"Hai tradito tuo fratello! Hai tradito lo tuno famigilia! Ci hai quasi costato tutto!" (You betrayed your brother! You betrayed your family! You almost cost us everything!) My father yelled between blows to Giovanni's face.

I cleared my throat, making our presence known. My father and Marco quickly turned around and looked at me and Zophisa.

"Look who finally showed up," Giovanni spat, "The prince was too good to be on time?"

"Son of a-," Marco started, cocking his fist back.

"Marco," I stopped him, holding my hand up. "Leave us," I said to everyone in the room.

Everyone started to leave the room, as they were leaving my father stopped in front of Zophisa who had wandered off to the weapon wall. He held his hand out to help her off of the table she was sitting on.

"He wasn't talking to me," she said, not looking up from the uzi she was loading and unloading repeatedly. I just nodded at him when he looked at me and he walked out.

I turned to look at my brother before speaking, "I am not interested in hearing your villain speech-."

"And I'm not interested in hearing your hero speech," he cut me off.

"You know there's no heroes here," I said to him. There was a long silence. Giovanni and I started at each other the entire time. His lumpy, bruised face almost unrecognizable as he tried to kill me with his eyes.

"What did my father tell you about me?" Zophisa asked from her seat on the table.

"I did not ask about you. I did not care if you got burned in the crossfire," he said bitterly. She got down from the table and grabbed her purse. She walked over to us and pulled a can of hairspray out of her bag along with a lighter.

"You should've," she said before flicking the lighter and spraying the hairspray, setting Giovanni's hair on fire. She pulled out a cigarette and lit it using the fire.

My father and Marco walked into the room that was filled with smoke, the smell of cigarettes, and Giovanni's screams. Two men came in behind them holding a tub of water. They sat the tub behind Giovanni and I walked up to his chair and tipped it backward, dunking his head in the tub. I left him in there as he thrashed around. I pulled him back up after a minute. He gasped for air before he started to scream in pain.

"Oh!" My father exclaimed, "I got something for my new daughter in law."

"Little old me?" She asked, blowing out cigarette smoke. "You shouldn't have." She used Giovanni's head to put her cigarette out before dropping it on the ground.

"These are for you," he said, passing me a box that was handed to him. I turned to her and opened the box and she gasped.

"Brass knuckles?" She exclaimed "These are illegal in New York."

I glanced down at them before speaking, "They match mine." She looked me in the eye with a small smile.

I took them out of the box and slid them on her hands. She gripped them a few times before smiling.

"I love them. Thank you Giovanni," she said to my father. He gave her a slight nod with a small smile before walking behind Giovanni's chair.

"My oldest son," He said, slapping his hands down on Giovanni's shoulders, making him jump, "My junior. How dare you become my biggest disappointment twice?"

"I'm sorry," he sobbed.

"Come, scuso? No ti dispiace. Non ancoro," (Sorry? You're not sorry. Not yet.) my father said lowly.

"You are a sorry excuse for a father, son, husband, and brother," Marco spat.

"Forgive me," he pleaded, looking up at me. I looked over to Zophisa who was already staring at me.

"I want his words to hurt him as much as they hurt us," I said to her. She walked over to him and gripped her brass knuckles before cocking her fist back and punching him in the jaw with as much force as possible, making his jaw crack.

"Why are you doing this? I did nothing to you!" he tried to scream at Zophisa.

"You did this to yourself," she snapped, "You made a deal with a dead man and ended up in the plot next to him. His life was never his, it was mine. He didn't gamble his life, he gambled yours. And you were stupid enough to fall for it."

"How was I supposed to know?" He asked, his jaw making every word unrecognizable.

"Ask any living person who knows him," she answered with a scoff.

"This is why you would never be able to take my place," I said, stepping forward, "You are pathetic. You do not know anything about anything. You let a woman make you surrender something you worked your entire life for. You disappointed our father and had the COURAGE to try to cross ME. Me, who you could not even beat it combatant training."

He dropped his head in shame.

"Now look at you," I continued, "No family and no title. You spent God knows how long trying to get rid of me only for me to come out on top once again."

"My children," he said lowly.

"Don't worry," my father spoke up, "They will be sent somewhere far away where they will not be a threat. They will be watched all day every day for the rest of their lives. Hopefully that pacifist wife of yours keeps them calm."

"What should we do with him?" Marco asked, looking at Giovanni with disgust.

"I have a suggestion," Zophisa said with a smirk, "My brothers and I believe a person's punishment should be a little pun on their crime. They steal, chop their hands off. He's a snake."

"Where are we going to get snakes?" I asked her.

"I might have got excited about the idea of y'all not catching him in time," she said with a shy chuckle.

"Santiago?" I asked. She just nodded with a goofy smile as she typed on her phone.

"They're actually outside," she said. I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "I trust you, for real babe I do. But this could've been one big ass set up and that's a dub."

I didn't understand half of what she said but as soon as she said it a man walked in with a big box.

"He's very hungry. So when I open this box he'll pounce on the first thing he sees. I advise you to get out of here boss," the man said to Zophisa. She nodded as she bent down to pick up her cigarette and we all walked out of the room.

Once we were in the hallway my father spoke up, "There are cameras in the other room. We can watch if you would like."

"No I hate snakes," she said, handing me her coat to help her put on. (A/N: I was going to put a scene in there where they watch they snake tear him up but I didn't wanna give myself or anybody else the crawlies)

"We're going to go," I said after her coat was on. I put my hand on the small of her back and we walked out of the building.
