《My Best Friend Is Straight》The Party Manfred

I swore loudly when the line went dead. The others stopped their antics and stared at me. Erion was the first one to speak, worried about what might be going on.
"What is it Manny?" he asked, I didn't bother answering. Instead I shoved my phone into my back pocket, grabbed the car keys from the counter and bolted out of the door.
The chilly air was creating small puffs of white air when I came outside, and my car was cold as ice. I didn't have the time to care, and sat down on the seat with a hiss. I jabbed the key in, and started the engine. Before I could back out of the parking lot, all doors opened. Odd sat down in the passenger seat. The others crammed in the back, poor Sam laying on top of them. Odd slammed the door shut and stared peculiarly at me.
"What are you waiting for you imbecile? Drive!" he didn't have to tell me twice.
As soon as I turned the corner of the block, Robert asked me what had happened.
"Something is happening to Lucas. I heard him gasp, and someone else talking before the line went dead. I think it might be Joseph," I said doggedly. I heard him gasp in response. The car ride toward Eric's house was quiet, the air tense. Luckily, Eric didn't live far away, although it was about ten minutes with car. And maybe ten minutes were enough to get Lucas hurt.
I sigh of relief escaped my lips when Eric's house came into vision, barely seven minutes after we had left our own party. Yes, I might have broken a law or two, but Lucas safety was more important to me, and The Misfits, than the mere law.
The car was soon parked, and we all ran up to the house, slamming the door open, no one reacted. Which might be because of the booming music, too loud to even hear your own thoughts.
"Shit! We must find Eric!" I shouted over the music, the rest nodded in agreement. Odd pushed back his sleeves, looking mischievous as always.
"I have an idea," he declared.
A minute later Sean and I was on a mission to find Eric. Odd hadn't told us his idea, but apparently it involved everyone but us. I elbowed my way through the mass of people, earning several glares and shouts of anger. Sean followed behind me like a ghost, quiet and sort of invisible, trying not to trip over his own feet, nor others. Impatience heated my blood. We did not have time to look for Eric! A sudden idea hit me, and I changed direction. Sean mumbled something behind me, sounding an awful lot like 'don't do anything stupid Manfred'. I wasn't about to do something 'stupid' I was about to save Lucas' ass. Finally I laid my eyes on the object of my idea. The speakers.
I stalked up to the guy handling them, snatching his phone. He gaped at me, about to say something through his lips that were covered with small patches of hair. Fucking fucknut. I glared at him and he immediately shut his mouth. I yanked the phone out of the speakers, the music coming to an abrupt stop. Not that I would complain. Shit taste in music really. I inhaled deeply, barely seeing the panic in Sean's eyes as I let all air out in one, simple, yell.
"ERIC YOU FUCKWARD COME FORWARD!" I yelled, and lo and behold, it didn't take five seconds for him to appear between shithead 1 and shithead 2. He was red, probably from embarrassment. How cute. I smiled innocently at him, handing over the phone to fucknut and letting him control the music again. It didn't take long before the party was in full action once again. I roughly grabbed Eric's arm, Sean standing slightly behind me.

"Where is your room?" I shouted over the music.
"My room?" he asked, confused. "Why would you-" Fear spread like a forest fire in Mexico in his features as he realised why we were there. He spun around, not bothering dragging us with him and bolted to the stairs at the other side of the room. Sean and I not far behind.
Eric stood outside a door in the end of the hall. Tugging unsuccessfully on the handle.
"Shit!" he muttered, banging hard on the door. "Lucas? LUCAS? Are you there? Open up!"
"That won't fucking work!" I grumbled, shoving him to the side. I banged on the door, louder. "Joseph? Do you hear me you waste of space?" I yelled through the door, Eric paling beside me. He doesn't know about Joseph's antics. "If you fucking dare hurt Lucas you, better pray to God, Satan and fucking Priapus that I don't rip your dick off!"
Sean sneaked up beside me, gesturing to a couple of bobby-pins laying in his hands. I stepped aside, letting him pick the lock. It was a slow process, but the door was locked and Eric didn't seem to have another key. A loud crash from inside the room startled us all. Eric became erratic.
"LUCAS!" was all he yelled before pushing Sean to the ground, and began using his whole body as a ram. Over and over he slammed into the door. I could only watch as his shoulder slowly became red from the force. Suddenly the door flew open, or rather, it broke from its hinges. Eric stumbled inside, but froze at the sight in front of him. Sean and I pushed past him, coming to stand next to him. I saw red.
On the bed, beaten and bloody, was Lucas. He was stark naked, angry scratch marks covering his whole back. Some of them were bleeding. Above him was Joseph, pants down to his ankles, dick in his hand. Lucas was laying face down, and if it wasn't for the small shakes of his shoulders, I would have thought that he was dead. The tip of Joseph was poking Lucas' bum. I barely noticed how Eric disappeared from my side. However, I did notice how the window had a large hole in it.
Eric grabbed Joseph by his collar, ripping him away from Lucas and down to the floor. I wasted no time to rush to Lucas' side. An ugly tie was tied around his wrists, so hard that his hands were turning gray. Panic struck me and I quickly untied him. Somehow he reacted faster than me. Pain erupted in the left side of my face, my head whipping around from the impact. I gathered myself quickly though, looking down on Lucas' face. His eyes were blown wide, red-rimmed and swollen from tears, blood was running down his nose, dying the gag in his mouth red. That was the next thing to be burnt. I carefully let the piece of cloth slip out of his mouth, worried that it had hurt him. When his eyes became focused, new tears welled up in his eyes.
"Ma-manny?" he croaked out. I smiled at him, pulling my hoodie over my head, giving it to him. When he didn't make any move to accept it, I carefully helped him slip it over his head, guiding his arms through the holes.
"Oh, Luke," I cooed and brought him into my arms. "Everything is going to be fine. So, shhh. I'm here Luke, no one will hurt you. Eric is here too, he would never let anybody hurt you, would he?" a small shake of his head was enough to calm my mother hen nerves. If only a little.

Lucas was shivering violently, maybe because of the broken window... speaking of that, I looked over to it. Sean was standing in front of it, gaping. Suddenly a person tumbled in, the blue mop of hair giving away the identity.
"Where is the motherfucker?" he shouted, I realised that he must have seen the rape attempt, maybe even the abuse. I glanced to the side, to where Eric had thrown Joseph. It barely looked humane. Eric was straddling Joseph, punching him rapidly. Joseph's face was barely recognizable under all blood, as which Eric's fists were covered in. Odd noticed me, and Lucas in my embrace and hurried towards me. From outside the window I heard more shouts. Odd's "idea" slowly dawned on me. I would bet my left testicle that the others were on each other's shoulders, letting Odd climb to the window.
As Odd sat down next to me, I let him handle Lucas as I stood up. I needed to stop Eric. He was still punching Joseph when I approached them. I tried to be civil.
"Eric stop it," I said. "You're going to kill him." Eric didn't seem to even notice my presence. His arm bent back once again, fist balling up tightly, eyes ablaze. I sighed and grabbed ahold of his arm. He did not like that. With the force of a muscular, American football player, he elbowed me in my stomach, making me stumble back a couple of steps. I didn't let go of his arm, though. Ignoring the nauseous feeling from the hit, I kneeled down next to him.
Eric was panting heavily, I noticed several trails of tears running down his face. Sighing, I used force to lower his arm to his side. He stared at me, opening his mouth to speak, but no sound escaping his lips.
"Lucas needs you," I whispered, his eyes widening in realisation. Slowly he rose to his feet and sprinted to Lucas, still sat on the bed. I changed my focus towards the mess of a person in front of me. With a short evaluation, I decided that his nose must be broken, and he might have lost some teeth. That didn't bode well for Eric. And right now Lucas needed Eric. I sighed, not believing I was about to do this.
"Listen here you dickhead," I began, grabbing his chin so that he was looking at me instead of the floor. "If you don't take your fucking punishment like a decent human being... I'll literally rip your balls off, and shove them down your throat." I glared evilly at him, boring my eyes into his large, scared ones. "You're damn lucky that I won't do it right here and now, seeing as your dick is still out in the open. You've hurt one of my friends, you hear? You even looking at him should earn you a busted nut or two, but now I'm feeling kind. If you don't confess, every. Single. Thing. When the police arrive, I'll personally make sure that your dick will never work again. Kapisch?" he nodded solemnly. I let go of his face, standing up. Soft sobs were heard from the bed, Sean and Odd standing awkwardly by the destroyed door.
I glanced at Lucas. He was engulfed in a hug by Eric. Both of them crying and sobbing loudly. I sighed and grabbed Joseph under his armpits, carrying him out of the room. Not with ease of course, he was a tall and heavy built dude. Odd and Sean followed me, and we were met by the rest of the gang outside the bedroom door. They all cast evil glared at Joseph, who was now bleeding heavily on my shoulder. I groaned and turned around, stalking down the hall, still with the dickhead on my shoulder.
The Misfits protested loudly as I kicked open the bathroom door, the music downstairs seeming to have quieted down. I basically threw Joseph onto the toilet seat. He was quiet, staring blankly in front of him. I guess he finally realised how deep in shit he was.
The medicine cabinet was basically empty, but I managed to find some plaster as well as some rubbing alcohol. I crouched down in front of Joseph and began cleaning his wounds. He flinched as I rubbed in the alcohol, but didn't say anything. I could feel the stares from The Misfits behind me. They probably wondered why I bothered with this douche. Well, I might have hated this asshole with all my heart, but that didn't mean that I would let him bleed all over the nice carpets! Also, it felt as if I had the responsibility to not let this get out of hand.
The wounds didn't look as bad as one would think, they weren't cut very deep, but they were bleeding a lot. Eyebrow wounds often bled more as you might know. As soon as I was finished I heard shouts from downstairs.
"HOLY FUCK! IT'S THE COPS!" someone yelled, whereas multiple shouts chimed in. I stopped focusing as the loud tone of the doorbell rang through the house.
Robert mumbled something about opening, disappearing from the doorframe. The others soon followed suit. I was left alone with Joseph. He looked miserable; bloody, beaten and staring at the wall with empty eyes. I couldn't hold myself back from asking.
"Why did you do it?" several footsteps were heard from the stairs. Joseph didn't seem to notice. He only swallowed thickly.
"I-I'm in love with him," he whispered. I snorted, leaning against the wall in front of him. Spreading my legs on the floor.
"You got a really shit way of expressing your love," I deadpanned, he let out a humourless laugh. It didn't look like he was about to differ, although if he was, the police cut him off.
They appeared in the doorway, about three of them. Two men and one woman. I raised to my feet, saluting them, before slipping past them. One of the men stayed outside as the other two walked inside the bathroom to grab Joseph. The officer stopped me from walking downstairs.
"I'm officer Parks. Uhm, I take it as if you're the host of this party?" he asked, I said nothing, only shook my head. He seemed slightly thrown off by this, but continued as if he wasn't. "Could you take me to the host then?"
"I can, but at the moment he is comforting Lucas," I answered lightly. Parks nodded, scribbling something down on his small notepad.
"Lucas is the rape victim, correct?" he said neutrally. I glared at him.
"Attempted rape victim. He didn't get all the way," I corrected, nodding towards Joseph, that were now hauled to his feet by the two other officers. Parks nodded again, scribbling on his paper.
"Could I talk with you then?" he asked me. I nodded and leaned against the wall, glancing toward Eric's room. "First I need your name, age and relationship with the victim."
"Manfred Lidor, 18, close friend, in that order," I answered.
"Could you walk me through the events of tonight?"
"Around half past one I got a call from Lucas. I was at another party a few blocks away. Everything was fine, his crush had shown him that he felt the same," I smiled when I thought of the excitement in Lucas' voice when he had called, immediately grimacing when the rest of the events continued. Parks scribbled on his paper, barely lifting the pencil. "The line went dead after a couple of minutes, but before that I heard a voice that wasn't Lucas' and a gasp. It was quite obvious that something was wrong. My friends and I jumped into my car and then I drove here as fast as possible."
"You drove here?" Officer Parks inquired in disbelief. I smiled at his face, crossing my arms over my chest, maybe I looked like a brat, maybe I didn't care.
"Don't worry. I was sober, I don't drink," I explained. He nodded, seemingly still not believing me.
"Then I suspect that you wouldn't say no to a drug test?" he asked with raised eyebrows. I scoffed.
"Nope," was the answer I gave him, popping the 'p'. He nodded and scribbled some more into the notepad.
"What happened then?"
"We found Eric, the host, and ran upstairs to his room where Lucas was. After hearing a crash from inside Eric managed to break open the door... We found them on the bed," I gritted my teeth. "Lucas was naked and bound, he was wounded, not severely, but enough to be bleeding. Joseph had his... genitals pressed against Lucas' butt, but Eric ripped him off of him before an penetration took place." I choked out the last words, staring at the floor.
"And the broken window?"
"Uhm, I think you'll have to ask Odd about that," I muttered. I wasn't about to explain his antics. The officer lifted an eyebrow.
"Odd?" he inquired. My head snapped up to meet his eyes, he looked perplexed.
"Sorry, it's a nickname. Max, it's the blue haired dude."
Officer Parks nodded as he closed the notepad. After making me take the blow-test, he made his way down the hall, towards Odd. When he disappeared down the stairs, I walked to Eric's room once again. Standing outside of the door I peeked inside. They were still curled together on the bed, although the sobbing had subsided. I sighed.
This was going to be a long New Years.
