"i got out the box today. the box of your things... i wore your sweater. i looked through all the pictures. all the guitar picks you left at my house. all the ticket stubs from the all the concerts and the movies we went to. i sat there on my bedroom floor with that box of your things spread out around me, mascara running down my face, and jason walked in... he walked in and i-i saw something change in his eyes. i saw the light he had when he looked at me go out. i saw the realisation that everything was over come across his face. and the worst part was when he-he just nodded and he picked everything up and put it back in the box... he helped me up and held me in his arms and wiped my tears. he said it was okay... i asked if he hated me. he said he would always love me, even if i still loved you. i told him i just needed some space, i just needed some time by myself to think about everything. he said that it might take a while, but he also said he would wait. i told him i loved him, that i didn't want this to be the end... he just told me he loved me more, that it was okay. he told me that i really needed to think hard about this, about everything, that i needed to be sure because...because he didn't want me to get hurt...by you."
