《My rude jerk》Old friend

Good couldn't believe his own eyes when he opened the door and saw her, his only happiness as a child. He had been in a bad mood but now it seemed like his negative feelings vanished into thin air.
"Fleur, long time no see" Good said shyly.
Fleur and Good first met when Fleur's mom came to Thailand for work. Good's parents were working for the same company and on the same project as Fleur's mom. Fleur's dad left her and her mom when she was an infant and never returned so it was always just Fleur and her mom until Good came around. Good's parents worked a lot when he was a child so he was almost always alone or at his grandma's house where she would talk to him and give him candy. But when he was he was five years old she got sick and passed away a year later. He was ruined after the loss of his grandma and best friend but then Fleur came and they became best friends right away. Good was very antisocial when he was younger and had almost no friends but Fleur changed that and helped him open up to other kids.
"Hey, Good" Fleur said and hugged him.
Good was taken aback by that sudden hug but he still hugged her back.
"I've missed you"
"But you were still the one who left without a word and never visited or even called" Good said in a tone that was supposed to sound accusing but instead it sounded mild and loving. Good had practiced a whole speech for her when or if she would ever show up again about her leaving him like this. He just missed her so bad that he didn't feel like being angry at her right now.
"I'm sorry, I had to go but I came back, see" She said the last word in that sweet and cute tone that Good loved so much and it just reminded him of how much he's missed that voice for the past years.

"Alright, please come inside" Good was still in a shock because of this sudden surprise visit.
Good and Fleur walked inside Good's small bedroom and Fleur sat down on his bed but Good got himself a chair and sat down against her.
"How have you been for the past years?" Fleur asked braking that awkward silence between them.
"Just fine. How about you, how's France?"
"I've been doing well and France is just so-so"
"Why? Iv'e heard it's very beautiful there and that the food's great" Good was a little surprised by his old friend's answer. "It must have been great to come home"
"What do you mean? I'm home right now"
"No I'm talking about the country you were born and brought up in"
"Yes you've heard right France is very beautiful and the food is phenomenal but it isn't my home, Thailand is my home my true home" Fleur looked dead serious when she said that but then she smiled. "And that's why I'm never leaving again"
"Really?" Good jumped off his chair and hugged Fleur. "You've promised" Good said and gave her a kiss on the forehead. He loved kissing her white and soft forehead like when he was younger he used to do it all the time.
"Of course, I'll be staying here with you"
"What about your mom?"
"She was actually the one who told me to come here" There was something off about Fleur when she said that but Good wasn't really thinking about what was wrong just that his friend was back at last.
"That's great news but how did you know where I live?"
"I dropped by at your parents' house and asked them" Fleur said and thought that would explain the reason but her friend was just as slow witted as he was when they were young so he just looked at her in confusion. "I figured they'd still live in the same place as before, they really seemed to love that house"

"Oh yes, they still live in the same house as I or we grew up in together for eight years" Good said finally realising what his friend meant.
"They said that you haven't had time to visit them for a while" Fleur said and looked at him with a serious look on her face. "Are you sure it's because you're busy?"
"Yes, of course"
"Alright, then why don't we go and pay them a visit right now, you don't seem so busy right now and it's Saturday so you shouldn't have a class am I right?"
Good thought about an excuse but couldn't find any.
"Ohhh fine" Good said in a heavy tone. He didn't want to see his parents. The last time he met them they had a huge fight and he hasn't wanted to see them since then.
"Okay, let's go" Fleur said happily and stood up.
They got to a bus stop way too far away from Good's condo.
"Is this really the closest bus stop?" Fleur said in a suspicious tone.
"No"
"Then why are we here?"
"Because this is the closest stop where a bus stops that goes as far as my parents' house"
"Why don't we take a taxi then?"
"Because it's too expensive and it's cheap to take the bus"
They stood there and talked about the old times and all the funny and happy times they had together like when they snuck out in the middle of the night to meet each other just to have some ice cream together or when Fleur wanted to get to the top of the big tree in Good's yard to get a better scenery over the neighbourhood so Good climed up the tree and was going to help Fleur up when he slipped and fell. That was the first time Good broke a bone and his parents were so angry. They laughed and laughed at all these weird stories when a bus stopped in front of them. They didn't show the bus any attention even though they should have.
"Hey!!" Good yelled as he realized that they weren't at the right stop and that they had missed the bus.
"What?"
"This isn't the right bus stop, we must move to the next stop"
"Shouldn't we just take a taxi?" Fleur was getting tired of waiting.
"No"
"Fine"
They started walking to the next stop. When they were about half way there they bumped into a boy that hadn't been looking where he was walking.
"I'm sorry P" The boy said and looked up. He looked shocked when he saw who he bumped into.
Good's heart was beating like a drum. It was Ai Nic, the love of his life. Good froze. He couldn't do anything or say anything. This was so awkward, the boy he had confessed his love to and kissed him even though he knew he was straight just last night was standing in front of him and Nic didn't look comfortable with this situation at all.
"Hello P" Technic said and Waiied to him and Fleur and she waiied back but Good didn't move at all.
