Having blinked more than 3 times, I stared at Silver.

"Do you like Synn?"

I wasn't expecting that question from Silver but he was expecting an answer from me. I swallowed thickly, spinning the rings that were on my fingers.

"I don't know," I muttered to myself. Truly, I didn't even know. There were times Synn would be fierce and moody to me and times when he becomes touchy with me. But that didn't mean I liked him yet. I couldn't still forget the incident with Geletino and those people in the Lukewarm. His nice attitude to me didn't make him less of a bad person.

I heard Silver's voice."Okay." He said and stands up. "I'm going to change into a new t-shirt." He said leaving after I nodded.

He sounded like he was expecting that of my reply. I sigh, digging my fingers softly into my palms.

Synn.

His name sounded so evil just like him. He once mentioned something about being the son of Lucifer which made me even think more into the subject. Where was Synn's dad?

I subjectively had heard of the tales of the angel who was thrown down to hell from heaven. It was Lucifer. But what I didn't hear was that Lucifer had a son. But I guess that was just some sort of belief. That was where the belief ended. No one knew of Synn.

I stare at the hollow wall, thinking deeply. Everything was getting to the point where I'm confused. Being his mate, reasons and others. I didn't just know what to think of anymore.

"I'm back." Silver said. I look away from staring at the wall and looked up at him. He had a new t-shirt and new jeans.

"What were you thinking?" He questioned. And that was when I decided to ask.

"Who is Lucifer?" I asked.

I could feel the temperature in the room that had just arisen. Silver's body looked tensed as he looked away while I tried to read him.

"Why are you asking that, Li?" He said, his tone not saying the truth. I lean forward and answered.

"I just want to know who he is. Is he really Synn's father?" I mentioned.

Silver's eyes suddenly light up at this question which gave in a way to curiosity. "Yes, he is." He said finally.

"But Synn never had a mother." He continued, his tone dead serious. I listened in interest. Silver sighs when he sees how interested I am in this topic.

"According to beliefs, Lucifer was once an angel. One way or another, he was thrown into hell by God himself after committing a sin back up there in heaven. Lucifer had a son later after a decade and that son happened to be Synn."

Linda's eyes grew wide at the mention of years. A decade?

Does that mean Synn was more than 10 years old? How is that possible?

"How old is Synn?" She said growing bothered.

"235 years old."

Linda only nodded, her heart and mind said a different story. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Everything was like a story but it was real. It was real enough to know that she was part of it.

"But how is Synn not dead by now? I mean since he is that old."

"Immortals don't age psychically. We just increase in immortals age while the current human age stays the same and that is all."

"You're an immortal?" I ask, my heartbeat escalating. Wow! This was crazy to know.

"Yes! I'm crystal blood. And as an immortal, we are never bad looking." I rolled my eyes, a small smile grazing my lips.

"But how does Synn not have a mother?" It wasn't even possible not to have one. I mean, who then gave birth to him?

"Don't know. Just heard of it. But I'm quite sure it's possible not to have one. Lucifer is a smart man. He has his ways." Silver rocked his hands through his hair. The buffeting breeze blowing outside signifies that it was going to rain any soonest.

"Have you met him before?" Questions just keep darting into my mind that I didn't even register it before asking. I was keen to the edge to know about Synn and his history. If he wanted to know mine, then the same goes for me.

"No."

After the modest reply flew out of Silver's lips, I looked up at the stairs to see Synn approaching. The news I had just attained really did change my perspective of him a little bit. But that doesn't mean I liked him. Sure he made me blush and flattered but that was normal to happen when you're around an attractive and tremendous male.

My breathing became heavy as I look away. Some way, he always made me feel intimidated. I didn't blame him because anyone who was around Synn felt that way. But I couldn't say for Silver...who was happily munching on oats biscuits.

"Hey bro." Silver quickly registers Synn's presence in the room. I look away and tried to focus my attention on something else.

"You going out today?" I heard Silver ask followed by his loud chewing. I peep to see Synn looking at Silver with disgust. I had to control myself not to laugh, giggle or make a cheerful sound just seeing the way Silver ate.

He was definitely trying to piss Synn.

"Can you eat well for once in your life?" Synn asks, anger coursing through his veins. Synn was always grumpy in the morning so this wasn't a shock.

"What is wrong with the way I eat?" Silver asked ignorantly. I just wanted to laugh at the way Silver kept overlooking Synn but I couldn't. The two of them were always entertaining together.

"A lot." I heard Synn mutters audibly. "I'm heading out somewhere," Synn answered Silver's recent question.

"Can Linda and I come along? This house is getting a little boring to stay in."

My inner mind could explode all at once when I heard the proposal. I really hoped Synn said yes. I wanted to explore the big city of New York and the streets. Plus, Silver was right. The home was getting boring. Home. How weird it felt to say that.

"You two can come along as long as you stop behaving bitchy and try to stop acting annoying." Silver's voice made me flinch when I heard his laugh.

"You used the word try. Not complaining." He then turns to me.

"Come on pups! We are going out of this hell hole for a bit."

I dragged my feet towards Silver. However, I could still feel Synn's intense glare at me. It made my guts flip. What did I do to have received that harsh glare?

I walk alongside Silver, we all going outside. The harsh breeze still continued and the sky only turning darker. I loved the feeling of the cold air on my arms and legs which I didn't before. But I guess things changes when you're happy.

We took turns to enter the limo, Synn being the last one to enter. My nostril titillated as my eye grew big. The inside was like heaven!

The smell of freshly changed seat covers and the same fragrance we had at the house. But that wasn't it. It smelled like Synn. Everything.

Slowly, the limo started moving, my inside tickling with joy. My first outing with Silver and Synn!

I watch the grand street of New York City. The street was gorgeous than I had imagined. Back then when I was still with my family, I wasn't allowed to go out unto the streets or walk around it. I was taken custody of my breathing space and freedom. I didn't have the best childhood.

I turn away from gawking at the street to see what was going on at the side of me. But immediately regretted it in an instant when I turned to have found out that Synn was sitting next to me.
