《Fierrochase One Shots》Since You Don't Mind

Alex (F)
I was approached by a blonde girl at breakfast, her hair was shoulder length, eyes a bright blue, the color Magnus hated. She was wearing a deep red dress with white flowers on it. Her makeup was pretty intense, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, she looked good.
"Alex, right?" She asked.
I nodded. Without invitation she sat next to me "So, I'm Jenna, could I talk to you about something? Like in private?"
What the hell?
I shrugged and she dragged me down into one of the corridors, which was mostly empty "What is it you wanted from me?"
She collected herself, then let go of a long sigh "I wanted to ask you about Magnus."
Why ask me?
"What about him?"
Jenna fidgeted with her fingers, first twirling her thumbs, then a strand of hair "Is he, you know, single?"
The question shocked me for some reason. Of course I knew the answer, we were pretty close after the whole wedding ordeal, he was single, but I was pretty sure that Jenna wasn't his type. At least I kind of hoped, which confused me.
"Well, is he?" She asked, getting impatient.
"M-Magnus, is-"
"I'm what?" A familiar voice laughed.
My face flushed involuntarily, then Jenna turned excitedly.
"Oh, hey Jenna," he said happily.
Oh gods that hurt for some reason. He noticed her first.
"Maggie," that was my nickname "what's up?"
Magnus shrugged, pushing part of his hair back, was he, flirting? His lips were curled slightly at the sides and he wasn't standing normally, yeah, he was.
Why did it matter to me if he was flirting or not?
They kept talking. Talking and ignoring me while I stood there, gaping like some sort of fish. I wasn't one hundred percent sure I hadn't turned into one. After a while I saw Magnus' fingers snapping in front of me. He was close.

I jumped back "What?"
It came out more harshly than I wanted it to.
"You were just spacing," Magnus muttered.
Her hand was on his shoulder. He wasn't pushing her off.
"Uh, yeah, I've gotta go, to my room, I think," I murmured, rushing up the stairs.
I wasn't sure why I was rushing, or why I didn't stop until I got inside my room.
I paced around looking at the pictures on the mantel, the ones that were just there, one was a picture of my old pottery studio friends, then one with my sister, Magnus, Blitz, and Hearth. The only new one was one with Magnus and I, his arm was around my shoulder and our cheeks were pressed tightly against one another. He had taken that with Blitz's phone, why did I have it?
The only pictures up were ones that I thought were super important.
I felt a sudden burst of anger and yanked it off the shelf, holding it tight, I noticed tears dripping down onto our faces. I dragged my sleeve across my eyes and sniffed, I didn't know why I was crying but all I could think of was Magnus with that girl. It made me sick.
I skipped lunch, I had been planning on skipping dinner too but someone knocked on my door.
"Go away, I'm not hungry," I half yelled.
"C'mon Alex, there's cake," Magnus' voice said sweetly from the other side of the door.
That sweet voice he used, it could get me to do anything. Though I didn't want to go, because I felt angry, or something, I stood.
"Be there in a sec Beantown," I chuckled lightly.
"Alright Cheetah girl," he laughed.
I smiled to myself, then went over to my mirror. My eyes were puffy, nose was funny, and my hair was a mess. That needed to be fixed.

I had the sudden urge to make Magnus see me, not Jenna.
I brushed my hair and put part of it into a braid, clipping that up and spraying it into place. I then did my makeup with pink sparkles and some wicked eyeliner, mascara, then a soft pink lipstick. I grabbed one of my green dresses, Magnus liked green, and put it on, along with some black heels.
Damn I looked good.
I rushed to the door, Magnus was still in front of it.
The second his eyes fell on me he started stuttering, which gave me a sense of pride.
"Come on Maggie, you're drooling," I teased.
He checked his chin, oh gods he was so cute.
Wait, what?
"Whatever, let's go," he managed to say.
We walked down the hall, halfway down I realized that I was at least an inch taller than Magnus, which almost made me laugh.
After we were downstairs we sat where we usually did, ate, then Jenna pulled me aside again.
"So, uh, you don't like Magnus, right?"
I felt my face flush "Uh, w-what? No?"
That, I figured out after I said it, was a lie.
"Yay! Okay so since you don't mind me liking him, I was wondering if you would help me ask him out?"
She seemed so hopeful, with her high ponytail or blonde hair, bright shimmering blue eyes, but I didn't like that.
"I mean, why though?" I asked.
She seemed confused "Because you just said you don't like him."
"Well, maybe I do, maybe I don't want you two to be together because I like him," I stated much too loudly.
Jenna was about to say something, but she was interrupted "You do?"
Shitshitshitshitshitshitshit.
I had only just nearly admitted it to myself, and that voice was Magnus'.
"Shiiiiit," I whispered under my breath.
"She's just jealous because she wants to be your only friend, and it's not like you two could even date, she can't even be your girlfriend all the time, you'd have a boyfriend half of the time."
I glared at her, why did she care who I was, and why did she think she had the right to say that.
I was about to rip her head off of her shoulders, but Magnus put a hand on my shoulder.
"Jenna that was really uncalled for, Alex can be whoever she wants to be, and if I decided to date her I wouldn't give a fuck if she was a boy or a girl, just that she was happy, okay? If you think you can insult her and get away with it you're really, really wrong there," he said angrily.
Jenna was even more confused "But you're straight."
Magnus shrugged "Not really."
Oh that shocked her, she stormed away, I laughed a little "Thanks."
Magnus turned to me, suddenly nervous "Was that true?"
I shrugged, then nodded. He hugged me without a warning. "Oh gods, good."
"What?"
"I like you too Alex," he laughed.

Myth Of Men
Gaming isn't a way of life. With reality reduced to rubble and ash after a nuclear war, these fictional worlds of entertainment now serve as reality to many survivors. And, amidst all the addicts and try-hards, one person rises to the top with ease. Known as Hiiro, Henry Johnson is infamous for quickly dominating every game that hits the market, and departing from them even more quickly. It's no surprise when he's offered a chance to beta the world's first VRMMORPg: The Myth of Men. But is there something sinister hidden underneath the facade of what promises to be a fun game? Please note: the below is true, but due to my continued haitus, it's on the failed pledge list as of now with my other series. This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Credit for winRoot for doing my commissions. Mature language: 15+... If you ignore this it's your choice, not mine. Enjoy~

The Saga of Geir Røshjert
"His name will never be sung, son. Skalds and bards like me will never tell his stories to the mass. But only us and us alone will keep telling his story, his actions, his saga. For he is the man who started all of this." This is a story no man in Lumenter will ever hear, no man except for an Arnesen, for his stories are dull and generic to the ears of the masses, except for us, because he is the very reason why our people traveled this far east, why kingdoms in Erisgi fell and rose, why I... even existed in the first place. He is Geir, son of Arne, called 'the Stranger' by the people. But what he truly is, is a fiery red heart that beats inside every Eyklandian, Arnesen, and me.
