"It's so nice in here Nana!" Naala said walking through Taina's new apartment. Taina had recently moved and had planned a housewarming with a few friends and family to show off her new spot.

She had been meaning to move out for ages but after Mexico and in the search of a new start, Taina thought now was the perfect time to make the step.

"I love how bright it is," Naala said admiring the house, "It's perfect for you," She added,

"Thank you baby, it's small but I love it," Taina shrugged,

Naala looked over her shoulder, "It's big enough,"

"Wait stay right there, and smile," Taina said grabbing her phone,

"No," Naala whined, "I look fat and ugly,"

"Girl," Taina said with a straight face, "Just smile," She added. Naala did as she was told and smiled over her shoulder,

"See," Taina said showing her the photo, "Beautiful,"

Naala smiled, "Wow you can't even tell I'm pregnant," She said as she looked over the photo,

"I'm good at what I do," Taina laughed, "You should post that," She spoke walking over to the refrigerator,

"I might do," Naala mumbled, she had been quiet on social media recently.

"Would you like a drink," Taina asked as she got herself out a soda,

Naala nodded her head, "A water please," She asked taking a seat at the island,

Taina handed her the bottle of water and some baby carrots with dip,

"You know me so well," Naala smiled picking up a carrot,

"You okay Pooh?" Taina questioned, "I haven't spoken to you since - you know what," She said trying not to drag up old memories,

"I'm getting there, just focused on having a stress free pregnancy. It's been really hard for Sinai going back and forth but-" Naala was cut off by a males voice,

"Big La," Taina's cousin Gray's voice boomed through the kitchen.

"Teddy!" Naala giggled standing up to hug him, "My cuddle buddy, how've you been?" Teddy was a nickname that Naala gave Gray because he was literally like a cuddly teddy bear,

"I've been missing my baby bear," Gray flirted, hugging her tightly,

"Mmm, I bet you have," Naala replied, "Taina told me about your little girlfriend," Naala added pulling away,

"She also told me about your little boyfriend," He replied quickly his eyes travelling down to her stomach.

"Why's he gotta be little?" Naala said blindly defending Dave,

"My girlfriend was little," Gray laughed,

"Whatever," Naala laughed, it felt good to interact with an old friend.

"Can y'all stop flirting?" Taina said with a disgusted expression bringing out ingredients to make nachos. Gray and Naala had a very flirtatious relationship but neither had ever acted on it.

Gray rolled his eyes and took a seat next to Naala, "You're new nigga treating you good?" He asked looking her up and down. Even in pregnancy, Naala's beauty was breathtaking, the pregnancy added an extra glow.

Naala shrugged, "It's complicated," She spoke playing with her water bottle.

"I asked if he's treating you good not about the status of y'all relationship," Gray replied smartly,

Naala laughed, "Again it's complicated,"

Taina scoffed, "There is no complications, he's bad news," she said. Naala frowned slightly, she didn't like how comfortable Taina was to talk about Dave.

"Not too much on my baby daddy," Naala muttered,

"Oh he got it like that," Gray said to Naala, "You didn't even protect that light skin like this," He said referring to Darnell.

"Right," Taina laughed, "Anyway this is a baby daddy free zone," She said pulling out the cheese. "Damn, I need more cheese, G can you get me some please?" Taina said with a pout,

Gray sucked his teeth, "La you wanna ride?" He asked standing to his feet,

"Ride what?" Naala asked tilting her head,

"Ew Naala what the fuck!" Taina shouted. Gray just laughed and bit his lip,

"You still pregnant lil baby," He laughed,

"So dramatic," Naala said rolling her eyes jokingly at Taina, "Yeah I'll come," she said hopping off the stool.

"Get the good kind not that cheap shit," Taina said following behind them,

"Text me anything else you need," Gray said as he opened the front door, letting Naala walk first.

"Damn," He mumbled as her ass jiggled with every step,

"Stop being a creep," Naala said over her shoulder,

"You're making it hard," Gray said shaking his head, he had always had a crush on Naala but for someone reason they never really took it further enough.

Gray opened his car door for her to slide in,

"My dream car," Naala said as she appreciated the interior of the car. It was an all black G-Wagon,

"Your small ass wouldn't even be able to see over the wheel," Gray laughed as he started the car,

"Y'all love to call me small," Naala whined, "I'm Big La, the fuck," She said rolling her neck,

"Attitude hasn't changed then," Gray said licking his lips and looking over at her. Naala's cheeks got hot under his stare. Naala couldn't deny, Gray was a very good looking man, scratch that, he was perfect in her eyes.

Naala cleared her throat as she felt herself getting lost in his eyes.

"So Teddy, what have you been up to?" Naala quizzed fixing herself in her seat,

"Not much lil baby, working," He shrugged. Naala blushed at the nickname,

"How is business going?" Naala spoke, "T told me about the new shop," Gray was a tattoo artist, he started off small but now has two successful shops in New York.

His face lit up at the thought of his new shop, "Yeah man, that's my baby at the moment. You gotta come by sometime," He replied looking at her quickly before looking back at the road,

Naala nodded, "I might stop by soon," she smiled.

"Good, when you're coming make sure you bring me my hot chips," Gray chuckled,

"Oh my God, you still remember," Naala giggled. The last time they were all together Naala pigged out on Gray's chips and one thing he didn't play with, was his food.

"But I've got you," Naala said smirking, "How will your girlfriend feel about me popping up at your shop?" Naala asked trying to read his expression,

"I'm single," Gray said simply, Naala raised a brow,

"Really, how come?" Naala replied suddenly very intrigued,

"She was always accusing me of cheating or talking to other girls, it got too much, I ain't with all that obsessive shit," Gray admitted, with one hand on the wheel and the other comfortable in his lap.

Naala nodded, "I can see why that could break up a relationship,"

"What about you and ole boy?" Gray said, switching the line of questioning over to her,

"Can I be honest?" Naala asked looking over at him,

"Always," Gray replied putting a hand on her leg. The feeling of his hand on her leg sent shocks through Naala's body. She was dick deprived and this wasn't helping.

"I - um - I think he cheated on me," Naala muttered. This had been a thought that had been swimming in her head the past few weeks,

"You think?" Gray repeated, hoping she would open up, "He either cheated or didn't,"

"There's another woman claiming she's having his baby, she's about 7 months now meaning that she would have got pregnant whilst we were together," Naala said, she hadn't really opened up to anyone apart from her friends.

It only occurred to Naala after seeing Millie that she was quite far along meaning that Dave had in fact stepped out on her in the early stages of their relationship - most likely when she was in hospital. After coming to this realisation, Naala kicked Dave out, she couldn't bear to be in the same house as him. He was now living in an apartment not too far from them and got have Sinai from Friday's till Monday evening.

"Damn that's fucked up," Gray spoke before rubbing her leg, "I'm sorry about that," He spoke sincerely,

"It's not your fault," Naala said quietly, "It's mine, I shouldn't have trusted him so easily,"

"Nah don't blame yourself for his fuck ups,"Gray said with a bit of base in his voice,

"I know, I just didn't expect that from him," Naala spoke honestly, "Can we actually speak about something else, I don't want to cry," Naala replied, swallowing the lump in her throat.

"Yeah that's cool," Gray said switching lanes so he could take the next exit, "How's the little gremlin?"

"She's fine," Naala chuckled, "My baby isn't a baby anymore," Naala pouted,

"How old is she now?" Gray asked, "I ain't seen her since she was about 2 years old,"

"She's 5 now," Naala gushed, "She's such a little lady," she chuckled,

"I can imagine, lil mama was trynna school me on how to tie my shoelace," Gray laughed thinking of Sinai,

"Mmm, that's my baby," Naala replied with a bright smile. The only thing that has been getting her through this tough time was Sinai. Christmas was coming up in a few days and Naala was dreading having to split their time up with Sinai equally.

"You excited for this baby?" Gray asked glancing down at her stomach,

Naala was now 5 months pregnant and ready for this baby to drop. The feeling of lugging the baby around was draining her and she also didn't like being around Dave more than she needed and the hospital appointments didn't help.

"Yes, I just want my baby already," Naala replied,

"Boy or girl?" Gray quizzed, pulling into the store,

"We don't know yet, it's meant to be a surprise," Naala said, she had a feeling that it was girl as she carried the baby high - just like how she carried Sinai.

Gray nodded his head, "Should've been me," He mumbled lowly. Naala turned her head,

"Huh?" She asked, he spoke so low that she couldn't hear,

"Nothing," Gray grinned, "You gon' come in?" He asked as he put the car in park.

"Yeah why not?" Naala asked unbuckling her seatbelt. They both got out of the car and headed towards the store. When they got inside, Gray grabbed a cart and they went straight to the cheese section.

Naala's phone rang in her purse, making her fish in it to grab it.

Dave had gotten Sinai a phone due to him no longer living with them. Naala was against the idea at first because why the hell would a 5 year old need a phone. However instead of arguing with him about one more thing, she just gave in.

"Hey mommy!" Sinai spoke loudly into the phone,

"Hey girlie, where are you?" Naala asked as she couldn't recognise her surroundings,

"I'm with Daddy at Roscoe's," Sinai said flipping the camera. Naala had to make sure she was seeing correctly. There Dave was at a Roscoe's with Millie sitting next to him.

"Mmm, pass the phone to your daddy baby," Naala smiled, he had her fucked up.

"What Naala? It's my day with her," Dave said rudely as he took the phone. Even Gray paused at the attitude in his voice.

"I'm not gonna even warn you again about the way you speak to me but what the fuck are you doing Amir?" Naala said. She was fuming.

"What did I do now?" Dave huffed,

"Why have you got my daughter around a bitch I had to my hands on?" Naala said loudly, "You want me to be crazy so bad I swear - you're really fucking with me Amir,"

"Man you doing too much," Dave said smacking his lips,

"I'm doing too much?" Naala shouted not caring where they were, "What was the one thing I told you not to do?" She asked angrily.

Dave didn't reply, he just looked in the camera,

"I said don't have my child around that bitch," Naala said loudly, "How hard is that to understand?" She felt her stress levels rising to an all time high,

"Millie just popped up, I'm dropping her off as soon we done," Dave shrugged.

Naala chucked, "Do you know what? I'ma come get 'Nai tonight, " Naala said looking at Gray being goofy with a lemon making her smile a bit,

"You can't do that, I still have one more night," Dave argued,

"Just have her bags packed," Naala snapped at him,

"Chill lil baby," Gray said lowly but loud enough for Dave to hear,

"Wait who the fuck is that?" Dave said scrunching up his face,

Naala rolled her eyes, "Give my baby her phone back please," She said bluntly,

"Naala you've got me fucked up for real, let me find out you're fucking on other niggas," Dave said into the phone,

"Firstly stop all that swearing around 'Nai, secondly mind the business that pays you," Naala replied, slightly distracted as she continued smiling at Gray,

"You know what -" Dave said before ending the call. Naala frowned up her face,

"He did not just hang up on me," She said about to call back before Gray took her phone.

"Chill ma, you don't need to be stressing right now," Gray said as he slipped her phone into his pocket. "Come on let's get the stuff," He said throwing his arm around her shoulder.

"I hate him so much," Naala sighed as the walked through the aisles,

"Y'all need to have an amicable relationship though, two kids is serious," Gray said throwing some cheese into the cart,

"I try so hard with him but it's like I don't know who he is anymore," Naala replied honestly, "Maybe I'm overdoing it,"

Gray shook his head, "Stop making excuses for him, if that's how you feel then that's how you feel."

Naala sighed, "I have a habit of doing that,"

"I know I can tell," Gray agreed, "Your feelings are as valid as anyone elses"

"Damn, you need to be a therapist," Naala joked to ease the mood,

"Being a tattoo artist, I listen to people's shit all day so I've gotten used to giving out advice," Gray shrugged,

"It suits you," Naala smiled looking up at him, their eyes connecting.

Gray cleared his throat as he felt himself getting lost in her eyes, "I think we've got everything," He spoke.

Naala looked away quickly, "Yeah let's get back before Taina kills us both," Naala laughed awkwardly.

They both went to the cashier desk and paid for the things. Shortly after they were back in the car on their way back to Taina's.

Gray held the door open for Naala, the house was a bit more busier now. Naala spotted Mia and went straight over,

"I knew I would find your ass over here," Naala said to Mia who was at the food table causing Mia to jump,

"I hate you," Mia whined clutching her chest, "Where've you been?"

"I went to the store," Naala said simply picking up a mango slice,

"With who?" Mia asked looking around the room before she set her eyes on Gray, "Mmm I see you miss mamas," She teased,

Naala rolled her eyes jokingly, "He's so fine," She said practically drooling,

"Slow down there prego," Mia laughed, "You be forgetting about my niece or nephew,"

Naala sucked her teeth, "Can't I just appreciate his looks without y'all thinking I'm on him?"

"No you can't," Mia said with an amused expression, "Just because you and Dave are on a break doesn't mean you are single,"

"Mia," Naala said with a straight face, "This isn't a break," She added.

"I'll believe it when y'all stop fucking," Mia said holding her plate up,

Naala groaned, "It was one time! It was so good though," She pouted. A few days after Dave moved out, he came by the house to pick up a few things and Naala who was overly emotional and horny - fell for his trap. She dragged him into the pantry and fucked the shit out of him before sending him on his way.

"It's toxic," Mia commented, "You can't just use him when you need him,"

"Well I'm pregnant with his baby so I can only fuck with him," Naala reasoned. There was no way in hell that she would have sex with another man whilst pregnant with Dave's baby.

"Who can you fuck?" Taina asked appearing behind the two.

Mia jumped again, "Y'all are some sneaky bitches, always trynna scare me," She said with an annoyed expression. "We were talking about Naala's baby daddy," Mia spoke sipping her drink.

Taina rolled her eyes, "That bastard, I still want my ones with him," She said seriously,

"You can't fight him," Naala giggled pulling out her phone,

"I will fight him and his dumb ass sister, they both got me fucked up," Taina replied. She had been ready to beat Chanel's ass up again since Mexico.

"I'm gonna kill him," Naala mumbled as she went through her Instagram.

"What happened now?" Mia asked taking Naala's phone from her hand,

"I know this bitch didn't," Mia gasped as she looked at the picture.
