How beautiful is the picture above😍 I took it whilst going on a walk, just before sunset.
“Understand me.
I'm not like an ordinary world.
I have my madness,
I live in another dimension
and I do not have time for things
that have no soul ”
{Charles Bukowski}

"Please can I ask you a question now. We've been walking for ages and I'm getting pretty tired" I exclaimed throwing my hands in the air with frustration. The demon looked down at me, probably thinking of killing me fifty times in his head.
He didn't say anything for the next couple of minutes as my hope began to die down.
"Just one question. Don't bother asking about my name because I will not give it to you so easily" okay then moody Margaret.
Now let me think. When we'd reached the tunnel, the demon made me carry my boots if anything were to happen. Now that I think about it, we came here in a car, obviously, but what about that car.
"You made me hold my shoes in my hands, but what about the car. Wouldn't it be suspicious that a car is parked next to the forest with no one in it" I looked up at the devil to see him smirking evilly. It made me second guess why I came here and accompanied him. But then again I didn't have a choice in that either.
"Funny you ask that amado because the car is to be drowned" he made a motion of looking down at his watch, the sinister gleam in his eyes increasing. "right about now by my men, so you don't need to worry that pretty little head of yours" he exclaimed, ruffling my head as if I was magically growing hair through the scarf.
I looked and stepped away from him wondering how he could carelessly discard a car without no feelings. If he was so desperate to get rid of it, he could've given it to me. I would've cherished it like my own kid.
Albeit it was a pretty expensive car being a Range Rover and all, and it would've definitely arose questions from the people that I knew, but still, he didn't need to chuck away a perfectly good vehicle.
I didn't ponder much on the car though as I had other things to be worried about. Besides, it's was his money. He could do whatever he wanted to with it.
We stopped at a brick wall. I looked around to see spider webs and skinny spider legs crawl around in the corners. I stepped a bit closer to the demon but not enough to invade his personal space.
I didn't see what he was doing but by some sort of magic, the wall in all it's roughness broke apart from the middle, slowly caving into a room. I watched on mesmerised. Stuff like this only happened in the movies.
The demon walked ahead of me and I followed suit. I made sure to glance at the spider from above me, thankful that it was stationary and not wanting to shoot it's web at me. Even with that in mind, I still made sure to walk in to the room faster just in case the spider had a change of heart and wanted to attack me.
The boxed room was all grey, with cameras stationed within the ceilings.
The brick wall closed with a bang from behind, rattling me to my core. The demon payed no mind to this as he was too busy using his handprints to open another door.

Not too long later, the doors before us opened and I wasn't surprised with what I saw before me.
The smell was what instantly gave away the products. I could smell weed. A lot of it. And I could also see a white powder bulging from the tip of the crates. I'm presuming this was Cocaine.
It was ironic how in the future I would be working to save people lives, yet ironically I'm placed in a situation where these products would destroy theirs.
The demon from besides me looked down at me his single glare enough to pass on a message. I nodded my head, scared of what was to happen if I didn't follow through with his words.
Not ten seconds later, a man in his early thirties scurried in front of the demon, his visage that of fear. I observed him from the way he stood so submissive, with his hands clasped together at the front, to his scrunched up smart shirt. I glanced at his disheveled hair, no doubt he'd been running his hands through.
"S-señor" he evidently gulped. Just this man's fearful state made me sweat. He didn't even bother to glance at me as he was too busy eyeing the Mafia king besides me, awaiting his next move.
"Cut the crap Marco, where are the drugs. The order was for, twenty-five shipments. I've only received fifteen. Now, tell me what happened with the others before I lose my shit!" He all but growled and I swear the supposed Marco's brown pants darkened from the inner thighs.
I hope it wasn't what I thought it was, because that would be embarrassing. But then again, he was stood in front of a Mafia leader who looked ready to kill and peeing his pants was the least of his problems especially not if he was to die.
Astaghfirullah. Since when did I get so morbid.
"We arrived at the docks on time, but apparently not early enough" Marco surprisingly said with confidence, but the sweat that trailed down his forehead and hid in his collar told a different story.
"Hmm" the demon hummed "and why's that Marco would you care to enlighten me"
"Señor the missing five crates were not there when we went. Me and Rino searched the ship wondering what was going on only to see the crew members murdered. Not only that but everyone who ported that ship was murdered. There was no trace of who could have done this and we couldn't risk losing the remaining shipment so we quickly loaded here" Marco explained, gulping every so often causing his sentences to be cut off mid word.
The demon seemed to be in deep thought as he walked up to the crates, picking up a small bag of the white powder and inspecting the package.
"Bien. What's done cannot be undone" I looked on at him, wondering whether it was my mind or he really did quote Macbeth. "Instead, I want you and Rico to go back to the port first thing come morning and find out who did this. I want answers within twenty-four hours, otherwise say good bye to your families" the demon commanded as Marco gulped and nodded furiously.
"O-of course s-señor. Ill g-get right on it" and with that said he lowered his head as a sign of respect I presume and walked towards the place he came from.
I was now situated behind the demon as he stood where Marco was just moments ago with his back facing me. I wanted to get out of this literal hell hole and breath fresh air but of course that was too much to ask as of yet.

"Can we get out of here" I voiced quietly almost too afraid of breaking the silence.
The muscles in the demons back flexed through his blazer as he moved his arms in front of him. I soon realised what he was doing when the sound of the lighter being turned on tore through the silence.
Smoke soon erupted in mesmerising swirls in the air. The demon faced me now, but the darkness of the room and the smoke travelling around his adonis face made it impossible to see His expressions.
"I was thinking I'd leave you here" he stated rather calmly, as he brought the cigarette between his fingers, inspecting it.
"W-what. You cant d-do that" I exclaimed, now shocked and scared. He looked up, his eyebrows raised, daring to defy him. A phonecall rang in the air as the demon slowly took it out of his pocket, his eyes never leaving mine.
"Si" the demon smirked evilly, his gaze still on me. I gulped from the menace In his eyes. What was he thinking looking at me that way. I turned my back towards him, crossing my arms in front of me.
I walked towards where we came from, eyeing the hand print in front of me. Of course your hand wouldn't work stupid. I chastised myself after the screen turned red in denial. Retracting my hand away from the scanner, I looked out for another way. Surely there was an exit button here somewhere.
A deep voice broke me from my thoughts.
"Not so fast kitten"
Too tired to argue with him, I rested my head against the doors, mumbling. It's not like I could run anywhere from this drug prison. And it's not like I had energy to do so either. It was way past my bed time and I just wanted this night to be over.
"Follow me" and I did.
I didn't bother noticing the area around me, as I was once again led through another tunnel. I glanced at my phone only to see the battery at five percent. Great. Just what I needed.
Whilst walking, I suddenly felt something exiting my body. It couldn't be. I tried moving around awkwardly, only to feel moisture and wetness. God no!
I needed a pad. Urgently.
But what do I do. My situation would only get worse from here, and not to say, a dull pain began clouding my lower back. I'm pretty sure I started walking like a penguin.
The demon twisted his head, checking whether I was still there or somehow dissappeared into thin air. Like that would happen. I thought bitterly. I didn't fail to notice how his gaze wandered to my legs, staying there for only a few seconds. I attempted to walk slowly, but as I did so I could feel the blood leaking.
He looked away which I was thankful for as he didn't see my expressions which increasingly changed into disgust the more I thought of period gone wrong scenarios.
Anyone else do that? No. Okay.
With each step towards our destination, my pain intensified. My hands curled around my stomach, as I struggled to walk further. This was the type of pain that made me unable to walk. I needed my bed. And I needed it now. And a hot water bottle, which I couldn't survive without.
Not long later, we reached a wall, which opened upon the demons voice, revealing a garage. Four expensive cars which I didn't bother knowing were neatly parked in a line. The demon walked towards the one in the far right, as I followed him.
"Get in quickly"
Without wasting a second, I rushed inside the car but stopped just before I could sit down. The seats were white. Great.
I groaned, wanting to slam the door shut and scream at anything and everything, but the shoot of pain in my stomach didn't fail to remind me I needed comfort rather than danger.
"What is wrong with you" everything, I wanted to say, but just ended up shaking my head, my fingers on the balls of my eyes soothing them.
"Do you have any tissue? Or any old cloth that you don't need" I instead replied.
I could hear shuffling before his deep voice grumbled a "here". Taking the tissues from his hand, I placed them out across the seat, making sure to double up on them. I didn't dare look at the demon as I could feel his eyes on me, scrutinising my every move.
I felt my cheeks go warmer, as I attempted to sit down, a wince playing on my face.
"If I find blood on my seats, you will pay" I looked at him in shock, wondering how I gave anything away. Better yet, how did he know? He must have a lot of sisters.
I couldn't say anything out of embarrassment as I gripped onto the hand bar, not once facing the demon. I'm pretty sure I resembled a tomato with my red face and green chiffon hijab.
Nevertheless, I looked out the window and tried to focus on something other than my dull pain. I rested my forehead against the window, praying and hoping it would go away, but of course who was I kidding. It didn't.
Looks like it was gonna be one of those days.
I was in too much agony to realise where we had stopped. I looked up at the twenty-four hour open sign, confused. Why did we stop here. My answers were soon answered when a slam was heard besides me. The shock only added to my pain, as my gaze followed the demon into the shop.
I didn't bother with him and instead waited patiently to get home. My peaceful few minutes were interrupted by the slamming of a door. A couple of objects were carelessly thrown onto my lap and the more I focused on them, the more my vision would get blurry.
Blinking my eyes open, I was surprised to see a pack of pads. I looked at the demon in shock as he effortlessly opened a bottle of juice. He held it out in front of me, his eyebrows furrowed and face devoid of any emotion.
I shook my head, attempting to drink the juice myself but the demon had other plans. He swatted my hands away, pushing the bottle further into my lips. With a hesitant breath, I opened my mouth and enjoyed the taste of oranges.
Pulling away slightly from the bottle, I breathed in relief that my hungry stomach wasn't so hungry anymore. Before I could thank the demon, a pill was held out in front of me.
"What's this"
He sighed, seemingly annoyed at my questioning.
"For a medical student, you sure are dumb" if I wasn't in pain, I would've argued with him but the vulnerable side of me decided to save my energy and ignore him.
"It's a pain relieving medicine. I'm not sure how familiar you are with them" I tried to roll my eyes, "but the one I'm giving you is paracetamol. It'll help with your cramps" he concluded.
"Now do you want the pill or no" it wasn't a question. More like a statement. He raised his eyebrows in amusement as I nodded my head.
"Yes I want it" I exclaimed, taking it from him fingers before washing it down with the juice. Now all I had to do was wait for the drug to kick in.
"There's a bathroom somewhere in the store so go inside and use the pads. I don't want my baby to get bloody" just when I thought he could be nice and caring.
Who was I kidding. He is the Mafia King.
