Blair apparated with Fred and George to Platform nine and three-quarters from Grimmauld Place. The twins made sure to rub it into Ron and Ginny's face that they could sleep in that little bit longer and just appear on the platform one minute before the Hogwarts Express was set to leave at eleven o'clock. Blair bid Sirius goodbye and thanked him constantly for giving her a place to stay for the summer break, and was overjoyed when he said that she could come back and stay with him between semesters. He said that the Weasleys and Harry would most likely be coming too as Order meetings would continue taking place at his house.

Carrying Jasper in her arms and instead of in his carrier case, Blair popped into view behind a pillar and stepped out to see the red steam engine that was surrounded by new and reoccurring witches and wizards on their way to Hogwarts. Fred and George immediately got to work in handing sample treats out to the younger students on the train, hoping to get the youngest of generations interested in their shop that was currently in construction. Blair charmed her trunk to slide neatly next to George's in one of the compartments before settling down on the bench below it.

"Whoever cleans the train is going to get a whole lot of sick to clean," Fred sniggered as he sat opposite Blair with his pockets now empty of sampled sweets.

"Whether it's Filch or some other poor sod, it'll be nothing compared to when we've got unlimited supplies," George added while taking the seat next to Blair. The brothers laughed and Blair let Jasper hop on to the bench next to her, the train now moving and departing from the station. She waved out the window to Mrs and Mr Weasley who stood with Nymphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin. The Order members had come along saying that they were here to give support for Harry who would now have to face personal backlash from the people who didn't believe his claims from last year, but everyone knew they were really here as protection.

It felt odd to have someone sitting willingly in the compartment with her and to have someone to wave to on the way out. Blair had spent all of her journeys to Hogwarts alone and ignoring all of the parents and siblings that waved on the platform. She couldn't believe how much her life had changed in just one year.

"I need to do some patrolling," Blair announced as she pinned her badge to her jumper and stood up from the bench. "I need to find whoever the Head Boy is too."

"You're really going to leave your beast here with us?" Fred raised an eyebrow with a mischievous smirk growing on his lips, eyeing the feline that blinked back at him innocently. Blair glanced at Jasper worryingly before looking to George, putting the cat on to his lap for safe keeping.

"Don't let him to get to him," she instructed and reached down to press her lips against his, making him hum in delight and cradle Jasper to his chest.

"I will. Good luck," George replied and Fred could be heard retching in the background.

Blair left the compartment and slid the door shut, leaving the twins by themselves with Jasper safe in George's arms. Fred rolled his eyes when she left and put his feet up on to the seat, stretching his legs out obnoxiously so that when Lee came in, he'd have to sit next to George and the monster with fur. Jasper curled up on George's thighs and settled for a nap, content in his second favourite person's company but still aware of his twin that sat glaring at him. George was left in silence and looked at his brother with hard eyes.

"What do you have against Blair, Freddie?" he sighed and the said boy turned to look at George with a raised eyebrow. "I know not everyone can get along, but she's never done anything to you. Do you have to be so indifferent?"

"I'm not indifferent," Fred defended but faltered in the slightest. "I just... she's a Ravenclaw."

"I know for a fact that's not the reason. Ravenclaws are probably the most tolerable out of the other houses," George shrugged. "Hufflepuffs are okay too, but they're pushovers sometimes."

"Ravenclaws are snobby," Fred stared out the window with a distant look.

"Blair isn't, though," George tried again but sighed when Fred didn't answer. "Will you two ever get along? She's not all to blame here. You threatened to fly kick her cat!"

"I'll get along with her when I want to. Her mog is... collateral," he seethed at the cat that slept peacefully on his brother's lap. George sighed once more before dropping the topic entirely, knowing he wouldn't get answers for the time being. And it wasn't like they could continue the conversation anyway, because Lee decided to walk in at that moment with a cheery,

"Hello Weasleys'! That Fever Fudge you gave to those third years has caused quite a commotion down the train. I hear the Head Boy is having to sort them out and figure out some spells to bring down their soaring fevers."

"Who is the Head Boy?" George decided to ask out of pure curiosity.

"Fletcher Potts."

"The Slytherin?!"

"Yeah, why?"

George mentally put his head in his hands at the mention of the boy that he personally disliked for years now. The Slytherin was known for his family's values of blood purity and was just an overall git. He and Fred had made him the target of their pranks many times of their duration at Hogwarts, but it had never rid him of his snobby attitude and his tendency to smirk evilly whenever Gryffindor lost a Quidditch game or when Slytherin won the House Cup. Because of his attitude, George suddenly feared for Blair's life. He couldn't imagine staying in the same room alone with the boy, let alone spending the school year doing patrols and dishing out unnecessary detentions with him. Blair was bound to dislike the boy just as much as he did, and he couldn't say that he trusted him completely to be around the girl he was dating.

"Blair made Head Girl. She's in for a whirlwind," Fred laughed and Lee raised an eyebrow.

"Really? Unlucky," Lee cringed before he caught sight of Jasper that was fast asleep on George's thighs. "Awww, look how cute he is!"

"Er... thanks Lee?" George said as he turned to face his friend with a confused expression, but relaxed when he saw Lee staring down at Jasper instead of at him. "Oh! You mean the cat..."

Outside the carriages, Blair walked up and down the corridor that led from one end of the train to the other. She overlooked the students that sat in groups and had to deal with multiple cases of uncontrollable vomiting from Fred and George's free samples. She thanked Merlin that she was allowed to do magic outside of Hogwarts and simply flicked her wand to get rid of the puddles that no one wanted in their carriages.

After comforting yet another student who was thrown out of the compartment that Draco Malfoy and his goonies claimed, Blair started making her way back down the corridor to check on the first years. She still hadn't met the Head Boy who was supposed to be patrolling with her. She had kept her eyes peeled for the badge that would tell her what house they were in and what their role was, but had only seen the words 'PREFECT'. Hermione and Ron had passed her multiple times on their own patrols but they both said that they hadn't seen who was supposed to be with her for the journey.

She came to a compartment that had its sliding door open and had someone standing in the doorway, preventing it from being closed like it should be during a majority of the journey. Blair didn't want to be the one to boss everyone around and become the Head Girl that everyone hated for the year, but she had to enforce at least some of the rules. And judging by the faces of the third years in the compartment, they didn't look happy to have this person sticking their head inside.

"And you, Paisley, didn't your mum get let go from the Ministry just last week?" the person sniggered. The girl named Paisley in the carriage lowered her head and her friends glared at the unwanted person upsetting everyone.

"Excuse me? Why are you bothering these third years?" Blair tried to be as polite as possible. The person stopped their teasing and pulled their head out from the carriage, revealing their grinning face and shiny Head Boy badge that Blair had been searching for.

"Ah Rosier, I was wondering when you'd turn up," Fletcher Potts shut the sliding door with a loud bang and the third years inside sighed in relief, now able to tend to their friend Paisley who had started crying about her unemployed mother.

"You're the Head Boy?" Blair questioned in disbelief and hoped that the badge on his black shirt was just a figment of her imagination.

"Don't look too excited," Fletcher sarcastically said and rolled his eyes. "But I suppose I shouldn't complain. You're probably the only girl I'd choose to work with me."

"And why is that?" she dared to ask and cringed at his smirk that had sat on his face for the entirety of the conversation.

"You're hot," he said with a shrug and Blair wished she hadn't asked at all. She felt nothing but disgust as the boy who a lot of girls in her year actually found attractive smirked down at her. Potts was known for being a complete snob and a cocky git, but was also known as tall, dark and handsome. He was the same height as Fred and George, who were referred to as the tallest in their year, and had tanned skin that girls swooned over. He had a chiselled jaw line and had dark moles that spotted his skin. Although most girls adored him, Blair didn't have any interest in him whatsoever. He wasn't George; therefore he was not attractive or interesting in her books.

"Well it was nice talkin' to you, Rosier, but I've got some duties to attend to," Fletcher winked at her before purposely brushing past her arm and walking down the corridor, leaving her to watch after him with the urge to wash the arm he had touched.

"Blair!" another voice called and she turned back around, seeing Mina, Poppy and Nancy beaming at her.

"Hey guys," she greeted and their eyes shot straight towards the badge that contrasted with her dark clothing.

"We wanted to come see the famous metal in real life. See if the rumours were true," Mina explained and reached out to poke the culprit.

"We also heard about who you'd be working with for the year," Poppy said with a cringe. "How's that been going for you?"

"I've just met him. What a complete ass," Blair hissed and the three girls nodded without any doubt in her statement.

"Why on earth would Dumbledore pick him? Surely there's some other boy in our year that'll be better than Potts."

"I actually can't name one..."

"Me neither."

"Maybe there should have been two Head Girls this year instead."

"Agreed."

For the last time ever, Blair and the seventh years made their way up from Hogsmeade platform in the horseless carriages to the castle. Of course, they'd take the carriages up from the platform when they'd come back from the two week breaks they had in between semesters, but only the journey at the start of the year was the significant one. All the seventh years were together and had a full year ahead of them of tying up knots and deciding what they wanted to do for a career.

They entered the Great Hall and had dressed in their uniforms and robes. Blair followed after the Ravenclaws as she saw it would be best to sit at her own table for the Welcoming feast. Even though she'd be welcomed at the Gryffindor table, she wanted to set some sort of example for the first years that thought they were only allowed to sit at their houses' tables.

She had yet to tell George about the awful companion she had to endure for the year, but she supposed he had already found out by the rumour that had drifted all throughout their year group. Every house besides Slytherin sneered at the idea of having a Slytherin as their Head Boy, but seemed content with having Blair as their Head Girl. She was surprised at this as she thought people outside of her friend group still assumed she was the Death Eater her father and entire family was.

"No one cares, Blair," Nancy said as she settled in the place opposite her at the table. Mina sat next to Blair and Poppy sat to Nancy, creating a quadruplet in the middle of the Ravenclaw table.

"I'm sure we've all got ancestors that were dark witches and wizards," Poppy shrugged. "Or maybe it's just the fact that you're dating a Weasley. I'm sure people don't want fireworks in their bowls of cereal every morning just because they kept sneering at you in the hallways."

Blair had never thought about the fact that Fred and George were respected by most of the people at Hogwarts. Their reputation spread even to the teacher's table and they were said to be favourited by Professor Flitwick for their talent in Charms. Their hunt for pranks and mayhem blurred their intelligence that most people didn't see. But Blair remembered George saying that he had gotten his Outstanding in Potions, which is a particularly difficult class to even pass after your fifth year. Snape didn't take kindly to the twins, but George must have done extraordinary well in his O.W.L for Potions to continue doing it even in his seventh year. Blair did see the seventh year Potion textbook on his book list that she also had on hers, confirming his attendance in the class for the year also.
