Even though we may have the best plans laid out for ourselves, obstacles appear, and events do not always turn out the way we want them to. This is especially true in this time of pandemic, which has had a large impact on multitudes of people around the world.
We may make our plans, but God has the last word. People may make plans in their minds, but the Lord decides what they will do.
─ Proverbs 16:1, 9 New Century Version
In spite of these days of uncertainty and wickedness, we should strive to remain optimistic. While it is natural to experience such feelings as anxiety or sadness in this life, we should not allow ourselves to be discouraged when the Lord God is always with us.
But O my soul don't be discouraged. Don't be upset. Expect God to act! For I know that I shall again have plenty of reason to praise him for all that he will do. He is my help! He is my God!
─ Psalm 42:11 The Living Bible
If we put in our best effort when it comes to obeying all of God's commandments, we will not have to worry about staying down when we fall; for He will help us to rise again.
The Lord guides us in the way we should go and protects those who please him. If they fall, they will not stay down, because the Lord will help them up.
─ Psalm 37:23-24 Good News Translation
While we strive to pursue our dreams as we continually traverse this world, there is something much more important than our earthly aspirations and goals. And that is, to worship and serve our Creator.
Lord listen closely to me and answer me, because I am poor and in need. Guard my life because I am faithful. Save your servant who trusts in you─you! My God!... Listen closely to my prayer, Lord; pay close attention to the sound of my request for mercy. Whenever I am in trouble, I cry out to you, because you will answer me... Teach me your way, Lord, so that I can walk in your truth. Make my heart focused only on honoring your name... Make your servant's life happy again because, my Lord, I offer my life to you.

─ Psalm 86:1-2, 6-7, 11, 4 Common English Bible
Hence, while we still have our life and strength, no matter what happens, let us dedicate ourselves in bringing glory and honor to His Most Holy Name. And we will be blessed abundantly in this world; more importantly, we will have a place up in His heavenly Kingdom.

Sleeping Through the Apocalypse
Our 'valiant hero' Mark just finished a 72-hour VRMMO marathon and passed out as soon as he reached his goal. His rest is disturbed by patch notes, but he sleeps as the world he knows ends, and a terrifying game begins. Join Mark as he discovers the wonders and horrors of the new world that awaits him. This is 'realistic' and chaotic. There is cursing and gore. I do my best to imagine how a person would actually handle the apocalypse, and the answer is "not well."

Vast Asleep
The story of Kingard the Binder in the aftermath of Broken This short story is the epilogue of Broken, the second book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. It’s a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers but is set apart from the full-length narrative. Vast Asleep follows the story of Kingard, who finds himself caught in a world called Mother's realm, bathed in glowing light but strangely stuck in place. He encounters his greatson Varyan there, and learns that his experiences are likely dreams. As he grows more accustomed to the loving realm around him, Kingard remembers fear and trepidation about the face of the world, and he loses contact with his companion. This story answers the question, Is Kingard really dead? with a tentative no, and new mysteries brewing. It also raises the question, What's happening while he's awake? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Ride Awake, about Kingard's situation with the Colkh'rak. Praise for Tales of the Known World Bookends: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between the epilogue and prologue is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well. -- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★

The Anomalies
There are things in this world unable to be explained by science and common logic. Some call it magic, some call it miracles, others, anomalies. Many people live and die without ever knowing or encountering one. Some met one somewhere in their life and never again. A few people dabble in it in their daily life. While a select few was ridden with it since birth, shaping their life into one twisted story. This story follows one such man, as the anomalies brought him further and further down to the abyss of hell, and a woman whose whole life revolves around mastering anomalies and monitoring people who have contacts with them. The synopsis isn't final. If you have any suggestion on how to improve it please do comment in one of the chapters or contact me. P.S The cover isn't mine. If you want it removed just contact me.

Criminal Lord
Terry Isenburg, the greatest assassin who killed thousands of powerful officials and even led an army of people to reform the world had finally killed his final target after many years of suffering and effort. Changing the world was in sight. Until he was betrayed... Although, even in the abyss of death, two choices were placed before Terry. Enter the Trial or Hell? Watch how the man who nearly took over the world now attempts to take over a world of sword, monster, magic, and one hella strong tarantula... I made this story because I always wanted a dark fantasy isekai with a hella fine backstory rather than an idiot being run over as well as having sustainable, epic scenes with a badass main character. All of which I believe my story has. (Although I'm bad at managing levels and experience and I have little imagery since I hate imagery) One other thing, the first volume may be kinda boring/repetitive but I can guarantee loads of badass action in volume 2 so please stick around. (I would also appreciate the views) If you like or dislike the story, please write a comment or review about this story to help me improve, but please don't hate on the story without explaining why. I also hope that you readers share the story to give me more support. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the story. [The cover is something I made poorly but it represents something in chapter 9-10]
