Amy- Age 14
Izuku- Age 14
~Toshinori's POV~
By the time we left the hospital, it was dark. Amy had a broken wrist and due to using her quirk earlier had fainted so we prolonged our stay so the doctors could run a few tests and make sure she was alright. I had no idea her quirk was that strong, to stop a bullet, not one but three. Had Ayumi's quirk ever been that strong? I couldn't remember. If she could stop bullets, perhaps it was entirely possible she could lift a house. Her quirk wasn't even fully developed and it was already so much stronger than she could handle. She'd been quiet the whole time we'd been at the hospital. She put on a brave face and didn't cry or complain even when the doctors poked and prodded her. Not even when they set her wrist before putting it in a cast, did she make a peep.
"Honey, what's wrong?" I asked her worried as I tucked her release papers into the pocket of my baggy cargo pants and we headed for the exit.
"You were supposed to be helping Midoriya today..." She looked away from me and I felt my heart clench, she'd been feeling guilty all day and I hadn't even realized it.
"You don't have to worry about that." I smiled, "besides I'd already given Young Midoriya his training regimen for the day, he knew what to do for the rest of the day, he didn't really need me there." I tried to reassure her.
"Dad?"
"What is it, Princess?" I was glad she was starting to talk again.
"How did you know I needed you?" She asked curiously.
"Makoto mentioned she needed to stop by the bank this morning, Young Midoriya subscribes to lots of hero bloggers and one of them sent out an emergency alert about a hostage situation at the bank." My mind had gone blank as soon as Midoriya read the alert on his phone. I took off, I wasn't even sure I'd said anything to him before I left. I hadn't even checked my phone to see if he tried to reach me, I'd been too worried about Amy.
"Oh...I should probably thank him then..." She gripped my hand in hers and I noticed a slight tremor in her fingers. Though she'd been putting on a brave face all day, the whole ordeal had really shaken her up. "I was wishing for you to come save me."
My heart constricted in my chest, as I thought of her scared and alone, crying for my help. What would have happened if Young Midoriya weren't such a fanboy? I couldn't bear to think about it any longer. I released her hand and wrapped my arm around her slender shoulders pulling her against me as we walked.
"I just wish I'd gotten there sooner." I hugged her close.
"A-at least no one got hurt." She smiled softly.
I cleared my throat, "pretty sure the cast on your arm says otherwise."
She looked guilty again, "I'm sorry."
"What for?" I stared at her in awe.
"It was my first time going out without you, and I got hurt and now you're going to worry anytime I leave the house."

I chuckled at this, "I'll worry anytime you leave the house, regardless, because you're my precious little princess and its my job to worry about you."
She leaned against me with a smile before glancing around as she realized she had no idea where we'd ended up. "Where are we going?"
"The doctor said you should take it easy, which means no cooking, so what if we had ice cream for dinner?" I beamed causing her to giggle.
"I don't know that ice cream is good for dinner." Amy's sweet laughter warmed my heart.
"Sure, it is."
"Okay, I'll remind you of that in three months." She teased me with a giggle.
"Ah, maybe my parenting level went down a little." I sighed as I realized my mistake.
Amy smiled, "I don't think so, I still think your parenting level is at infinity."
We came to a stop at a little ice cream parlor. There was a sign out front with the special of the day, peach ice cream. I paused as I saw the sign but froze in place as I spotted a familiar head of unruly dark green hair standing at the counter.
Amy noticed I'd frozen and looked down at the sign thinking it was what had caught my attention, "Dad, just because they serve peach flavored things doesn't mean I'll die if we go inside." She poked at my side with a smile, "otherwise grocery shopping would be a lot more dangerous."
"No, that's not it, let's go somewhere else." My voice cracked a little. I remembered the conversation we'd had when I told her about Midoriya. She said she'd probably like him and for some reason that concerned me. What if she him? I could hear Ayumi's voice screaming in my head I don't care how sweet the kid is Toshinori! Don't you dare let any filthy boys near our daughter!
As I was about to whisk her away, Midoriya was handed a bag of to go pints and he turned to leave. His bright green eyes grew wide as he spotted me through the door. Oh no! Oh no! What was I supposed to do?!
"Dad? Are you okay?" Amy asked me sounding worried as she lightly tugged on my shirt sleeve shaking me from my internal panic as the fanboy scrambled toward the door.
"Ah! All M-!" I hurriedly slapped a hand over the fanboy's mouth before he could draw any attention to us, I was in my weakened state, I didn't need my secret getting out. He continued blabbering through my hand frantic with worry no doubt asking me if I were okay and what had happened, rambling on and on.
Amy picked up on the slip up right away and looked to the fanboy curiously. She was far too smart for her own good. Her bright blue eyes flicked up at me, filled with suspicion. She was already working out that he was the reason I'd suggested we leave. Why did she have to be so amazing?
"Midoriya?" She asked me curiously.
I sighed she'd figure it out anyway if I tried to hide it from her, "Midoriya." I confirmed with a nod.
"Huh?" Midoriya's muffled voice sounded from my hand over his mouth. He turned his gaze to Amy and I felt the faintest fleeting sensation, like Ayumi was here punching me as hard as she could in the spine as the fanboy's eyes grew wide as saucers and his face turned a bright shade of scarlet.

I sighed again and removed my hand from the fanboy's mouth only to grimace and wipe my hand on my pants to get rid of the little bit of his saliva that resided there. "Young Midoriya, this is my daughter, Amy."
"D-D-daughter?" The fanboy's face got even redder. He tried to string words together but was failing miserably. Barely audible absolutely non-coherent things kept spilling from his lips, like a babbling idiot.
I glanced down at Amy and once again I felt the faintest fleeting sensation that Ayumi was here punching me again, aiming for my kidneys this time as her lips pulled into a small sweet shy smile. No! Not good! Not good! Abort! Abort! My own internal voice was screaming in my head over Ayumi's enraged shrieks. She didn't need friends, not of the boy variety!
"It's nice to meet you." Her soft sweet voice shocked me; I'd never seen her talk to someone her own age before!
Toshinori! You're a dead man! Ayumi's wail of rage echoed in my mind as I watched Amy extend her hand to Midoriya in polite greeting. I saw Midoriya start to come to his senses and reach for her hand. My body moved on its own catching Amy's hand in my own.
"Princess, why don't you go order us some ice cream?" I pointed her in the direction of the ice cream shop's door.
She looked to me curiously, "I thought we were leaving?"
"Of course not, we just got here, and besides I need to talk to Young Midoriya about something." I smiled nervously.
Amy looked thoughtful for a moment before obliging and heading for the door. She paused as she reached the door and turned back to smile at Midoriya, "...thanks for sending my dad to save me earlier." She bowed her head politely and for a fleeting moment I thought she'd done some kind of cute little half curtsy that nearly sent Midoriya into cardiac arrest. Her sweet shy smile stayed in place, "it was nice meeting you, Midoriya." A faint splash of color stained her cheeks before she turned and escaped into the ice cream shop.
Midoriya stared after her in a daze. "...I just talked to a girl..." He said in a mystified voice with a dreamy look in his eyes.
"No, you didn't." I shook my head at him before realizing the boy was absolutely smitten. "Young Midoriya, she's not just any girl! That's my daughter!" I brought him back to his senses and he paled suddenly.
"Ah, r-right!" Midoriya turned away from the shop. He started muttering under his breath, something about a blog and a fanclub and 'she's even cuter than they said'.
"Hey! Fanboy! That's enough!" I groaned. "Wait...what fanclub?!"
"Huh? Oh, right." Midoriya reached for his phone and opened one of his ridiculous fanboy apps. It was like a wikia page for heroes. He went to the All Might page and to an article about the mysterious daughter of All Might that had recently made an appearance. It wasn't like I was keeping her a secret I was just trying to keep her out of the media for her safety. I brought her to events with me and told anyone who asked that she was my daughter, I just hadn't really made any public announcements in interviews or anything.
I skimmed the article it was from a blogger who'd attended one of the events I'd brought her to. There weren't any photographs for which I was grateful but there were some poorly drawn pieces of fan art portraying what I assumed was supposed to be Amy as a Disney Princess. There was fanart?! Ayumi didn't prepare me for fanclubs and fanart!
Midoriya looked to the shop where Amy was standing at the counter looking over the different flavors of ice cream. "Ah! She's injured?!" He turned white as a sheet as he took notice of the cast on her hand. "D-did that happen today?! Is she going to be oka-?"
I clapped my hand over his mouth again as he started babbling. "She'll be alright...and yes it happened today." I sighed, "get going before your ice cream melts, I'll see you tomorrow."
Midoriya took one last look at the ice cream shop as Amy glanced our way. Their eyes met and I groaned inwardly as an endearing sweet and shy smile lit up Amy's face. Midoriya had his own matching awkward grin before waving to her. A faint blush claimed Amy's pale cheeks and she waved back shyly.
"I like you fanboy but if you don't leave now, I might have to hurt you." I said through gritted teeth causing Midoriya to let out a yelp and scramble away. Once he was gone, I looked up at the star speckled sky with a sigh, "Ayumi, I'm way out of my element here...what do I do?"
UNITED STATES OF SMASH!!! Ayumi's voice echoed across the back of my mind.
"That might be a tad bit excessive... but I guess it's good you're just as irrational in my head as you always have been" I chuckled before heading into the ice cream shop.
Amy looked up curiously, her eyes hopeful and searching to see if Midoriya had joined me or not before her smile faltered slightly. No. I wasn't ready for boys yet. "Everything okay?" She asked me after a moment.
I wrapped my arm around her shoulders as I realized it was quite chilly in the ice cream shop. "Yep. What's for dinner?" I grinned.
She frowned, "you didn't want me to meet, Midoriya...did you?"
"What? No, that's not quite it." I stammered, of course she'd caught on, Ayumi did say it was impossible to hide things from her.
"You said I'd like him, but you don't want me to like him?" She asked me with a confused look trying to understand my odd behavior.
"...I'm just not ready for you to like boys yet..." I admitted with a sigh.

The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
