Ogiwara, Kagami and Akashi slowly letting go Kuroko as they could feel the resistant become lesser. The three of them silent for a while, feel grief on making Kuroko suffer.

"He will sleep for few hours" The doctor informs them.

"Wh-what actually happen to him?" Kagami stutters as he asks the doctor, he still can't believe what just happened.

"I can't explain. I need him to calm down first so that I can check what is wrong with him. If he awake, please call me. I will check on him again" the doctor says.

"He not speaking well, why? Don't you know?" Ogiwara asks.

"Not speaking well? Means not intelligent?" The doctor asks for the detail.

"Yeah seems like that. He has a problem in arranged them well and word that he uttered is confusing me" Ogiwara explain.

"Aphasia" the doctor utters

"What?" Kagami and Ogiwara ask back.

"Aphasia is an illness caused by brain injuries. The person who develops this illness will have a problem in talking and writing. They could speak and write but it is not intelligent and sometimes they change the word that they thought the same although it is not" Akashi says as he remembering back the term that he has found before.

"Yes. That true" The doctor agrees.

"How did you know?" Ogiwara curious.

"I have done some research on the brain ever since Kuroko-kun starts having a brain tumour. Just to be prepared" Akashi answers.

"It seems that Kuroko has developed Aphasia. I need to do the MRI as soon as possible to check what is happening to his brain. Please ready for the test. We will do that right away" The doctor orders the nurse to prepare what necessary. The nurse nods and exiting the room.

"We will bring Kuroko to the test room. You should rest for a while until the test is done" The doctor informs and excusing himself then.

Next, a group of nurse come and push Kuroko's bed exiting the room. Kagami, Ogiwara and Akashi just stand there, thinking of the fate of their dear friend.

"Kuroko-kun, we will conduct a Neurological test on you today. Are you okay with that?" The doctor asks, smiling warmly at the bluenette who currently sitting on his bed.

Kuroko takes some time to understand what the doctor said to him. A minute later, he returns a smile to the doctor and nods his head. "Okay"

His friend is waiting outside the room as requested by the doctor except for Akashi who insist so. It's not like the other didn't protest but the doctor said that he want Kuroko to be alone as the test is going on. He doesn't want Kuroko's emotion being disturbed. Akashi is merely as an observer since him able to control his emotion and avoid on making any distraction. He stands at the corner of the room to get the best view.

He observes Kuroko. The bluenette has started developing mild epileptic seizures since he woke up from that horrifying dream. His head tends to shook slightly and sometimes his left pupil is larger than his right. Maybe the latter didn't realise it but they do. Every single change in their dear friend, they do notice. They care for him just how he care for them.

Akashi remembers back what the doctor said to them.

"The result of the CT scan show that there is no bleeding in his brain. However, there's a lot of fluid meaning that the tumour is still growing"

Akashi's eyes show pain look but he makes sure that Kuroko can't see it. Things have been harder each time pass. Their hope on Kuroko's recovery has vanished in a blink of eyes.Yet no one can't accept the fact that Kuroko is slowly slipping away from their grips, just like how sand does. Later, there will be no Kuroko living with them. How will they adapt with that?!

"You need to follow my finger with your hand" The doctor instructs as he pulls out his finger and moves it in front of Kuroko. Kuroko does follow but it seems slower than usual. When doctor's finger already at the end of the right side, his eyes just move from left side following it. After several times repeating it, the doctor nods and write on his clipboard.

"Next, I want you to squeeze my hand as hard as you can"

"..Okay"

Kuroko squeezes the doctor's hand as hard as he can but the doctor's face remains the same, showing that Kuroko's squeeze didn't bother him at al. It's too plain. It is no different between Kuroko's usual grip and squeezes.

"You can stop now" The doctor smiles. Kuroko let go of doctor's hand.

The doctor brings out his small torchlight and torch on Kuroko's left and right eye. Only his right eye give a reaction on the sudden light but not his left eye which dilated and unreactive.

"We are done now. Thank you for your cooperation, Kuroko. You may rest now. The nurse will give you the medicine, don't forget to eat them okay?" The doctor keeps on smiling, talking as soft and slow as he can. He knows that Kuroko is having trouble with information intake and his own reaction to his surroundings. This caused by swelling and the existent of liquids in Kuroko's brain.

Kuroko smiles then nod.

The doctor rises up from his seat and gives some hint to Akashi to follow him. Akashi nods and follows the doctor exiting the room. The only one who inside the room is Kuroko and the nurse who is currently helping him to lie back on his bed and cover the blanket on his body.

When the doctor and Akashi standing outside the room, everyone surrounds them, waiting for the words and explanation from the doctor.

"H-how is Tetsu?" Aomine asks nervously.

"It's bad then we think. He's reaction is too slow and even his body didn't have the strength in doing as simple as squeezing. We need to reduce the swelling in his brain. I will supply Dexamethasone and Etoposide capsule to help with the swelling" The doctor explains.

"Will he be in pain?" Momoi asks worriedly.

The doctor smiles. "The medication will not hurt him but to help him. The only things that hurting him right now are the tumour. If the swelling can be reduced, he will be able to react normal again"

"If Kurochin will feel better by taking the medicine, I agree for him to take them" Murasakibara gives his opinion.

"Can he go back home?" Kise asks with a sad look. Kuroko dislikes hospital and Kise knows that well.

"For now, he can't. We will see his condition in two days. If improve, I will give the permission for him to go back home" The doctor replies.

The nurse who help Kuroko before, come out from the room and stand next to the doctor.

"I need to go now to prepare the medicine" The doctor gives his excuse and starts to walk forward together with the nurse.

"Thank you, doctor" They all bow and thanks to the doctor.

After a second passed, they turn toward the door, open it and one by one of them start to enter the room, mind to themselves to remain silent so that they didn't disturb with Kuroko's rest.

"He already fell asleep" Midorima notices first.

"It must be tiring for him" Kagami brushes Kuroko's bang to the back of his head. The bluenette didn't bother at all, keep on sleeping.

Momoi grips on Kuroko's hand and gives a sad look. "Please Tetsu-kun, stay strong for us. We can't bare of losing you"

The atmosphere becomes silent so suddenly, everyone is grieving on how useless they are right now. They only could pray for Kuroko, keeps on begging for Kami-sama's help.

The Seirin come for a visit today. They just finished with their school and directly go to the hospital, bringing the thing that Kuroko wish to meet. They knock on the door first before entering them as they hear someone give them permission to enter.

"Kobanwa" Kiyoshi greets as he enters the room. The other following him.

"Kobanwa. Come in, Kuroko-kun has been waiting" Akashi smiles. The other of Kiseki no Sedai welcome them with a smile on their face.

"Domo minna" Kuroko greets them with a warm but tired smile. On his forehead, there's a cold compressor and at his right side, there are two bottles of IV drips which connect to his wrist. He tries to sit up but fail. Ogiwara helps him and puts two pillows on the back of Kuroko's back, supporting him.

Riko takes a seat next to Kuroko. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, just caught in a little fever" Kuroko smiles.

"You're not, baka! It's been two days and your temperature still didn't drop even a bit. I don't recall that as fine" Kagami protests.

"Kagami-kun" Akashi mentions Kagami's name in a warning tone. He doesn't want to depress Kuroko more. It already bad enough that Kuroko is stressing out about his tumour. No need to add another.

Kagami chills. "Sorry"

Riko grips on Kuroko's warm hand, instantaneously taking the bluenette attention to her back. "You need to take it easy okay. Don't stress yourself. It's not good for your health"

"Okay," Kuroko nods.

"You must be looking forward to seeing him again, right? Here" Hyuga takes a bag from Mitobe and put it down on Kuroko's laps.

Kuroko opens the zip excitedly. The past few day, he been depressed all day long. But looking he smiles today is a good thing for the Kiseki no Sedai. After all, Kuroko's smile is always a magnificent thing in to see.

"Arff!" Nigou jumps out from the bag and licks on Kuroko's face. Kuroko caught Nigou in time and giggles as Nigou starts to lick him.

"ahaha.. Stop it Nigou. It tickles" but Nigou keeps on licking. It's been 2 weeks passed since he being separated from his master. He missed his master but need to stay behave in the care of Seirin. They have promised him that they will bring him see his master as soon as his master's condition stable. The day that he's been waiting for all this time have come and that's already making him so excited, so is his master. They are a best friend. There's no need for explanation to describe their strong relationship toward each other.

Kuroko pushes Nigou a bit, give a little space between them. He then kisses and hugs the dog so caringly.

"I'm glad to see you again Nigou. It's been a while right?" Kuroko asks Nigou.

"Arff!" Nigou barks as his tail move from right to left in excitement.

"Nigou, you can't bark too loud. This is a hospital. They will catch us for bringing you here" Koganei warns Nigou but he is the one who looks so nervous.

"Don't worry. This room is sound proof" Midorima assures Koganei which the brunette sighs in relief.

"Nigou, help us to feed your master okay?" Ogiwara says to the dog. Kuroko frowns.

"But I'm not hungry Ogiwara-kun" Kuroko gives a pleading look.

"Ops, that look will never work on me. The others may so" He smirks as he observes the others' face who look have taken sympathy toward Kuroko's pleading look.

"Here. Say aaaa" Ogiwara moves a spoon of porridge to Kuroko's mouth. Kuroko closes his mouth tightly. Didn't give even a space for Ogiwara enter the spoon toward hi mouth. He just doesn't have an appetite now, he doesn't want to upset his stomach more. Yes, he has started to vomit and have nausea again since three days ago. The doctor said it's due to the pressure that the tumour gave him, the medication that he took only help on drove the liquid only.

Ogiwara takes back the spoon to the bowl, looking so sadly.

"Kurochin need to eat. It's delicious, I'm the one who made it special for you, Kurochin" Murasakibara tries to persuade Murasakibara.

Kuroko wants to replies but stops as Nigou's bark started him. He moves his attention toward Nigou on his laps, who looking at him with a pleading look. For few minutes, Kuroko and Nigou keep on staring at each other, like they are talking by using their mind only.

"Alright, I will do so NIgou" Kuroko sighs in defeat.

"Arff!" Nigou excited as he declaring his winning.

"Ogiwara-kun. Can you give me the bowl?" Kuroko asks politely.

"For what?" Ogiwara asks in confuse. He still passes the bowl, though.

"To eat of course," Kuroko says as he starts to eat the porridge.

"Ehhh?!!" The others scream in surprise, including Akashi.

Akashi picks Nigou up, looking at the dog disbelief. "Just how you able to do that? We have tried everything to make Kuroko-kun eat but you just stare at him and then everything settles?!" Akashi almost lost his composure when he tried to make Kuroko eat but nothing successes. No wonder he too becomes surprised.

"Arff! Arff!" Nigou barks excitedly.

"Come with me," Akashi says as he moves toward the door with Nigou in his hand.

"Where are you going, Akashi-kun?" Momoi asks, wondering what Akashi want to do with Nigou.

"I will dissect him to make him as one of my experiment tools," Akashi says calmly and continues his way to exiting the door.

"Nooooo!" Momoi screams as she runs toward Akashi and confiscates Nigou from Akashi.

"Don't do that, Akashi-kun. He is not experimenting tool!" Momoi protests as she hugs the dog firmly.

"We don't need him to steal Kuroko from us" Akashi's dark personality come out, the possessive one. He can't accept that he have been defeated by a dog. A DOG.

"Tetsu-kun!! Look at Akashi-kun. He wants to dissect Nigou" Momoi complains to Kuroko.

"He will never do that. I assure you" Kuroko smirks.

"Ehh, Kurokochii smirks!" Kise shouts in surprise.

"Oh, you dare me Tetsuya" Akashi's orbs change into a gold and red one.

"The Emperor Eyes!" Aomine squeaks.

Furihata chills as soon as he heard the Emperor come back

Some of them already back off. They know how dangerous The Emperor is.

"Kuroko, you baka! What should we do now?" Midorima panics.

However, Midorima's eyes widen as he saw Kuroko's body swaying before falling to the bed with a loud thud. The porridge spill on the blanket as the bowl fall from Kuroko's hand.

"Kuroko!" Midorima runs toward Kuroko and supports Kuroko's upper body with his hand, tries to wake Kuroko up.

"Tetsu-kun!/Tetsu!/Kurokochi!/Kurochin!/Kuroko!" They scream as all of them runs toward Kuroko. Panic arise in them when they see Kuroko collapse so suddenly.

Akashi who is the nearest from Kuroko before, stand there silently. He's eyes widen in fear. Slowly the gold and red orbs change back into crimson red orbs.

"W-what happen?" Akashi asks as he observes the panic situation in front of him. When he sees Kuroko's limping body on his friends' hold, he panics.

Akashi runs toward Kuroko and pushes everyone out so that he can get on the bed to check on Kuroko. When he found out that the body that he is holding right now feels so hot, he asks the other to call the doctor.

"I am sorry Kuroko-kun. I shouldn't give the emperor controlling back my body. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Don't leave us!" Akashi starts to cry, which started the others. It is not usual for them to see Akashi cries.

"ehehe" A sudden giggles could be heard from Kuroko. All of their attention turns back to Kuroko who is still giggling. His sky blue orbs shine so brightly.

"I know this plan will success," Kuroko says between his giggles.

The others dumbfound, Akashi too.

"You pretend?" Kagami asks disbelief.

"I pretend" Kuroko smiles.

"Whattttt?!" The others scream in unison.

"K.U.R.O.K.O.K.U.N" Akashi's bang hides his eyes.

"Yes, Akashi-kun" Kuroko sweat drops.

Akashi hugs Kuroko tightly. "You made me worry! Don't and I mean it, don't ever do that again! You make my heart stop beating, I am so worried! I can't lose you too. Not after I lose my mother. No.. I can't lose you" Akashi cries as he keeps sniffing. Kuroko shrieks at the tightness of Akashi's hold.

"Oi, Akashi. You hug too hard!" Aomine warns Akashi but Kuroko stops him with a warm smile.

"It's okay. I know this will happen" Kuroko says as he raises up his hands and replies Akashi's hug.

"You know, although you always keep your emotion down, I know what is inside your heart. The others always express their emotion but not you. We are the same, that's why I know you will react like this one day. Now, I'm relief that you let them out. Soon or later I will die, but I will regret if I am the one who makes you cry and suffer. I don't want that to happen" Kuroko let go of his hug and push Akashi to see the others' face.

"You must remember, the others is always by your side. Look, they are worried about you. They never know what you're feeling if you didn't express it. They are important to you and you are important to them. Please treasure them as you treasure me as good friends" Kuroko continues.

"Tetsu-kun.." Momoi starts to cry.

Akashi closes his eyes and smile. He turns toward Kuroko with a huge smile on his lips. "Thank you so much Kuroko-kun. You made me realise the things I have always ignore before. Thank you for being my friend and thank you for always care for me. Thank you" Akashi hugs Kuroko.

The others start to cry and hug Kuroko too.

"Thank you for being my friends, Minna-san. You guys are my precious peoples in the world and I will never forget your kindness toward me. Ever" Kuroko tears of happiness flow down his cheek.

Nigou just watches them as he keeps on moving his tail from left to right. If anyone could read dog's expression, they could see that Nigou is smiling so happily.
