"What's with the holdup?" A woman shouted on her voice as she stirred up in the market with her grocery back in her left hand.

She had been in the market for more than 28 minutes and was looking for her 15 years old son who she sent to get veggies from the market. She had spotted a part of his t-shirt on her way when she was wandering.

She turned around the corner, clenching her grocery bag that was filled with some veggies. She was sure she had seen him pass by but maybe her eyes were playing tricks on her.

"Aye!" A man shouted. She turned around to the voice and looked closely to see if he was the one talking to her. "Me?" She pointed her index finger to herself in doubt.

"Yes, ma'am. Are you looking for your son?" He asked her, mischief dancing in his tone. She squinted her eyes closely at the man in suspect and nodded. She didn't like that a stranger was talking to her. An old man for that cause.

"I saw you running to get a young boy with a t-shirt that was coloured blue. He didn't pass by here but I guess you might be shocked when I tell you he's now the centre of attention now and his body is now rotting in hel-"

"Hold up!" She called out. She didn't understand a thing he was saying to her. "Centre of attention? Where is my son? How am I sure you're talking about him. Please, sir, I have to look for him." She pleaded with a sigh.

He chuckled and shook his head, maneuvered. "You don't believe me? Your son is dead and is now rotting in hell." He explained.

Her eyes trembled with fear and worry. She dropped her grocery bag and shook her head not wanting to believe a single thing the man had just told her. "What the fuck!" She cursed loudly.

"I can show you his body. He was hit by my car." He smiled and walked a little further to where a pool of blood was gathered and a dead body laid down on the ground.

The woman screamed, her hands trembling as she got nearer to the body. She looked down at her son's body and shouted. "My baby!" She shrieked. She turned to look back at the murderer of her son only to find him no longer there.

Down in the depth of hell, the young teen looked around in confusion, his forehead had a hole in it. "Where am I?" He asks in wonder. As he woke furthermore into the place, he came across the Lukewarm to see where the torment was taking place.

"Um, excuse me?" He raises his hands up to get the attention of the guards who looks at him with disgust. "Where am I and why are these people making my ear bleed so badly?" He looks at the sinners who were shouting as hot flames lick up their skin.

Two of the guards look at him and gave him a cheeky smile. "Welcome to hell." They greeted walking forward, approaching him. "And what is your sin, son?" One of them questioned with a clamp of his hands. They looked happy to see a sinner.

But instead, the boy just threw a laugh and look at them in shock. "Really? Hell? What are you two morons saying?" The boy asks, blood gushing out of his forehead. The two guards just look at themselves and smirk. "I think I know what you committed now. You were killed by a motor vehicle? Too young though but who cares? You're going to be having a lot of fun here with us."

And without warning, he was thrown into the lukewarm. His clothes suddenly melted into ashes until it was nowhere to be seen again. Hot flames gush out from underground, intruding on his skin terribly. His screams were louder than that of a woman in labour.

"God, this fucking burn! Get me out of here!" He pleaded as he screams. One of the guards goes around the corner and throws a spear at him in which pierce his chest. He turned running but a pop of flames gushes out and traps him back. He looks up to see a big rock that kept rolling until it drops on him, mashing his head in liquid. That didn't stop there.

In hell, you don't die immediately. It depends on your sin. The woman who died of spear happened to be a nurse who took part in abortions. Her sin wasn't bad in the eyes of the guards so they just let her died in peace. But that didn't say for the young boy. He was going to spend eternity in hell.

Linda huffed for the sixth time in a day as she looked up at her ceiling, laying on her bed flatly. She was sure she was going to die of boredom anytime from now soon. Her hair was neatly tied in a French braid.

She lounged up from her bed and decided she was going to go into the library to check out some books. Although, she didn't know how to read she could admire the covers of the book.

She locked her door and noiselessly sneaked into the library that she had remembered clearly where it was.

The library was always clean, likewise the house itself. She was deadened by the beautiful design of the library and found herself touching the shelves and desk. The books looked eyes catching, if only she could read.

She draws herself closer to get a view of each book. Each of them is in different colours and designs. She couldn't read out the title but she knew it was an amazing book.

Not even realizing the figure that was close to her, she jumps on one of the sofas with a book in her hands. It was a popup book filled with different colours. She giggled as she turns to the next page and a picture pops up.

Linda had stayed in the library for more than thirty minutes. She didn't keep track of time and supposedly, she didn't bother to look at the figure that had been watching her close by, his figure leaning on the wall.

Her eyes weren't tired still as she kept looking at each diagram. She could understand a bit from the diagrams what the story was telling. It was only when she looked up did she meet the eyes of Owel.

She had never seen anything like yellow eyes before. The intense glare from Owel was sure to send her off the sofa and onto the ground in confusion and fear.

Had he been there watching me ever since?

She looked back at him, plainly dropping the book on the sofa. His eyes softened at the gesture but he still pulled the tough face.

"You can continue reading the book." He said strolling towards her. She flinched at his voice, surprised at how rough it was.

Not as rough and deep as Synn's.

"I-i wasn't reading." She said glancing at the book she had dropped. "I was just admiring what it had." She said.

Owel didn't look like he was a tough or wicked guy. He looked like the kind to play with kids but still make them cry. He was a vampire.

He hasn't let her know of that though. He was the librarian.

"I see." He snaked going around the shelves and ramping through it. He looked back at Linda who just stared in thoughts. "What are you thinking of?" He questioned with a knowing gaze.

"How had you get in here?" She asked. That wasn't what she wanted to ask but she knew well.

"I'm the librarian. I take care of here and see to who comes in except master." He replied with a smug.

Linda didn't like how he looked at her like he wanted to eat her. His eyes were yellow which still attracted her a bit. She didn't know there were beings with yellow eyes.

"I'm l-Linda." She introduced with a proud smile. Owel just nodded with a hum. "Owel."

Owel. She thought about it. Sounded strange and foreign.

"It was nice meeting you Owel." She waved deciding she was done 'reading' for that day. Owel still gave her second thoughts. How had she not seen him come into the library?

She put back the book she was once studying through and escaped the library, going downstairs. She was now hungry and needed to eat.

When she entered the kitchen, the first being she laid her eyes on was Geletino.

"What would you like ma'am?" He asked her out of the bloom. She smiled privately and said. "Do you have fruits maybe?"

He quirked a brow at her but doesn't say anything and goes in to get her fruits. He later returns with fresh apples and watermelon along with berries.

"Thank you." She greeted collecting it from him and walks back upstairs. As she passes by, her eye glances to the black door.

All through the morning, she hadn't seen Synn.

She shakes her head and walks into her room.

This Owel catches her as he watched her door click shut.
