"Stop stressing," Dave said squeezing Naala's thigh. She was sitting in the passenger seat as Dave drove towards Sinai's school.
"Pull over," Naala gagged, "Just pull over Amir," She said quickly.
Dave sensed the urgency in her voice and pulled over in the safest spot. As soon as the car came to a halt, Naala opened the door and leaned out, bringing up everything she had digested that morning.
Dave screwed up his face, "Love," He said concernedly,
"Pass me my purse," She said. She pulled out a mini bottle of mouthwash and rinsed her mouth out.
"Are you okay now?" Dave asked as Naala sat properly back into her seat.
"I feel like shit," She mumbled, Dave rubbed his hand up and down her thigh,
"I hate when you're sick," Dave said honestly, "My son needs to cut it out," He joked gaining a small smile from Naala.
"He's definitely his fathers child," Naala replied, "Giving me trouble before he's even born,"
"That's my little nigga," Dave laughed,
Naala slapped his arm, "Don't call my son that,"
"I love how we just be assuming it's a boy," Dave smiled,
"I want a boy, girls are too much," Naala replied looking over at him,
"We gon' have a girl next," Dave smirked, "You here that boy, you betta hurry up in there. I need that space again." Dave said talking directly to her stomach.
"Stop putting that into the universe," Naala said bluntly,
"I'm not even gonna talk too much," Dave chuckled, "Just watch," He shrugged.
Naala looked out of the window, "I really hope this meeting goes well,"
Dave nodded, "I gotta have words with her teacher, apparently she has a problem with me,"
"With you?" Naala asked with a confused face, "She's never even met you,"
"Nai told me she doesn't like when she speaks about me," Dave continued, "I wanna know what I've done to her,"
"Well we're gonna find out," Naala said softly,
"My baby don't do shit to nobody," Dave said shaking his head.
"You'll be surprised," Naala replied, "That girls cheeky, today she told me I need to stop picking out her outfits," Naala laughed.
"You be picking crop tops and shit," Dave mumbled,
"They're cute!" Naala laughed, "She's the one that asks for them," Naala shrugged,
"She's not wearing them no more," Dave replied tugging on his beard,
"Yes daddy," Naala said looking over at him with hooded eyes. Her naturally pouted lips, ready to be kissed.
"Quit playing before I pull over," Dave said seriously squeezing her thigh.
20 minutes later they pulled up at the school. Dave stopped Naala from getting out,
"Wait," He said putting his hand over hers, "Keep your cool in there," He reminded. The last time they had a meeting at the school, Naala threatened to report them to the board.
"I will," She reassured, "I should be saying that to you, Mr. My baby don't do shit," Naala said mocking his voice,
"Shut up," Dave said mushing her head. Naala got out of the car and pulled down her shirt. Today she was wearing a plain black tee shirt with some black tights, they were the only ones that fit her at the moment. The t shirt hugged her belly tightly - it was pretty obvious she was pregnant today.
Dave got out and walked over to her side of the car and grabbed her hand, "They best not be on any shit today," Dave mumbled as they walked in.

The couple walked through the doors hand in hand, walking up to the front desk straight away. Mandy, the receptionist spotted them as soon as they stepped through the doors.
Her eyes travelled from Naala's face to her swollen belly causing her to raise an eyebrow. She looked over at Dave that had a mug on his face.
"We're here for a meeting with Principal Fuller," Naala said to Mandy,
"Just a second," She replied with a smile, paging the Principal, "I believe we've met before," Naala stifled a laugh as Dave looked her up and down.
"Nah I don't think we have," Dave said bluntly. He remembered her very well, she was the woman that stared at him every time he dropped Sinai off,
"Principal Fuller will be with you in a moment," Mandy said, her smile fading.
"Perfect," Naala smiled rubbing her stomach, Dave leaned down and kissed her lips.
Mandy watched the display with a sour look on her face, not only had she not succeeded at seducing Dave but he was now rubbing his relationship in her face.
"Now you've got lipgloss on your lips," Naala laughed wiping off the gloss,
Dave shrugged and kissed her again, "I don't care," He smirked.
"Mr and Mrs Brewster, it's a pleasure," Principal Fuller said walking over to them, neither of them even corrected him - it sounded nice.
"I wish it was on better circumstances," He continued. He led them into his office where Ms Bolton sat.
Dave caught a glimpse of her and his eyes widened. Naala noticed his body stiffen up,
"What's the matter," She whispered to him as they sat down,
"That's Buggy Bella," He whispered back, Naala looked over in confusion until it hit her.
When they were in high school there was a girl who used to follow Dave around everyday, everywhere he was she would be two steps behind. She even went as far as holding his gym bag. Naala used to find it hilarious because Dave didn't pay her any mind. She got the name 'Buggy Bella' because she was like a bug that never wanted to die.
Everything started to make sense to Naala, that's why she was so interested in what Sinai was doing.
"So we're here today to discuss Sinai's behaviour, Ms Bolton here has been keeping me updated and I felt it would only be right for me to speak to her parent's," The principal began to say,
"Can I ask what kind of behaviour she's displaying," Naala asked. She didn't want to here any bullshit,
"Well —" Buggy Bella began to say.
"I was asking Principal Fuller," Naala said cutting her off,
"Isabella here will be able to tell you a lot more about her behaviour than I can," The principal said in Ms Bolton's defence using her first name.
Dave cleared his throat, "Y'all are describing it like she did something real bad," Dave said with a mug, "From what I heard it's about her attitude so why was this meeting necessary," Dave continued,
"I understand your frustration," The principal replied,
"Who said he was frustrated?" Naala questioned, "Look I just want to know why my daughter believes she's being picked on by your employee," Naala said pointing to Buggy Bella.
Her face flushed red, "I assure you that I treat all my students the same," She replied quite flustered,
"Is that right?" Dave asked causing Ms Bolton to look at him. This was the first time she had looked at him properly since they had arrived,

"Yes," She nodded frantically, "I have never treated Sinai any different," She said defensively.
Naala scoffed, "So are you calling my child a liar?" She asked, "Because if so Isabella, we are going to have a problem."
"She is lying!" Ms Bolton replied raising her voice. She seemed to even have shocked her self because she covered her mouth immediately.
"Ms Bolton!" The principal said loudly, shocked by her out burst.
"Wow," Naala said shaking her head, "Did you hear that?" She asked Dave who wore a heavy mug.
"Can Sinai come up here then, because my daughter isn't a liar," Naala repeated, she had taught Sinai always to tell the truth,
"Yes, I will send for her," The principal said picking up his phone and ringing the classroom Sinai would have been in.
"I don't know why she's looking over here," Dave muttered holding onto Naala's hand.
Naala looked over and sure enough, Buggy Bella was staring them down. She shot her her smug smile and looked away.
"Sinai will be here in a second, Ms Walls will bring her down,"
Dave nodded, "We need to get to the bottom of this," He said firmly,
"Of course, here at St. Judes we strive for perfection," The principal said proudly, Naala scoffed,
"Clearly not," She mumbled, her eyes on Bella. Moments later, Mia escorted Sinai into the office. Mia sent Naala a confused look,
"I'll call you later," Naala whispered softly at Mia who nodded and left the room.
"Hey girly," Naala said to Sinai as she sat on her dad's lap.
"Hi mommy," Sinai replied shyly, clinging onto her dad's neck.
"So Sinai, could you tell us how it is in your classroom with Ms Bolton?" The principal asked her nicely, Sinai looked between Naala and Dave to see if it was okay to speak.
"Go on Nai," Dave spoke,
"Erm, sometimes it's really fun but sometimes when I'm talking Ms Bolton puts me on red," She was referring to the school's behaviour chart.
"Straight to red, not amber?" The principal asked,
Sinai shook her head, "Always red. Last time I was telling my friend Chloe about my holiday with my mommy and daddy and Ms Bolton said to me 'no one cares about your silly holiday',"
"She said what?" Naala intervened, "What else baby?"
"When I asked why I was on red she said because I think I am so perfect." Sinai said putting her head down,
The principal's eyes widened at what Sinai had said. Ms Bolton sat there with a shocked expression, she didn't think she would remember all of this.
"That is unacceptable Ms Bolton," The principal said directly to her, "Is there anything else, you would like to tell us?"
"This morning I saw Ms Bolton and Ms Moore talking about my daddy and Ms Bolton said she used to 'suck his—" Dave quickly cut her off,
"That's enough Nai," Dave said shaking his head for her to stop talking. Naala just stared at Ms Bolton,
Ms Bolton put her head down, "I think I should leave," She said to the Principal who nodded his head,
"That will be all I need Isabella, thank you," He said to her as she left the room not before she glanced at both Dave and Naala.
"I am so sorry for that." The principal rushed out, "I don't know what to say,"
Dave shook his head, "That's who you have teaching my daughter?" He said looking the principal up and down.
"We want her to move classes," Naala spoke, "We pay too much for her to be treated that way," she added. At Judes was a private school and therefore the fees were relatively high. Naala had begged Darnell to get her into this school and was glad when he did so.
"I understand completely, again I am so sorry," The principal said, "I will have her transferred immediately,"
"I would hate to come back here," Dave said sternly before standing up holding Sinai, "Come on Love," He said to Naala, holding out his hand to help her up.
"I apologise once again for the inconvenience," The principal apologised for the umpteenth time, "And happy holidays," He added.
"You too," Naala mumbled as Dave led her out of the room.
"I hope she was not with Ms Bolton today?" Dave said as he held onto Sinai,
"No she was actually with Ms Stewart, would you like to go back to that class Sinai?" The principal asked,
Sinai nodded, "I like Ms Stewart," Dave put her down,
"Which way is it?" Dave asked so he could take her back.
"Just this way." The principal said leading him and Sinai back over to the classrooms,
"Bye mommy!" Sinai said running back over and hugging her waist, "Bye sister," She said to her belly before kissing it and running off.
"Bye baby," Naala chuckled and walked back over to the front desk where Mandy was watching her like a hawk.
"Should I book another meeting?" She asked sweetly, staring only at Dave.
"That won't be necessary Mandy," Naala relied, "But the next time I come up here and my daughter tells me anything about you or your hoe ass friend, I swear I will drag across this floor, pregnant and all."
Mandy stared at Naala, she never expected to her to be like this, she always thought Naala was a quiet woman.
"Try me if you want bitch, I got all the time in the world to give you a real good ass beating," Naala smiled innocently as she saw Dave and the Principal approaching.
"Thanks again," The principal said to them as they left the building.
As soon as they were in the car, Naala burst into laughter.
"I can't believe all this time I didn't realise that was Buggy Bella," She said chuckling.
"I noticed as soon as I saw those beady eyes," Dave replied smiling, "Man, she was obsessed with me," He added,
"Oh shut up, you loved it," Naala said rolling her eyes. Naala went quiet suddenly,
"You let her suck your dick?" She asked quietly,
"Of course not," Dave said with a scrunched up face, "She tried a lot of times but you know I wasn't into it,"
"Well I don't know that's why I'm asking," Naala replied looking at him,
"Don't worry her lips have never touched your dick," Dave chuckled,
"Damn right it's mine," Naala mumbled,
"What do you want to do today?" Dave asked as he pulled out of the school.
"I need to go to the store to pick up some things for thanksgiving," Naala said remembering what she had to do today.
"You want me to take you?" Dave asked, "It's just me and you today,"
Naala nodded, "Yes please," She said, "I know, we're never alone,"
Dave took the next turn and headed towards the store. He turned up the radio and funny enough his breakfast club interview was playing.
"They won't let this interview go man," He chuckled leaning back in his seat.
"It's because you're rude," Naala said shaking her head, "You didn't have to say he was dead as hell," Naala said stale facing him,
"But he is," Dave laughed, "That nigga can't threaten me while his ass is in wood,"
"Stop," Naala said trying to stifle a laugh, "Don't speak ill of the dead,"
Dave waved her off, "He can't do nothing to me,"
Naala's phone buzzed with notifications. Her Instagram was popping off and she knew that meant one thing,
"Did you post me today?" Naala asked as she opened up her Instagram page,
"It's Wednesday," Dave shrugged causing Naala to suck her teeth, "Gotta give my baby some credit," Dave smirked,
"All your little fans are gonna be coming for me now," Naala huffed. Shaderoom had even reposted it.
😍😍
"No way, SZA liked my picture," Naala gasped, "Papa look!" She said shoving her phone into his face.
"I can see," Dave laughed, "SZA is cool, you wanna meet her?" Dave asked,
"Stop playing with me Amir," She said with a straight face,
"Imma give her a call," Dave shrugged causing Naala to smile.
"That's why I love you," She said smiling widely,
"Wow, so you love me because I can hook you up?" Dave said with a fake hurt expression,
"Sorry Papa," Naala said shrugging, then laughing lightly at the look on his face.
"I look good though," Naala mumbled, "I don't want to lose my body," She pouted.
"You always look good and I'll love you either way," Dave smirked, "Even with your rolls"
Naala gasped, "Don't say that," She whined, "That's not funny,"
Dave laughed loudly, "Sorry," He said looking at her pouting. He suddenly remembered something that he had been meaning to discuss with her.
"There's something I need to talk about with you actually," Dave said clearing his throat,
"Mmm," Naala hummed,
"You know with the album coming out I have to go on tour," Dave said, placing his hand on her thigh.
Naala nodded, "Yeah I figured, for how long?"
Dave sighed and parted his lips, "6 months,"
Naala snapped her head towards him, "6 months Amir?" She said loudly, "I'm four months pregnant, so you're gonna miss my entire pregnancy?"
"I'm gonna come back after every show," Dave said,
"That's not possible!" Naala shouted, "So I'm gonna go through this on my own, again."
Dave didn't think of it that way, there's no way he could leave her alone for that long.
"You're right," He sighed, "Calm down," Dave said rubbing her thigh,
Naala huffed, "I don't want to do this on my own again Amir, it's not fair," She said quietly,
"I'll talk to Dean, see if we can delay it a bit," Dave spoke making a mental note to speak to his manager later on,
"At least till I have the baby," Naala said softly, "I didn't mean to shout,"
"Nah my fault, I can't go away for that long - not right now. Y'all need me," Dave replied,
"But I don't want you to miss out," Naala said realising she was being a bit selfish, "If you need to go then go,"
"I can't miss out on this," He said pointing at her stomach, "This music shit doesn't mean nothing to me without my family,"
"Don't do that, don't put your own needs to the side for us, I don't want to be the reason you don't go," Naala said honestly,
"I'm not cancelling the tour all together, I'm just delaying it," Dave shrugged, "I need to here,"
"Just think about it Papa, we'll still be here when you get back," Naala smiled softly. She was putting on a brave face but in reality she was scared. She didn't want to be alone again.
Dave looked over at Naala and he saw right through her smile, he knew he couldn't leave her not after he missed her first pregnancy.
"Do you wanna go to Walmart or Target?" Dave asked Naala as she stared out of the window,
"Which ever," She shrugged, "Have you spoken to your mom recently?" Naala asked,
"Nah I was gonna go over there today, you know my Aunt Tee and them are staying there,"
Naala shook her head, "I didn't, so they are gonna be there for thanksgiving?"
"Yeah, this gon' be their first time meeting Nai," Dave spoke turning into the parking lot,
"You've not told them about her?" Naala asked sitting up in her seat,
"They don't need to know," Dave replied bluntly. Naala just nodded, she didn't want to push, clearly there was a reason why he hadn't said anything.
"What about Chanel? I don't want any issues," Naala said thinking back to their vacation.
"She's gonna be there as well," Dave spoke, "Just ignore her,"
"As long as she stays out of my way," Naala shrugged,
"Naala we are not spending two hours in this store," He warned as he put the car in park.
Naala laughed lightly, "You are so dramatic, I've never spent two hours here,"
"I meant what I said, we are in and out," Dave mumbled getting out of the car and slipped his sunglasses on.
"Yes daddy," Naala smiled, "Hand me my purse please baby," She said as she slipped out of the car,
"Here," Dave said handing her the purse,
"Oh my God, It's Dave East," A young girl squealed across the parking lot, the girl came running over excitedly. She looked about 16.
