Finally, the day of Fleur and Bill's wedding came to The Burrow. Molly Weasley was on the brink of insanity with the preparations and before the guests even started arriving, she was swaying on her feet and sweating profusely. Arthur had to settle her down in the living room while everyone else put did the finishing touches for the ceremony.

Fleur had Ginny and her younger sister Isabelle helping her get ready in Ginny's room upstairs, while Bill and Charlie were doing minimal touches in their shared room. Outside, the Order assembled the large tent that would act as the church and reception for the wedding. It was white and had a white carpet that emerged from the field where the guests would arrive. The weather was favourable and everything had gone according to plan, thanks to Molly's excessive need to have everything perfect. She had yelled at Ron at least twice since he had walked down for breakfast and walked back upstairs to clean his room. Harry followed him around for most of the day with an amused smile on his lips; him only needing to take Polyjuice Potion to appear like a long lost Weasley cousin, Barney. The Order wanted to take every precaution to protect Harry and make sure that no one they weren't completely sure of recognised him. The rest of the Weasley children had been folding napkins and polishing cutlery ever since they'd gotten dressed.

Blair had been helping Ginny with her gold, tight bridesmaid dress when she decided that she too should be getting ready. Fleur had made it clear that no black should be seen on her dress and had given her one to wear that she thought was perfect for her. Blair had cringed at the sight of the silver sheen of the material and nearly fainted when she saw the matching shoes. But for Fleur on her wedding day, she disappeared into the bathroom and pulled on the horrible clothing and ghastly shoes.

Imitating the half up, half down hairstyle that she had seen Hermione walking around with, Blair looked in the mirror and hoped she'd explode from the amount of silver she wore on her pale, thin body. No matter how much she hated the colour, she had to admit that silver complimented her skin tone beautifully. It was the first time she could see the necklace George had given her years ago against something other than the heavy dense blackness of her usual clothing. The silver chain brought together the outfit and the purple gem hung against the neckline of the dress. She looked nice. She felt grown up.

Leaving the bathroom, Blair headed downstairs to see how the tent was going outside. The ceremony would have heavy security from the Order and she would be patrolling the perimetre during the end of the reception, when the guests would be due to leave. Fred and George would be joining her, making the rest of the wedding a time to enjoy the dishes Fleur's family had brought and Molly's delicious home cooking.

She reached the bottom floor and went to head out the back door in the kitchen, only to find Harry, Ginny and George already occupying the space. Blair stopped in the doorway and watched as Ginny and Harry locked lips, while George tiptoed around the dining table and picked up the cup of tea that was sitting on the kitchen counter. He had a freshly changed bandage around his head which now had a slight gap to allow the wound to start healing naturally. Sticking out of that exposed hole, was his purple toothbrush.

"Morninggg," George sung smugly once Ginny and Harry realised he was there. He then winked at the two, making Ginny rush out of the room with her face turning a deep shade of red. She passed Blair on the way out and hid the smile that was growing behind her hand. Blair wore her own amused smile and saw George give Harry a certain look, causing the boy to leave in the same direction as Ginny.

"You're awful," Blair said once they had left. She stepped into the kitchen with her arms crossed, stopping in front of George. He wore a black button up shirt that had flecks of white all over it and his famous purple vest that Blair remembered from the Yule Ball. Only this time, his head hung a bit more to the right from the balance lost from the lack of his left ear.

"I know," he shrugged and put the cup down after giving it another sip. He then turned back to the girl and stared down at her with his eyes twinkling brightly. "You look beautiful. It matches the ring."

Her hand was taken into his and the silver ring was brought up into view. She hadn't realised that the dress matched the engagement ring as if it was made for it. It had been marvelled over enough in the past few days after the announcement of George's proposal, yet she still couldn't overcome its beauty and flawlessness. The rest of the Weasleys were overjoyed to hear the two were engaged and were already anticipating the next wedding that they would be attending very soon.

"I heard the Minister for Magic turned up," Blair mentioned, liking the fact that her hand was enclosed by his warm one. "Was he expressing his congratulations to Bill and Fleur?"

"His wedding gift was a toaster!" George joked and Blair laughed lightly. "No. He sat down with Harry, Ronald and Hermione. I think they had some deep talk about Dumbledore."

She hummed in reply and thought about what Rufus Scrimgeaour could have wanted to talk about with the three youngsters. The man had taken over as Minister after Cornelius Fudge had resigned in Blair's last year at Hogwarts. He was a tight faced man with long scraggly hair. The Ministry had been reassured that he would get them through the time of You Know Who being on the loose. Fudge had nearly ruined the reputation of the Ministry entirely after the Dark Lord had appeared after denying any claims from Harry's experience at the infamous graveyard.

"Shall we go greet some guests?" George suggested, his smile charming and his hair ruffled messily, just how he liked it.

"First, take that out of your ear," she reached up and pulled the toothbrush out of its hold. She cringed and dropped it down on the table next to her. "You know it'll get infected if you do things like that."

George ignored her and pulled her out of the kitchen, his fingers lacing with hers and brushing against the ring encasing her finger. The tent was ready and guests were starting to appear through the long grass. You could decipher who originated from the Delacour family, and who was part of the Weasley family. Fleur's parents had turned up during the previous days and had surprised everyone with how polite they were. They were friendly and didn't mind staying at The Burrow with all of its compact and cluttered glory.

"Blair, you know how you've wanted to meet our Great Aunt Muriel?" Fred appeared next to her, his grin mischievous. "Well here's your chance! Aunt Muriel, this is Blair!"

The woman was hunched over and dressed in the ghastliest shade of purple. Aunt Muriel's face was wrinkly and covered in age spots, her clear eyes being the only give away as being part of Arthur's side of the family. Blair resisted the urge to step back in pre-empted fear and stuck her hand out politely, hoping the woman wouldn't clutch her hand and somehow swallow her with her overly purple attire.

"Blair? What an unnecessary name," the woman sneered, ignoring the hand shake and looking at George who stood next to her. "You haven't really picked this one, have you George?"

"I actually have," he pulled up his and Blair's entwined hands and ensured to show the glittering ring in the sunlight.

"Hm", Muriel humped and walked away, heading into the tent and disappearing with the scent of her strong perfume lingering behind her.

"That went better than I expected!" Fred cheered. "She could have really ripped into you."

"That was not worth the wait at all," Blair sighed, causing the twins to grin at each other.

Blair met many redheads that were cousins, aunts, uncles and distant relatives of the Weasleys. All were much nicer and more welcoming that Aunt Muriel, and were excited to here that she would also be apart of the family in a matter of months. George liked to show her off throughout the ceremony and when they all sat down for the exchanging of the yet to married couple's vows; he showered her with kisses on the cheek to rub it in the faces of his cousins.

"The ones behind us constantly teased Freddie and I when we were little," he said into Blair's ear. She glanced over her shoulder to see three twenty year old boys behind them, all with their arms crossed, frowns on their faces and sitting low in their seats.

"What did they used to tease you two about?"

"That we'd never get any pretty girls by looking exactly the same. But look at me now."

Blair couldn't resist smiling and laid her head on George's shoulder, just to push it a little further into his cousins' faces. Grumbles were heard behind them and the two were satisfied, watching Bill stand at the front in his tux; content and excited for Fleur's entrance.

Fleur soon entered the tent and stood facing her fiancé at the altar. Ginny and Isabelle stood in their golden dresses behind her while Charlie stood in his own tux behind his older brother. An old wizard had a book open in his hands and began reading lines that had been a tradition at all magical weddings for decades. Outside, Remus and Tonks patrolled the perimetre of the tent but kept an open ear for the vows that were exchanged between the special couple.

"Then I pronounce you bonded for life!"

Everyone stood from their chairs and applauded as Bill and Fleur kissed. The new golden bands shone around their fingers and when they pulled away, they beamed at each other at the thought of their new life together. With a flick of the old wizard's wand, the chairs disappeared and were replaced with tables dawning the plates and cutlery the Weasley children had spent hours polishing. Music began to play from the small band that had violins and cellos in the corner of the tent. A loud chatter took over the guests as they went to surround the married couple before heading for the many dishes that were laid out, waiting to be devoured.

"They're going to do the traditional wedding dance!" Hermione said giddily, pointing towards Bill and Fleur.

"What's that?" Blair asked.

"Just watch!"

The violins started to play a jolly tune as everyone crowded around the couple; leaving a small dancefloor that no one occupied besides Bill and Fleur. George pulled Blair through and stood at the front before he and Fred began to clap along with the beat of the music. Bill took Fleur's waist and they began to circle each other, looking deeply into each other's eyes while smiling giddily. Blair was warmed to see the obvious love between the two and started to clap along also, the crowd creating a thunder of beats to encourage the couple dancing and jumping together.

"Instead of that one romantic song they have at Muggle weddings, there's a traditional dance that signifies the bonding between the newly wedded," Hermione explained to Blair over the clapping.

"It's amazing," she replied and watched the two be in their own world despite the many watching eyes.

Other couples began to join the widening dance floor and the music soothed into a casual waltz song. Those who didn't want to dance fled back to the tables to indulge in the nibbles and bottles of alcoholic beverages. Blair had planned to head towards Molly who could be seen watching her oldest son waltz with his wife with tears in her eyes, but was stopped by a hand taking her arm gently. She looked over her shoulder and saw George's lopsidedly smiling down at her.

"Are you trying to escape the final boss?" he chuckled. Blair laughed and turned back around, placing her hand against his tall shoulder and letting him take her hand into his. She felt his arm encircle around her waist before they began to sway gently, looking nearly identical to Bill and Fleur minus the magnificent dress and specially tailored tux.

"Are we going to do that dance at our wedding?" she questioned.

"Only if you want to."

"I do. I do want to."

"Then we will."

Blair tried not to stare at the dark hole she could see between the seams of George's bandage and focused her eyes on his slanting ones instead. There was a bright twinkle in his irises that was enough for her to forget about the past agony he had to go through from Snape's lethal curse. She had taken up the responsibility to change his dressings daily and had seen firsthand how much of the flesh had been torn away. But this wasn't the time to think of that sort of thing. It was time to enjoy each other's company and admire the relationship between the newly wedded. Maybe they should take some notes for their own wedding. Maybe they should start planning it tomorr-

A silver light suddenly burst through the material of the tent and extinguished all of the lights that once made the tent a welcoming and safe place. Everyone froze as the transparent syphnx stopped in the middle of the dance floor; George taking hold of Blair's arms and holding them tightly as they stared at Kingsley Shacklebolt's Patronus.

"The Ministry has fallen. They are coming."
