There are days when I don't miss or think of you quite as much, but I understand that you're there, moving forward in the background of my thoughts.

I still adore you until it gets to the point where the memories I've been trying so hard to forget suddenly come flooding back.

then another day squandered away in grief for something that cannot be fixed and thinking we could have returned to our former selves if I had just tried harder.

However, if someone didn't think I was valuable, nothing I could do would be adequate.
