 2 shirts in each of his hands.

"Just wear what you normally do, dork." Kristen replied.

"Are you kidding me? I can't do that." Alan shot back in shock. "I'll look like complete garbage next to him."

"I'm sure when he met you the first time, you looked like trash." she rebutted, just to see him glare back. "Just be comfortable and normal, Allie. I'm sure he'll be happy to see you regardless."

Alan looked over towards his little sister, not expecting her to say such encouraging words. "...Thanks, Kris." he answered with a small smile.

"Wear a long sleeve green tee with dark wash jeans, white sneakers and black bomber. The green brings out the color of your eyes. Do NOT wear glasses and leave your hair alone." Kristen smiled back, before walking away. "Now, you won't look like utter trash."

Alan grinned to himself as he watched her walk away. "Smartass brat.."

-

"He is going to pick you up, right?" his mother asked, following behind him as he walked from the kitchen to the living room.

"Yes, he is." Alan replied, trying to avoid her barrage of questions. "Knowing how he is, he'll come straight to the door-"

Alan paused at the thought and stared at the door in horror. He looked at his parents quickly, who looked back at him, then to the door and at that exact moment, the doorbell rang.

Making a mad dash towards the door, Alan attempted to cut his parents off from where he was. His father and mother tried to grab him in the process, yet they were all too short as Kristen had been coming down the staircase when it rang and beat them to the door. She turned the doorknob and opened it, looking up and her expression shifted to pure awe. "Um.... hello..." she forced out after a few seconds.

"Hi..." Daniel replied with a smile. "Are you Alan's sister?"

"Um... yes... that lucky jerk..." she answered in a mutter, only to see Daniel's face change to confusion. "I mean, yes, I am!"

"Annnnnnnd you can go away now!" Alan quickly blurted out, pushing Kristen away as he ran out the door, stopping short as he came face to face with Daniel. "Hey..." Alan spoke with a smile and sigh, not helping but be completely happy at the sight of him.

"Hey there." Daniel replied with a warm smile of his own.

"Sooo.... You're Alan's date?"

They both looked over at the sound of his father's voice, seeing his family hanging in the doorway quite eagerly.

"Daniel, my family. Family, Daniel. We can go now." Alan quickly forced out, grabbing Daniel's left arm and trying to walk away.

"Alan Bernard Wilson." his mother spoke firmly, seeing her son visibly stop in his tracks and tense. "Let us meet this young man."

Alan grimaced in pure embarrassment, looking up at Daniel with a bright red face.

"It's fine, Alan. I don't mind..." Daniel reassured him softly. "Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson. I'm Daniel Lang. It's nice to meet you." he stated, a warm and friendly smile on his face as he walked over towards them.

-

"I'm so sorry my family is fucking insane." Alan grumbled in the front seat of Daniel's car, burying his face in his hands.

"No, they aren't. They seem really fun." Daniel spoke with a laugh as he shifted gears. "Is this your first time being asked out on a date?" he asked, glancing over as he did so.

"Yeah... so they are really excited about it." Alan answered, leaning back into the seat. "You're the first person, let along the first guy, to come and take me out on a date."

"Wow... I'm the first." Daniel spoke in amazement. "I feel very honored."

"I mean, you're the first at a few other things as well..." Alan teased with a smirk, only to see Daniel's face light up in curiosity.

"Such as?" Daniel asked, surprised.

"Let's see... first cursed person I've ever met, first one to give me a make-over, first talking frog I ever met..."

"OK, ok. I get it." Daniel said with a frown. "Granted, these were circumstantial. Do they count?"

"Why not? Never had them happen before. I'm sure there are some things on your end too." Alan replied with a shrug.

"Well... you were my first kiss, actually." Daniel admitted as he drove.

"Wait. Waitwaitwait... I was... your FIRST KISS?" Alan asked, shocked.

"Yep." Daniel answered with a smile.

"You're fucking kidding. You mean to tell me that NO ONE has EVER KISSED your beautiful face before you kissed mine?" Alan proclaimed, baffled.

"You do realize you're saying this out loud and not in your head, right?" Daniel teased, glancing over towards him again.

Alan's face was as red as it could possibly be, his lips pursed tight as he stared out towards the road in front of them.

"Is that a bad thing, Moogle?" Daniel asked, concerned.

"NO! I mean, no... no, it's not. It's just... um... shit..." Alan stammered, his mind slowly starting to implode.

"It's ok. Honestly, I like the fact that it was you." Daniel admitted calmly as he continued to drive.

"Why?" Alan was surprised to hear him say that.

"Because... it was nice... and I had wanted to kiss you when I first saw you anyway. I mean... you were a cute kid." Daniel joked with a laugh.

"I thought it was to get me to stop crying..." Alan joked back with a grin.

"Semantics." Daniel rebutted with a playful shrug.

"Well... I'm happy about it, too." Alan replied, a smile on his lips. "Also, where are we going?"

"Oh, we're going to a cafe I like to study at so we can do homework. It's a 24 hour dessert/lunch place. The other half of our date is a surprise." Daniel answered with a playful expression.

"Surprise? Am I going to like it?" Alan asked, not able to contain his excitement as his eyes lit up.

"I hope so. Otherwise, this date is gonna suck. Also... Bernard?" Daniel teased, a huge smirk on his face.

"Shut up, wombat."

-

While seated on the second floor of the cafe, they picked a corner near the back, not far from a TV that was playing K-Pop music videos. Books and notepads covered their table, yet they were more focused on splitting a large order of strawberry Bing-soo.

"I've never had this before... and I've been deprived. This is so damn delicious!" Alan exclaimed happily, putting another spoonful into his mouth.

"I'll have to take you to dessert cafes more often. This is more of a light cafe and it's mostly known for brunch, lunch and drinks, as well as some small selection of desserts." Daniel replied, eating more himself.

"You mean to tell me there are MORE places like this?" Alan asked, his face in disbelief.

Daniel laughed. "Yeah! Have you not been to any of them?"

"I haven't really traveled out much. It's a bit hard when you don't have a car." Alan spoke with a shrug, shoveling more of the Bing-soo into his mouth. "I also love that it's just nothing but strawberries."

"Is that your favorite fruit or flavor?" Daniel asked, curious.

"Yes. I'm a ho for anything strawberry flavored." Alan said with a laugh, only to see Daniel do the same.

"Ok, duly noted." Daniel spoke with a smile. "Also, do you need to be home at a certain time?"

"Not really. But, it is Sunday night, so I should probably get home by 10. Why?"

"Well... I figured we'd get dinner, but to-go. It doesn't have to be here, but we have to get it by 8pm at the latest." Daniel proclaimed.

"Ok, it's about 6:45 now, so we can finish up our homework and then grab something quick. Does that sound good?" Alan stated.

"That works. It's only a 20 minute drive from here anyway. " Daniel replied, eating more of the dessert.

"What is?" Alan asked, confused.

"The surprise."

-

Once 7:45pm came, they packed up their belongings and went to an Asian Fusion bowl place for takeout, before hopping back in Daniel's Lexus and driving off.

"So, next year is your last year..." Alan stated. "Do you know where you are going to college?"

"I'm still figuring it out." Daniel replied as he shifted gears, proceeding to drive up a hill. "My tests are scheduled for winter break, so I'll be doing applications in another month. I also want to see if I get any offers for scholarships as well."

"For academics or soccer?" Alan asked.

"Both would be great. But, we'll see. What about you? Have you started researching?"

"Kinda... I'm still stuck on what I want to major in." Alan confessed with a sigh. "I hate that you have to pick one thing to focus on."

"Well, you could always double major or take on a minor." Daniel offered as he continued to drive.

"That's just extra work." Alan grumbled, hearing Daniel laugh.

"Says the overachieving nerd." Daniel teased, looking over to see Alan playfully stick out his tongue.

"What about you? What are you majoring in?"

"Chemistry. Organic, probably." Daniel stated calmly.

"Doctor?" Alan replied back quickly.

"You know... Asian parents." Daniel spoke with a sigh of his own.

"So I've heard... but, if you could major in whatever you wanted, what would it be?" Alan questioned.

"I would totally major in architecture." Daniel answered quickly.

"Wait... that's what your mom did. Why can't you?"

"Well, my siblings all went towards STEM. My older sister is finishing up undergrad and is going to med school. Brian is majoring in engineering and he's a sophomore right now." Daniel answered.

"What does your dad teach?" Alan asked, curious.

"Biology. My mom is the only one who was more of an arts major. It's been a big deal in the family about what I should major in, but I haven't really fought them on it."

"You should. Don't do STEM because of everyone else. Do what you want. Screw that shit." Alan spoke confidently.

Daniel laughed a bit, glancing over towards him. "I'll take your advice, Moogle. By the way... we're here." he stated, pulling the car up to a flat part of the road on the side of a cement walled lookout.

Having been distracted by their conversation, Alan looked forward, seeing a clear view of the city skyline, the sun setting behind it in the distance. His mouth was wide open as he stared out in awe, admiring the view. "Wow..."

"What do you think?" Daniel asked, pressing a button to cause the roof of his car to collapse behind them slowly, a view of the colorful sky completely visible above them.

"You're good at this." Alan said with a bright smile. "How many people have you wooed like this?" he teased.

"Um... obviously no one. Gay, remember?" Daniel joked, reaching into the backseat to grab their takeout, handing Alan his bowl and a set of utensils.

"So, I'm the first? I'm so... damn flattered... and also don't feel worthy." Alan admitted, somewhat bashful at the realization.

"You're quite worthy, Alan." Daniel answered back cooly, opening his bowl as he did so. "Believe me, I may not look like it, but I am rather selective when it comes to people."

"You are?" Alan replied, surprised.

"I mean, out of everyone in class that day, I picked you." Daniel spoke with a smile.

"That was before you knew I was hot without glasses." Alan teased, hearing Daniel laugh.

"You looked sensible and non-threatening to me. I mean, you were the only one sitting there while everyone else was trying to find and kill me."

"Good point..." Alan replied with a grin as he began to eat his meal.

"Finding out you were more attractive was a bonus." Daniel admitted, looking over to see Alan put food in his mouth, his face turning red not too long after.

They continued their dinner as the sun set slowly in front of them, the city beginning to light up below as time progressed. They had random conversations about each other as they did so, speaking on many topics. By 9pm, the sun had fully set and the city was shining brightly. Daniel allowed the top to come back up as the air grew colder.

"I'll turn on the heat. I guess fall is fully here..." he stated, pressing buttons on the console of the car.

"Glad I brought a jacket..." Alan spoke with a slight shiver as he watched the roof cover them completely.

"Sorry... i didn't think it would be this cold tonight. You alright?"

"I think so... why? You gonna keep me warm?" Alan teased as he pulled his jacket on.

"Is that a request?" Daniel teased back, a playful smile on his face.

"What do I get if I say yes?" Alan shot back, returning the smile in a similar fashion.

"What do you want?" Daniel asked, a smirk slowly appearing on his face.

Alan wasn't expecting that, his face heating up in embarrassment. He laughed, looking away as he did so. "Ok, you win. That battle went further than I thought it would..."

"I... I was serious." Daniel answered, staring back at him calmly.

Alan looked over at Daniel fully, unsure if he actually heard him right. For several seconds, they had locked eyes, staring at each other in silence, waiting for the other one to make the next move.

Blinking, as Alan seemed to be coming back to his senses, he opened his mouth to speak, but then closed it just as quickly, somewhat nervous.

"What... do you want, Alan?" Daniel asked softly, watching Alan intensely.

Alan took a slow inhale of breath, his heartbeat increasing in his chest as he tried to piece together the words in his mind.

"... kiss me." Alan finally spoke, his voice barely above a whisper.

Without any hesitation, Daniel reached over and pulled Alan into a kiss, their lips locked together seamlessly. His mind had gone completely blank at the contact, his body still as he let Daniel lead. He actually began to feel Daniel pull away, before he reached up with both hands to pull him back in. After that, it was a blur; their hands were grasping onto each other's hair, wrapping and grabbing at waists, shoulders, shirts underneath jackets. The only time their lips unlocked was to allow each other to breath before continuing their feverish kissing session.

But it wasn't until Alan, without really thinking about it, lightly ran his tongue against Daniel's lips did things become unbearable. Daniel grabbed the back of Alan's head and drew him in completely, allowing their tongues to entwine with each other.

I'm gonna fucking pass out... It's so damn hot... Fuck, he's so damn hot right now... I can't breathe...

Alan pulled back reluctantly, with a gasp, his face flushed red as he leaned back slightly to breathe properly. "Sorry... I... couldn't..." he forced out between breaths.

Unexpectedly, Daniel leaned forward and placed several kisses along Alan's neck, sending an immediate shiver through Alan's entire body as he was still trying to catch his breath, before he actually sucked against the skin.

The sound Alan emitted surprised himself as he grabbed onto Daniel's back immediately. His breath was lost entirely as he gasped and panted almost uncontrollably as Daniel continued relentlessly against the nape of his neck. His eyes closed tightly at the wave of sensations his entire body was feeling all at once, his body shaking madly as he was actually breaking into a sweat.

"D-Daniel... it's... hot..." Alan forced out in-between pants and soft moans.

As if he was completely lost in what he was doing, Daniel stopped and pulled back carefully, looking up at Alan as he did so. "It's hot? Are you-" he stopped speaking once he caught sight of Alan's incredibly flushed face, disheveled hair, half lidded eyes and swollen lips. He was at a loss for words as he stared at him, his own face going completely red before he pulled back entirely, but in a gentle fashion.

Alan, having been trying to recover in that brief moment, watched him in confusion. "S-sorry... did I... ruin it?" he asked, worried.

"NO! No... it-it's not that... um..." Daniel looked away entirely, his face getting redder by the second. "We should... probably stop."

"W-Why?" Alan asked, unsure of what happened.

"Because if we don't... I'm going to do more than just stuck my tongue in your mouth..." Daniel admitted, covering his mouth with a palm slightly, not able to look Alan in the face.

Alan's face went 3 shades redder at that statement. "O-O-Ok..."

I MEAN... I'm not gonna STOP YOU if you DO!

"Not that I don't want to!" Daniel added quickly, embarrassed. "But... um... maybe we should... pace ourselves... is that... ok?" he asked, looking over towards Alan fully.

"Of course! I'm ok with that! Really!" Alan quickly replied, just as bashful.

"OK... I'm glad..." Daniel spoke, a bashful smile coming to his face.

Alan couldn't help but do the same, considering what had all transpired just a few seconds prior.

"It's late... I'll drive you back home." Daniel stated, adjusting in his seat as he did so before putting on his seatbelt. Alan turned to do the same, glancing up to look at the rearview mirror, catching himself in it.

Shit... I looked WRECKED. But... in a I-just-made-out-and-it-was-fucking-amazing way...

He began to adjust himself and clothes, before he caught sight of a rather large red mark on his neck. His eyes grew wide at the sight, grabbing onto it as he did so.

"DANIEL.... You left a big ass red MARK on my NECK."

Daniel stopped what he was doing and looked over immediately, grabbing Alan's hand and moving it away. "Oh...shit..." he spoke, shocked.

"How the hell am I supposed to hide this from my parents?" Alan spoke, baffled.

"Uh... zip up your jacket all the way?" Daniel offered, an embarrassed smile on his face.

Alan stared back at him, his face bright red.

"I'm sorry... I got... um... carried away." Daniel spoke, regretfully as he held onto Alan's hand.

Alan looked at him, letting out a soft sigh, before a small smile came to his face. "Hope you marking me was worth it." he stated, the smile slowly forming into a grin.

Daniel looked up at him, a smile of his own coming to his face. "Totally worth it."
