He just hopes he able to live his life fully before the time comes.
In the end, his friends never again mention about the surgery. It's just like their decision on that never happened. They just enjoy every moment they have with Kuroko. No one ever showing their sadness anymore in order to avoid Kuroko to feel depressed or sad. In weekdays, they will eat together for lunch and dinner. When weekends come, they will gather in Kuroko's room with games. Day by day, Kuroko has learned to know them well. Although he has lost his old memory, he just needs to learn and add them as new. With everyone helps, he able to do it in a short time. He feels thankful for his friend's effort and by having them by his side, he never feel lonely. Maybe this is what his old self felt before. How precious they are to him.
Two weeks later.
"Is he still sleeping?" Ogiwara asks as he enters the hospital room with a bucket of fruits inside of it.
"Ouss" Kagami greets as he follows Ogiwara entering the room.
"Oh, Ogiwara-kun, Kagami-kun, Ohayo. Yeah. He usually a morning person but not today. However, he looks peaceful, though. I'm wondering what he is dreaming about" Akashi replies.
"You can't tell? Usually, you could. The Emperor eyes" Kagami says as he points at his eyes.
"Well. That ability has long gone. That's my second personality's ability, not mine" Akashi replies calmly.
"No wonder I never saw you use it recently," Ogiwara says as he puts the bucket on the table.
"Yeah, I can't give him the control again, although he saved me several times. I don't want to waste my time with Kuroko-kun" Akashi says.
"Time huh?" Kagami mumbles.
"If I have the power to stop the time, I will make our time last forever with Kuroko by our side" Kagami looks a bit depress all of sudden. He knows. No.. Everyone knows that time is ticking too fast and the day they fear of, will come without them even realising. The silent killer disease. Although they can laugh together now, there's always the possibility they will cry later. Just like the previous time. Everything happens all of sudden. No warning bells at all.
Ogiwara takes his seat next to Kuroko's bed and softly brushes the blue sky hair with his hand.

"Shut up. Why are you so relax there?! Help me here if you want it so fast!" Aomine replies with annoying looks.
"Popcorns ready!" Kise announces at the counter of the kitchen.
"Come," Kagami says as he moves toward Kise to retrieve the popcorns.
"Hold me tight Kuroko-kun" Ogiwara picks Kuroko up to moves him at the couch.
"I will keep the wheelchair first" Akashi pushes the wheelchair toward Kuroko's room.
"Here" Ogiwara places Kuroko on the couch and make sure Kuroko feel comfortable.
"Thank you, Ogiwara-kun"
"No prob. You're welcome"
"Hayaku Daichan. Everyone is ready now" Momoi complains.
"Arghh.. I don't know where to connect this wires!" Aomine screams in frustration.
"You're hopeless. Let me" Midorima says as he connects the wires to the right place. Second, later, the movie is ready to play.
"Just-just how?" Aomine stutters.
"You see it right? Idiot" Midorima walks to his place on the couch before.
"I am not an idiot! I just don't know how" Aomine protests.
"Then, why are you volunteering?" Momoi asks.
"um.. just.." Aomine trails off, searching for a good reason. The real reason he just wants to show he capable of doing everything. He never knows he fails this time.
"Idiot" Midorima says again. He can guess what in the ace's mind.
"W-what?!"
Before it becomes more complicated, Akashi orders everyone to stop, which everyone obeys. You should avoid making a mess with Akashi or else you will never see tomorrow.
As they enjoy the movie, there's shout and scream outside the house. Akashi asks them to pause the movie so that they could hear clearer.
"There's fire! Akashi-sama! Get out from the house!!" A maid screams.
"Fire?" Murasakibara asks as he turns his head around the house. His eyes widen when he saw fire outside the house from the window.
"Hurry up! Get out from this house!" Murasakibara shouts in panic. First time in their life looking at the snack-addicted guy panic. They know it is bad.
"The door is locked! I can't open them! Ouch!" Kagami screams in pain and pulls his hand instantaneously. The doorknob was so hot like it is on fire.
"Search for another route!" Akashi orders as he starts to think other routes too.
"The kitchen already on fire!" Kise screams in fear.
"Relax. We need to stay calm in this situation" Akashi tries to calm everyone. Panic will only worsen the situation.
"Get on me Kuroko-kun" Ogiwara on his knees in front of Kuroko. Kuroko moves his body on Ogiwara and Ogiwara piggyback Kuroko securely.
"The roof! Let's go" Akashi shouts.
"*cough *cough" Momoi coughs before falling to the ground. Her breath intake is not stable. She has inhaled the poisonous smoke.
"Satsuki! Are you okay?" Aomine runs toward Momoi.
"I'm okay. I just can't breathe" Momoi replies between a cough.
Aomine picks up Momoi and runs back toward them.
But his path stuck in the middle when a wood suddenly falls on them. Aomine's leg stuck. He screams in pain.

"Aomine-kun!" Kuroko screams as he tries to go down from Ogiwara's tight hold.
"Kuroko-kun! Not move. You will get hurt!" Ogiwara alarms.
"Aomine-kun! He stuck there. I need to help them!" Kuroko screams.
"I will go! I promised I will follow later" Kise says as he runs toward Aomine and helps Aomine and Momoi.
Kuroko looks in worry.
"They will be alright. We need to go first. Kise promised to catch up with us later" Midorima says. He needs to act tough so that the other can move on. He need keep his faith on Kise.
"Okay. Let's go" Akashi says as he points to where they should move.
When they reach the stairs that lead to the roof, Akashi orders Ogiwara and Kuroko to go up first, which they obey.
When they stand on the roof, they could see firefighters are starting to distinguish the fire. The maid screams in relief when she saw Kuroko and Ogiwara at the rooftop. The firefighters prepare the air mattress so that they could jump safely.
One by one of them starts to gather on the roof.
Kagami starts to panic suddenly. He is on his way to climb the stair when he smells something.
"Gas! There's a gas smell!!" He screams as he climbs the stairs in hurry.
"This is bad. Kuroko, Ogiwara! You need to jump first!" Akashi orders. He starts to feel panic too. Gas is the worst thing they need to avoid now. It will cause an explosion with the help of fire which is chasing them since the beginning.
"No! Aomine-kun, Momoi-san and Kise-kun are still there. I can't jump before I help them!" Kuroko screams in fright.
Ogiwara let Kuroko down on his own two feet. He falls instantaneously. Although he is lying right now, he still makes his way to go back to the house with hardship. He wants to save his friends.
"I'm sorry" Ogiwara mumbles before he picks Kuroko up and let Kuroko fall to the ground first.
Before Kuroko's body reach the ground, the explosion happen. Kuroko's eyes widen as he screams for his friends. The roof crumbles and his friends can't jump as they start to fall along the crumbling roof. He screams for their name and cries as he remembering the past.

"I need to go to the cafeteria to buy some food to eat. Can you accompany him for a while?" Akashi asks Kagami.
"Don't worry. Although you're not telling me, I will do so. Go recharge yourself." The three are currently standing in front of the door outside the room.
"Thanks. Tell me if you want anything" Akashi says before making his way.
However, before they could do anything, there's a sudden whimper sound from inside. Instantaneously alarming the three of them. They could tell the whimper come from who, since there is no one else other than Kuroko who is inside the room. They run toward Kuroko, entering back the door. Kuroko is breathing hard and still whimpering. He looks scared. They try to calm the bluenette.
Kuroko's eyesight is doubling, he sees six people in front of him instead of 3, who trying to calm him down. When he recognise Ogiwara's face, he pulls out his hand to hugs the brunette. Ogiwara takes Kuroko's hand in his hold.
"Ogiwara-kun lonely leave me don't scare to leave help" Kuroko cries as he utters nonsense. The three guys in front of him look confused. They can't understand what he is trying to say but they still put their hand are on him to give him comfort and tell him that everything is alright.
"Everything is alright Kuroko-kun. Everything is okay" Ogiwara is worried. Just what causing Kuroko to act like this so suddenly. He was sleeping so soundly before.
"Kuroko-kun, calm down. You need to calm down" Akashi whispers at Kuroko ear.
"No leave me don't please" Kuroko keeps on muttering.
"What are you trying to say Kuroko? I don't understand" Kagami asks.
Kuroko shakes his head. "Hard hazy double weight add"
"What is he trying to say? I can't understand" Kagami stills confuse. His hand is holding Kuroko's head, raising it a bit so that Kuroko can see them well.
"Me neither. I can't understand him. He tries to say something, the things that scare him" Ogiwara looks at Kuroko sadly, he want to cry looking Kuroko this helpless, this scare.
"I will call for a doctor" Akashi exits the room in hurry.
Kuroko tries to get up with hardship. Kagami helps him by supporting Kuroko's back with his strong arm. He pulls Kuroko's body to meet the head of the bed. Kuroko once again pulls out his hand to reach Ogiwara and when the latter accept them, he pulls Ogiwara into hug, crying even more as his body's trembles in fear.
Ogiwara returns back Kuroko's hug and rubs his back to calm the bluenette. "What are you dreaming of Kuroko-kun?" Ogiwara asks softly to Kuroko's ear.
"Fire you everyone burns you escape can't" Kuroko hugs tighten and have no hint on letting it go.
"There is no fire. It's just a dream" Kagami rubs Kuroko's head with a comforting smile.
"Kagami-kun. I lost I can't you too" Kuroko moves his right hand on Kagami's face. His hand tremble. Kagami could feel how cold that pale hand is. He frowns.
"The doctor is here," Akashi says as he runs toward Kuroko with the doctor.
"Kuroko-kun, you need to let me go. The doctor needs to check on you first" Ogiwara begs for Kuroko to let him go.
"I lose can't die don't me leave" Kuroko cries harder, scare of losing Ogiwara.
"I won't go anywhere. I will stand next to you. Just let the doctor check on you" Ogiwara persuades Kuroko.
"Don't" Kuroko protests.
"I'm sorry," Kagami says as he forces Kuroko to let go Ogiwara. Kuroko screams and thrashing, crying even more as his friends are holding him firmly on his bed. His friends close their eyes, ignoring the pain look on Kuroko's face. A nurse comes with a needle and gives it to the doctor. The doctor injects Kuroko with it and slowly Kuroko could feel the effect. He became drowsy and then lost consciousness.
