"merry christmas. i know i haven't called in a week and a half or something, but to be honest, i've only gotten out of bed to go to the bathroom. i haven't eaten, but i've been drinking quite a bit of vodka... anyway, not much has happened since i last called. i decided not to go visit my family today though. i've got scars and needle marks and tear-stains and bags under my eyes and they all talk too goddamned loud... god, i miss you... but, um... i really do hope you have a nice christmas. no matter what happens today though, im sure it'll be nicer than mine."
