Blair was sent to show Anthony Goldstein the ropes of being a Chaser. While Roger got the team to play a mini game on one side of the pitch, Blair played as Keeper while Anthony practiced scoring goals with the quaffle on the other side. His aim was almost perfect but he struggled to keep his broom on its path when using one hand to throw the quaffle, causing him to wobble and falter in his strength. Blair had to teach him how to steer his broom while focusing on the strength he needed to throw the quaffle through one of the hoops.

"Try not to worry about the bludgers that are flying around," she informed while throwing a quaffel for him to catch. "I know its intimidating knowing that there's a vicious ball heading for you, but it's the Beaters' job to keep you safe for the game. And if you get hit, you can tell the Beaters off later. Just focus on what you're doing."

"I never knew you were so interested in Quidditch, Blair," Anthony mentioned, tossing the quaffle back to her. "No offence, but I always thought you only liked Potions and snogging that Weasley twin."

Blair's face heated up and fumbled with the quaffle, nearly dropping it through the air and towards the green pitch that was at least twenty metres below them. She was aware that she and George had a period of time where they couldn't keep their faces away from each other, but she had forgotten there were other people in the world other than them. George often made her forget that fact and now she was embarrassed by the absurd amount of times they had been engaged in their moments of what she would call passion.

"Y-Yeah, well, a lot of people seem to think that," she cleared her throat.

"But you're really good, though. I'm sure people will be convinced when our first game comes around," Anthony reassured and Blair cracked a smile, believing the same. She decided that she liked Anthony not just as a good addition to the Ravenclaw team, but maybe as a friend as well.

"We're going to do some more drills," Roger called out to the two, making them fly over and join the team for the rest of the practice.

The sky grew darker and Roger decided that they had done enough for today. Everyone lowered to the pitch and put their brooms away in the shed, heading off to their dormitory. Many had homework to start and some planned to head straight to bed, suffering the consequences of not doing their work in the morning. Most of the homework that was being ignored had been set by Professor Umbridge, giving everyone even more of a reason to leave it undone. It was only pointless worksheets that were asking for the most basic of spell diagrams. If worst came to worst, they could do it at breakfast and hand it in two minutes after.

Blair was one of the few who were going to sit down and do their homework before heading to bed. She had the worksheet to complete from Umbridge, a chapter to read for History of Magic, an essay plan to make for Arthimancy and a potion idea to make for Potions. She thought that it would be better to get the potion out of the way first as it was what she was best at. She needed to come up with a potion that could be useful outside of school and think of how to brew it. That meant listing potential ingredients that Professor Snape would sneer at and ask what in heaven or hell made you think that could possibly work? But for Blair, he might just shake his head and suggest something else in his dull tone.

While everyone plonked down into the armchairs and sofas in front of the fireplace, Blair headed for the girls' dormitory to get her books, quill and parchment. The other Ravenclaws knew that the Quidditch team would be returning to the common room at this time, so the room was deserted besides the ones dressed in the royal blue robes.

Blair put her foot on the first step of the stairs that lead up to the dormitory, only to freeze completely with her eyes locked on the step that was to her eye level. She stood frozen for at least two minutes until Cho, who was sitting in the armchair closest to her, realised and stood to her feet to see why Blair had suddenly stopped.

"What's wrong, Blair?" her Scottish accent twinged her words and the girl stopped next to the seventh year, following her gaze to the spot on the stairs. Immediately, Cho pressed her lips together to stop the loud laugh leaving her lips. The girl hadn't laughed once since the death of Cedric, but the sight was just too hilarious.

"Oh no," she giggled and the rest of the Ravenclaw team came to see what had caused the gloomy girl to laugh for first time in months.

The sight of Jasper sitting on the stairs oblivious to the fact that his entire body was covered in gold paint with the words 'Weasley' in red across either side of him, was something short of a phenomenon. The cat blinked up at the many faces that stared at him and laughed at the golden coat that was a huge contrast from his usual black fur. He didn't know why he was being stared at and frankly, he didn't care.

"They'll be murdered in their sleep," the new substitute Keeper, Leon Page, laughed.

"Not in their sleep. They'll be fully conscious when I get a hold of them," Blair hissed and stepped forward, scooping the glittery cat up and marching back towards the hallway that led to the front door.

"You can't go out now! It's past curfew!" Roger cried through his chuckles and Blair held up her Head Girl badge without turning around.

Her stride didn't falter as she descended down the spiral staircase and headed towards the Gryffindor tower. She didn't care that she was still clad in her Quidditch robes as her ponytail swished behind her, showing that she had a purpose and wasn't going to stop until she had found the culprits who had done this to her poor pet. Jasper sat motionlessly under Blair's arm as she held him against her side, the glitter from the gold paint already spreading up her sleeve and into her immaculate robes.

Even if the word 'Weasley' wasn't written across the Jasper's sides, Blair would still know who would have done such a thing. She knew it was one day going to come, but she wasn't prepared to see her sleek and well-behaved feline doused in gold and red paint when coming in after Quidditch practice.

"What are you doing here?" The Fat Lady said with her upper lip curled in disgust. Blair merely blinked at her before saying in her sternest voice,

"Hippogriff."

Regardless of the Fat Lady's dislike for anyone other than Gryffindors, she had to swing her portrait open at the presentation of the password. Blair didn't waste a moment and stepped into the portrait hole, following it into the warm, burgundy common room that sat in silence and tranquility. As if the lit fireplace sensed her mission and saw her stony expression, it flickered and lowered for a moment before springing back to life again. Harry, Ron and Hermione who were sitting on the sofa in front of it noticed this sudden change. They instinctively looked over their shoulders and saw the girl standing in her blue robes and with the glittering cat against her side.

"What on earth happened to him?!" Hermione cried as she stood up and rushed over to get a closer look at the molten cat. She put her hands on her knees and eyed the feline up close, her compassion for the animal growing large and causing her to worry for Jasper.

"He looks like one of those statues we saw in Egypt a few years ago," Ron commented with a laugh and even Harry was seen to look amused.

But Blair didn't even acknowledge the three as she was staring at the two redheads sitting at the table with expecting eyes and smug smirks. Fred and George leaned back in their chairs with their arms crossed over their chests, looking identical with their proud and amused looks. Fred looked the smuggest and he leaned his elbows on the table, making sure to hold eye contact with Blair as she made her way over to be in front of them.

"You did this," her voice had little emotion as she held Jasper out in front of her, forcing them to look at the new and improved feline.

"He looks great. Did you do something to his hair?" Fred questioned innocently.

"You will wash him. You will clean all of the paint off of him. And I know you used special paint so that it can't come off by magic, so you'll have to wash him by hand," Blair instructed, her tone still bland and levelled perfectly.

"And why would we do that, sweetheart? We think his new look is worthy of being permanent," George insisted, holding back his laugh that was forming in his throat.

"Because if you don't, I will give you two detention for the rest of the month. And I will make sure Professor Snape knows and ask him choose how you two will spend those detentions in the presence of his company."

The smirks that were once on their faces dropped completely and were left with looks of worry and concern. They turned to each other before turning back to Blair, seeing that she looked more serious than Sirius Black himself. They could even see the groomed moustache growing on her upper lip and her hair shortening to the Black's rippled style with how serious she looked.

"Y-You wouldn't," George forced out.

"Oh I would," she smiled evilly and set Jasper's paws down on the table, watching him shake his head from habit and litter the surface with the gold glitter. Fred shrunk away from the table in disgust as the cat padded towards him, sniffing his jumper that was inches from being covered in the same glitter that had already begun to sink into the crevices of the wooden table.

Blair leaned down and pressed her lips against George's cheek, making sure to let him know that nothing had changed between them. She smiled sweetly at Fred across the table before turning around and walking out of the common room, leaving the twins and the fifth years on the sofa to watch after her with wide eyes. Jasper meowed through the silence and planted his glittery behind on the tabletop, observing the common room he had never been to before. There were many surfaces that he could sleep on and he was ready to leap off the table to find a place for the night, only to be lifted into the air.

"Oh no you don't, you glittery beast," Fred voiced, his wand in his hand and pointed at Jasper that now squirmed in the air. "Come on then, let's put you in a tub of calm, relaxing water."

As if Jasper knew of the word, he started mewling and squirming against Fred's levitation spell. While Fred laughed at the misfortune of the animal, George watched in wonder as Fred willingly started to levitate Jasper out of the room and to what he assumed was Prefects' bathroom. They had already forced the password out of Ron at the start of the year, so Fred was thinking to use the swimming pool-sized bath to wash Jasper. But it was the fact that Fred hadn't argued at all about the animal he despised. He was first surprised to hear that Fred wanted to pull a prank and insisted that George helped him with it. But he understood when Fred ventured to the Ravenclaw common room and came back holding the animal with his arms out away from him to stop Jasper's claws hooking into his face. When George knew that the prank would be harmless to Jasper and was only being done to annoy Blair, he had participated in the painting of his fur before letting him loose in the Ravenclaw common room for Blair to find.

But Fred was willing to wash the cat and just enjoy the memory of Blair's stony face and the gloriously painted feline. This was something George would have never thought would happen. Maybe, finally, Fred was warming up to Blair and they would actually get along.
