The whole reason why the demon was and still is on my tail is because of my very first night here In Spain. When I'd caught some dangerous guys talking between themselves.

Thinking back to that night, Im pretty sure I recall one of the scary men holding a child. Could that have been Jimena. Because as far as I know the demons last name is Rey which also happens to be Jimena's last name.

And I'm sure of the fact that Julia was scared when she mentioned anything about this Mr Rey and even stopped herself from saying anymore. Could this man be the demon himself.

Wasting no time, I ran out of the hospital, out of my mind. Where did they go. Oh god help me. Both the duo were nowhere in sight yet I had a duty to get back to too.

Laila you're not thinking straight. Go back inside, have a warm cup of tea and sort your head out. All of this is a coincedance. I mean there are hundreds of people in Spain with the name Rey. You're just paranoid.

And perhaps a bit of a spy detective who may have solved a huge mystery. Shut up brain, you're coming up with random thoughts. Ugh! Okay now I was going insane.

Thankfully Marissa was able to drag me out of my thinking abyss.

"Whatcha doing looking all hopeless Laila. I'm sure you've got patients to attend to" she brushed her arms next to mine.

I looked at her jokingly as a fake smile adorned my lips.

"And don't you have patients to be looking after Miss Davila" I sassed back.

"I already have Miss Bakhash" she replied back cockily, pretending to chew a chewing gum, very loudly might I add.

We both chuckled together after some time. We were not right in the head. Well moreso me. I shook my head getting rid of all these thoughts.

"Hey Laila look" she swatted my arm, rather vigorously might I add, grabbing my attention.

"What" I said looking at her in sudden confusion. But her attention was turned towards something else. Or rather someone else.

"Do you know those men?" I asked, wondering what was so special about them. She nodded at me, glancing back at them.

"Si I know of them, but not them. You know the one with the big belly and bald head" she exclaimed lowly not wanting to draw attention from around us. I nodded at her to continue.

"Well rumours flying around between the doctors here that he's bad news. One night, a doctor had just served his night shift and he was coming out of the reception to only hear loud noises from the room down there" he jolted her head towards the right side of the hospital.

That was where I had gone to retrieve that file.

"He said he heard someone screaming to someone else most likely on the phone. I can't seem to remember what they were talking about exactly but I did hear the word file" her eyebrows furrowed in deep concentration. But I didn't need to hear anymore.

That file. That stupid file which the demon made me risk my life for. Could it be that one.

"Marissa. Did they mention anything about the colour of this supposed file" she was silent for a few minutes which I was suspecting as a no.

"Emm. I'm pretty sure they said rojo"

I looked on expectantly. "and that would be which colour... Red?"

She nodded to my dismay. Oh god almighty.

If those men were dangerous and they were looking for that red file, then it must've contained something important. The real question is, why did the demon want that file.

Unlike before where I shoved these questions under the rug, I would find an answer this time. My curiosity was getting the best of me as this file situation was also involving me whether the demon liked it or not.

I would have to meet the demon. One way or another.

But right now, I had patients to take care of. So without another second to lose, I made my way over there, waving at Marissa.

"I'll see you later Marissa"

"See you chica"

It was a Thursday today. I had been so busy at the hospital that the last time I saw Marissa during work hours was three days ago on Monday.

But, it wasn't the last time I was seeing that 'bald and dangerous man' according to her. I'm sure I had never seen him here prior to this week.

It was a constant to see him go to the right side of the hospital exactly ten am on the dot. Of course I didn't stalk him, or his associates for that matter. It just so happened that I had to check out my patients reports.

And maybe to see whether those group of scary men came back like they did the previous days before.

Something got me wondering. Who really was he. I mean, from my point of view, he looked like an old guy who had started a business at a pretty young age and due to all that stress he lost his hair.

But I'm sure that wasn't the real him. There has to be more to these powerful people than just a lack of hair.

For the first time in my life I actually wished to meet the demon. I had questions that demanded answers and I would not rest until I got them. He hadn't killed me so far which only encouraged my dedication to getting those answers.

The demon doesn't know what hit him. I laughed evilly in my head, and also literally as I saw the adult patient looking at me in horror. Bless the late thirty-something year old man who had to see me like this. Stupid subconscious.

I immediately sported my best doctor face, feeling like I had to owe him an apology. And that's what I did.

"Lo siento señor"

I smiled, hoping he'd forget about my creepy face, but if anything he looked even more scared. I looked around at me hoping to call over the doctor, just in case the patient's blood pressure rose.

I'm pretty sure in his records it stated he had diabetes and if his blood pressure increased because of my creepy face and something happened to him, I wouldn't know what to do. I'd most likely cry.

Thankfully, the senior doctor was walking around, checking upon the patients until she reached us. Her name was Victoria and she certainly looked like one. Not that all Victoria's were like this, but she, she just rubbed me the wrong way. High nose, straight jawline and a bitch face. And an equally bitchy attitude.

Astaghfirullah. I'm starting to swear too in my head. Stop it brain.

"What are you doing Miss Bakhash" she stated in her thick Spanish accent. I smiled to the best of my ability, trying to make up mentally for the bad thoughts I had towards her.

"Nothing doctor. I was just checking on the patients that's all" I replied to my upmost honesty.

"Hmm" she looked me up and down, her hands folded against her chest. She began walking towards the once terrified patient whose features were now relaxed. Alhamdulillah. I used this oppertunity to Naruto myself out of there and check on the remaining patients.

By Naruto I meant speed walk, because actually doing that would make me look like a deranged doctor nutcase.

By the time Friday came along, I was more than happy to call it a day. I'd internally been hoping that the demon somehow got my message for his arrival mentally, like telepathy, but who was I kidding.

He didn't arrive at the hospital just liked I'd feared. So I took it upon myself this Friday to personally message him on the number that he'd send me threats on. Stupid idea but I didn't have any other choice. It's like I was digging my own grave up myself.

When break time rolled around the first thing I did was take out my phone and begin the message. Problem is, how do I start off. Hi? No. He doesn't deserve a hi.

Just keep it short and simple.

I need to talk to you about something important. Meet me at the park next to the hospital.

Was I too demanding? Because I sound like Victoria.

I need to talk to you about something important. Meet me at the park next to the hospital...Please.

There that should do the trick I thought as I sent off the text.

A few minutes later I received a reply.
