"Pack your bags."

Lisa looks up from whatever she was doing, "What?"

"Tch." Jennie clicks her tongue, "Don't make me repeat what I said."

Lisa cleans her ear to make sure she heard Jennie right, "Pack my bags? Why? Am I finally free?"

Jennie stares at her, expressionless, "No. Don't get your hopes too high. You haven't even made it halfway the amount yet."

Lisa loudly sighs to intentionally infuriate Jennie.

"Don't give me that." Jennie starts to throw Lisa her clothes from the cabinet, "Pack your things already."

"Uhmm, where am I going?" Lisa walks to Jennie as she catches her clothes.

Jennie only continues to mutter things as she takes almost everything out of Lisa's dresser, "Eww. You should totally throw this away."

Lisa could only watch as Jennie mocks and insults her wardrobe.

"This one, too."

"Also this one."

"Ugh! Lisa! What are you a fifth grader?!"

"MAY I ASK WHERE I'M GOING?" Lisa asks with wide-open eyes.

Jennie at long last looks at Lisa, "What do you mean 'I'm'?" She passes one last piece of clothing to Lisa, "We're going."

"And where are we going?" Lisa takes one last step to Jennie.

Jennie stares at Lisa first before finally saying,

"Anyang."

----------------

"Mind telling me why are we going to your hometown?" Lisa unpacks every single one of her things that Jennie is packing in a suitcase, "And why should I go with you?"

Jennie bites her lower lip in obvious frustration as Lisa takes everything that Jennie puts in the case, "Dad called me and told me we'll have this stupid family reunion in our place. Now, put your things back in the goddamn case!"

Lisa stops Jennie from packing by holding her wrist, "And why am I in the picture?"

"Well who else will go with me and tend to me?!" Jennie says it like it's the most mundane thing in the world.

"You'll just enslave me there?!"

"It's your job!"

"You're unbelievable!"

"Deal with it!"

"Jennie!"

"Lisa!!"

Lisa lets go of Jennie's hand as the former lets out another sigh, "Why are you even packing a lot?! Just how long will we stay there?!"

"About a week." Jennie shrugs.

"A week?!" Lisa's eyes are as wide as her mouth, "We'll be gone for a whole week?! What about school?!"

"It's only a week! Not like we'll miss the whole school year!" Jennie explains it fast, "Besides, there's a holiday on Friday and then there's just school activities on Wednesday to Thursday. We won't miss much."

"You're crazy if you think I'm going." Lisa shakes her head in disbelief.

"Well you're crazy if you don't think you're going." Jennie snaps back, "Not only will you tend to me there," Jennie looks at Lisa again,

"My parents ask you to be there."

--------------------

"Shit, I'm nervous of what your parents will tell me." Lisa quickly packs her things with Jennie, "Did they find out about me being lax with your curfew? Did they find out about me answering back at you? Holy shit, Jennie! Why would you even tell your parents I called you a 'bitch'?!" Lisa asks frantically.

"Calm down, you stupid monkey!" Jennie slaps Lisa's arm to at least bring Lisa back to sanity, "My parents just wanted to see you! To see how we're doing! God, Lisa! How dense can you get?" A chuckle escapes Jennie's lips as a sigh of relief escapes from Lisas.

"O-Oh, why didn't you tell it sooner?" Lisa feels like a thorn just has been taken from her.

"I kind of wanted to see you panic." Jennie smirks.

Lisa stares at a grinning Jennie as she says, "You're such an asshole, Manoban."

----------------------

"I'll just tell my father that I'll be going with you to Anyang." Lisa takes her phone from her pocket and starts to dial her father's number.

"Hey, Dad! I'll be accompanying Jennie-" Lisa stops which made Jennie look at her direction, "-Ms. Kim to Anyang."

Lisa grits her teeth in disgust as Jennie softly laughs.

"Yes, Dad. I'll be fine." Lisa nods, like her father will be able to see it, "We'll be fine, I guess. I hope."

Lisa laughs heartedly, "Okay, Dad. I will. And yes, I will try my best not to strangle Ms. Kim." That gained her a smack from Jennie.

Lisa giggles as she rubs her hit arm, "Alright, Dad. See you soon. Love you, too."

She hangs up.

"Aww, Baby monkey misses Papa monkey?" Jennie coos.

"Get off my family, Jennie." Lisa playfully pushes Jennie.

"Don't you mean 'Ms. Kim'?" Jennie jeers.

"Shut up, Jennie." Lisa continues to lightly push and pull Jennie.

"Stop it." Jennie chuckles as she slaps Lisa's hands off her, "Let's finish packing. I'll tell the driver to get the car ready."

-------------------

"Are we there yet?" Lisa tugs Jennie, who has her sunglasses on, her arms crossed and her head facing the window.

Maybe Lisa is really just thick, or she just really wanted to annoy Jennie more, because she knows that Jennie is sleeping and yet she still wakes the princess up.

She hears Jennie groan, "What do you want, you peasant?! Can't you see I'm sleeping?!"

"I know. That's why I woke you up." Lisa doesn't know the joy from pissing Jennie off, but it must be a lot because she does it every time, "How long will it still take us to get there?"

Jennie looks at her wristwatch, "It's a four-hour drive, 2 more hours before we get there." Jennie goes back to her position, "Why don't you go to sleep? You're good at that, right?"

"Tch," Jennie scratches the back of her head, "Fine."

--------------------

Lisa is known for sleeping a lot and sleeping too much. One will take a hard time waking her up from her deep slumber, and Lisa knows too well. There are different things one can do to wake Lisa up, so imagine her surprise when Lisa wakes up to see Jennie on her face.

When Lisa was able to adjust to what was happening, she starts to feel her face gets red and her heart beats fast.

"Jesus! Get away from me!" Lisa quickly shoves Jennie back to the latter's side of the car. Lisa breathes fast to maintain oxygen that she knows she lost just by thinking of Jennie's face so close to hers, "What are you even doing?!"

Jennie rubs her shoulder where the car seat hit, Lisa was almost about to apologize when she sees Jennie stroking it, "Don't assume anything perverted, Manoban. I was trying to wake you up for the past 5 minutes and you still sleep like a log. I instantly thought you were dead."

"Waking me up?! That close?!"

"I was trying to breathe on your nose!" Jennie casually says.

Which made Lisa frown and burrow her eyebrows, then after a brief second of silence, Lisa says, "What is wrong with you?!"

She was trying so hard not to laugh at Jennie's stupidity at times, but just like the expiration date of Lisa's favourite food, it's inevitable.

Lisa was already laughing out loud, "Seriously Jennie! I thought you're smart!"

"I tried a lot of things already!" Jennie smacks Lisa's arm again, "I tried punching you, pinching you, breathing on your ear, opening your eyes, poking my foot on your mouth. Everything!"

"You could have just held my nose so I could hold my breath!" Lisa keeps on laughing until, "Wait," Lisa's eyebrows meet once again, "You put your foot on my mouth?!"

That's when the laughing out loud was passed to Jennie.

--------------------

"Why did you even wake me up?" Lisa stretches in the car. She notices that the car has stopped, "Are we here already?"

"No, not yet." Jennie takes her purse, "I want to eat."

"What? Can't buy your own food?"

"Shut up," Jennie says sassily, "Aren't you hungry?"

"I was sleeping."

"And I want to eat."

Lisa only closes her eyes at the pointless arguments Jennie initiates, "You want me to go buy with you, don't you?"

Jennie's sharp eyes then turn into timid ones as she sheepishly says, "... Yes."

Lisa sighs, but she can't hide the smile already forming on her lips.

----------------------

"Alright!" Lisa opens the car door for Jennie, "How far are we still from your planet?"

Jennie waits for Lisa to get in the car before replying, "1 more hour."

"Yes!" Lisa positions herself to taking a nap again, "Can't wait to tell your father about your attitude." She snickers.

"Can't wait to tell my father to whoop your ass."

"He'll whoop your ass."

"I'll whoop your ass."

Lisa narrows her eyes, "I'll whoop your ass."

"I'll whoop your face."

"Your ass is your face."

Lisa victoriously looks at an open-mouthed Jennie, who can't think of anything else to say back.

"I-I," Jennie blinks rapidly as she stutters, "Y-Your, w-well,"

Lisa's laugh is in her throat already, just waiting to be released.

She can see Jennie still thinking on how to make a comeback, and Lisa finally loses it and starts laughing again when Jennie was only able to come up with,

"I hate you so much!!"

---------------------

Lisa remembers swimming in a nice beach. She remembers having to make different strokes as she gleefully swims back and forth. But then when she was about to swim back to the shore, she suddenly felt like choking. She was drowning; she was kicking and punching the water, fighting for her breath, for her life.

Then maybe what other people say is real. That when you are about to die, your life will flash before you, and the memories that you cherish will play.

And Lisa doesn't get it because the very first one that comes to her mind is no one but the main source of her anguish, Jennie.

I really am going to hell, aren't I?

And just when I thought I'll finally get rid of her, she still follows me to hell.

Lisa smiles at the thought.

Damn it, Jennie.

Just when she was about to accept her fate and welcome death does she finally opens her eyes to wake up to Jennie holding both Lisa's nose and mouth.

"Jennie!!!" Lisa breathes hard and fast once she was able to get Jennie off her, "What the hell were you doing?!!"

Jennie feigns innocence, "You told me to wake you up by letting me hold your breath!"

Lisa continues to puff air, "What?! I told you to hold my nose! Were you trying to actually kill me?!"

Jennie covers her mouth as she laughingly says, "That's the whole plan."

"Ah, you jerk." Lisa breathes normally, "I thought I was going to die for real."

"Really?" Jennie scoots closer to Lisa, "I was that close to fulfilling my dream?" She smiles.

Lisa only stares back at her, her own smile appearing on her lips, "You really are a jerk."

"Yes, I am." Jennie adjusts herself sideways so she'll be facing Lisa, resting her elbow to the seat's edge, with her hand supporting her head.

"Don't you ever scare me like that again." Lisa closes her eyes. "I thought I was really dying. It was horrible."

"Should I feel sorry?" Lisa doesn't see Jennie talking, but she can hear the sarcasm in the older girl's voice.

"No, you should feel bad and guilty."

"But it was fun." Jennie continues, "You were flailing your hands and feet. I was actually having a good laugh myself."

Lisa opens her eyes again to see Jennie still smiling, still in that position.

Lisa was about to say something again when the setting sun decides to lend its ray and light up at Jennie, and Lisa could swear that in that tiny second, that Jennie is more beautiful than any sunset and sunrise in the world.
