She woke up with a hand on her shoulder yanking her up. She had remembered everything clearly, the peculiar dream.
She rubbed her eyes, groggily. Her mouth opened broadly, a yawn flying through her lips.
"1st of July." Andrew's uttered. Linda's eyes sprang up awake at the mention of the date. Then, it had dawned on her.
3 months were over
She didn't know if she was to cry or be nabbed. Her emotions were all over the place as she kept remembering the words. Andrew just stared. He didn't know what to say. He wanted to do the honour of waking her up and remembering her.
"Get up and get dressed. We leave in 30 minutes." And then he left leaving the bugged Linda on the bed, tears brimming in her eyes.
Hurt
She couldn't explain how she felt or even how to feel.
Was this how her life was going to be?
Used?
Her emotions were getting stronger as she thought about it. She felt like she was being used. Used to gain something. She didn't know in distinct what it was. But she felt angry. Angry at herself for not voicing her emotions out for Andrew to know.
She stayed in the same position she was woken up at for 5 minutes, her mind rushing. Tears ran down her cheeks as she sucked in a hiccup and a whimper.
Everything had failed.
The door was thrown open as Abriana walked into the room, her expression floundering. She knew well enough not to bother the girl but she just came to talk to her. To know her she felt and how she was going to accept the truth.
"Sweetie." Abriana started taking a seat next to her on the bed, the bedsheet depressing. "Morning."
Linda saw nothing good in today's morning. A morning of sadness, she thought.
She grabbed her hands, pressing it."How are you doing?"
In return, she didn't hear anything from the little girl. Her mood was dampening the whole room. Linda, frozen in place just sat there.
For the whole 30 minutes, Abriana had helped Linda get ready for the journey. A journey where she didn't want to encounter.
At exactly 10:00 AM, Linda was fully dressed in her attire. Abriana had walked her up to Andrew where he was now changed to a new cloak. Close by, Breth watched.

"Ready?" He asked, his gaze fixed transitively on Linda who just stood, not ready to talk. He arched his eyebrow, finding her mood considerably beguiling. "Deaf all of a sudden?"
When she didn't speak, Breth decided to take the spotlight. "Are you sure she's his bride? Doesn't look fit for him." She coughed out, her eyes perilously fixed on Linda's frame. Breth, from the start, had always been jealous when she first found out about Linda being Synn's bride. She envied the girl furtively.
After all those years, she had spent in hell, she never did found her mate. She hoped a day will come when the devil would notice her and here she was, looking at the bride of Synn.
"Don't be rude." Andrew shushed. "You'll see very soon."
He lengthened his hands out for her to take in which she took as he led her to the dining room for breakfast.
Fast
That was the only word you could use to describe how Linda heart was racing right now. She wasn't in her usual state of mind anymore- calm, collected and preserved. She felt pity for herself. She couldn't save herself or help herself. She was alone in this battle.
A plate of greek salad and bacon was lied flat on the table for her. She didn't need to be touched twice to know that she needed to eat. Abriana just watched silently from afar. She was sure going to miss Linda for sure. Her time was short spent.
----
"You need to hold on to me tight, you might fall."
Andrew and Linda had been standing next to the gruth's place for more than 12 minutes. Andrew was just giving her the safety precaution before teleporting but Linda didn't understand why. At first, she thought it was through transportation but then hell wasn't on earth.
She coiled her hands around Andrew's neck, protectively cognizant. Andrew stared down, rolling his eyes, he wrapped his long thin hands around her waist.
"This is not going to work." He muttered under his breath. "I need to carry you bridal style. The journey is a painful one." He informed.
Linda didn't want to object, but she was not comfortable with Andrew carrying her and Breth watching them both argue.

"I don't like that," Linda stammered. "Can't I just walk?" She questioned.
"No-
"Can you two stop arguing like children? We could both hold your hands and teleport you there. I can't keep standing here and watch you guys fight over bridal style!" Breth yelled.
Linda's cheeks were flushed as she quietly nodded.
At both ends, Breth held Linda's hand along with Andrew with the left hand. "Gosh, I can't believe I'm touching you." Breth squawked.
Linda couldn't explain how she felt when she started feeling lofty and weak. She looked down at her feet to see that her legs weren't touching the ground anymore. She looked back but they weren't at the gruth's place anymore.
Her body shrank in terror and tension. Her legs shuddered as they teleported, the wind blowing at high speed.
Whish!..
She couldn't hear anything. Everything was quiet. "Open your eyes, Linda." Andrew cold voice-controlled. "We're here."
Linda squeezed her eyes open, almost then, just almost, her jaw dropped.
In view, she could see the intense flames of the heat. Her eyes were now opened taking in the screams of the people.
Just at the corner, she saw two huge men standing as they both laughed at the people that languished in the flame. It was horrifying to even watch. At the other end, she spotted a group of men. They were all holding on to spears. Spears that innocent blood was stumbled on.
She orally whimpered, her tummy dropping. She felt sick to the core just standing there and watching.
How could they do this to people?
She watched as the fire climbed into the skin of the people and burnt them, every second putrid.
She just wanted to run and never come back. She didn't want to look back. Even better, she wanted to go back to the villa. Coming here was a mistake.
As they took a turn, she heard a terrifying scream that made her jump. Tears were streaming down her eyes, sobbing unobtrusively.
Breth rolled her eyes. "Wipe those bullshit!" She commanded. She drew her fingers on Linda's face, wiping the tears gently off her face.
Linda stood on the grounds in shock, surprised by the sweet gesture.
In front, stood an enormous building made of gravel and slabs. It held a foreign aura no one could imagine. She gasped, her body itching to touch the building. It was made of finely put-together materials and well produced.
As they advanced, Linda could sense somewhat of danger. She felt like something was going to go wrong somewhere. It was just an unsettling feeling.
They stepped into the building, Linda's eyes almost going blind. No one could come to put together how the interior looked like. The theme was black and red with a little gold. Although it was adorned with scary objects and figures, it still made the building looked striking.
From the entrance, you could see the encrusted and well-stacked staircase that was made with pure gold. The stairs were made with glass and pure shimmering gold. If you stood in the middle, your eyes could go on and on for ages trying to sort out where the stairs ended.
Drifting your eyes, you would be able to see the black curtains that covered the whole room, the kitchen and the big chandelier that hunged up high above.
Everything was Breath taking.
"Follow me." Andrew ordered with a fixed gaze. Linda took that as her cue to follow him behind, her eyes occasionally glancing at every spot of the room. Once they arrived at the corridor, Andrew threw his cloak on the floor and abruptly froze.
Literally, Ice frozen.
Linda felt like her body had stopped and that she couldn't breathe anymore. Her eyes were thrown back into her sockets as she stood there dumb strucked. She couldn't believe what she was seeing, Andrew had turned to ice in an instant. She needed to know why or what was even happening. She looked closely at the figure, Andrew was still blinking in the frozen state.
She turned to run and scream for someone's help but what she saw stopped her dead on track.
Let's rephrase that,
Who she saw stopped her dead on track.
