《My rude jerk》Misunderstanding

Good felt so happy to be going out to eat with Technic but he couldn't get rid of the feeling that something was wrong with his youngster, like something was bugging him.
"You're a very handsome fella" Fleur said after she'd seen Nic's face clearly.
They were now sitting in a chinese restaurant of Fleur's choice. Good and Fleur sat on one side of the table and Nic on the other side. After hearing Fleur's words he picked up the menu and covered his face with it. Good saw what Nic did but didn't think highly of it, though he'd liked to watch Technic. They all stayed silent while choosing what to have until Fleur broke the silence.
"Good, I don't think I can finish the servings here alone, they're too big"
"But you chose the restaurant" Good said slowly.
"I know but it was not because I have actually been here before but because I wanted chinese food" Fleur said in a whiny tone that Good got used to a long time ago but it was always as affective.
"All right, let's order something together and share it" Good said in a soft voice.
"Okay" Fleur said in a cheerful voice and patted Good on the head "What do you want to eat?"
"Just what you want to eat" Good said and smiled softly at Fleur and than at Technic that had been glancing up from the menu from time to time the whole time but when he saw Good's smile he covered his face with the menu. Good would have thought Nic was cute when he acted like that if he didn't know why he was like that.
After ordering the food they finally got time to talk.
"So, Nic, how old are you?" Fleur asked and smiled an angelic smile.

"I'm fifteen" Nic answered in a cold voice that Fleur didn't hear but Good knew that something was wrong with Nic.
"Ohh, I actually thought you were a little older than that" Fleur said and crossed her arms on her chest.
"Mhm, I hear that a lot" Nic said now in an annoyed voice so Good decided to change the subject.
"How is France, Fleur?" Good was sure he'd already asked that but he just couldn't stand watching Technic's handsome face looking like that.
"It's just fine" Fleur said and looked at Good with question in her eyes but then she seemed to understand something and said "The food is awesome and the people are very nice"
"Ohhhh, that's cool" Good said and glanced at Nic that didn't seem happy.
"I'm going to the restroom" Nic said in an empty tone and got ready to stand up. He tried to stand up but he fell back on his chair holding his back.
"Are you all right?" Good said in a worried tone and got up to check if Nic was sick but was told off immediately.
"I'm okay, P" Nic gave Good a deadly glare and tried to stand up again which he managed with great pain on his face.
"Did something happen to your back, Ai Nic?" Fleur said with pity.
"Yes something happened" Nic said and stared at Good with resentful eyes. "I carried our P home yesterday" Nic said and pointed to Good's forehead. "and if you find out what idiot decided not to have an elevator in that house then you can tell him I want to have a short talk with him"
"You carried him home?" Fleur said in a tone Good had never heard her speak in. She somehow sounded interested and excited.

"Yes and you wanna know why I was here?" He didn't wait for an answer. "I was on my way to the pharmacy to get medicine for my back. Now excuse me" Nic walked away in an irritated manner and didn't look back. When Nic was out of sight behind the restroom door Good grabbed his hair and shook his head as fast and hard as he could(wasn't that fast or hard).
"What was that?" Fleur said and grabbed Good's hand.
"I was drunk yesterday and Nic found me" Good said suddenly regretting that confession.
"WHAT!! You were drunk and your junior carried you home?"
"I don't know"
"You don't know?"
"I don't remember okay?"
"But you remember him finding you drunk?" Fleur didn't believe that Good could only remember that. "Did you do a mistake with him?"
Good nodded
"You slept with him?" Fleur said a little louder than she intended but she didn't seem to care. "Good that is not okay. Is that why he's been acting like that? Was he consent to it? Did you force yourself on him or ra..." Fleur let all of that out and Good was going to let her finish but changed his mind when he found out where she was going.
"No, non of that"
"What then?"
"I just kissed him and told him I liked him that's all"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure"
"And he's angry because of that?"
"I think so, but if I think about it than he's normally like that just a little more talkative and sarcastic"
"Awwwww, that's so cute. I'm so happy for you" Fleur hugged Good tightly and whispered in his ear how happy she was that he liked someone. When they were younger Good was so introverted that he had no friends or girls except Fleur so no wonder she was happy. Good completely understood his friend and hugged back. While the two of them hugged they didn't realise that somebody had just gotten out of the restroom, somebody angry. Nic stormed to their table, grabbed his jacket and walked outside. Good followed him and caught him right outside the restaurant.
"Ai Nic what's wrong?" Good asked Nic that stopped for a few seconds but then he started walking again. Good grabbed Technic's hand and desperately asked the same question again.
"I'm fine, P" Nic said without looking at Good. "Now let go!!" Nic said and ripped his hand out of Good's and stormed away.
Good was left standing there, his heart in pieces. Why couldn't Nic just tell him what was wrong and he could fix it for him. Good walked all the way home and the second he got into his apartment he started crying. He cried for whole two hours and wouldn't open the door for Fleur when she got back. He was heartbroken and needed time to be alone with him shattered feelings and hope. Good knew his feelings for Nic weren't just a little crush, they were there to stay.
He knew he loved Nic and that he wasn't ready to give up.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
