Ironic how a great sadness contains far too many voids. holes that are too large to be filled by commonplace items when all it has ever done is preserve love, grieve over losses, and exist in the gaps.

Old wounds will bleed and scars would recur, but everything would eventually heal. However, the irony of a healing heart is that it would still hurt if you only had memories of them all over you when you woke up.
