Blair whipped around with a pivot of her heels and leaped into George's arms. He and Fred stood in the doorway of Ginny's temporary room and Blair didn't take the time to even look at their newly cut hair and bright green matching shirts. Her arms encircled around his shoulders and she stood on her toes in order to reach his tall height. The three weeks she had spent away from Hogwarts were spent thinking heavily of George and missing his kind and continuously joking nature. Blair of course wasn't known to be the embracing type, but finally having George within reach overwhelmed her despite their short time of being separated.
"Woah, this is new!" George laughed as he wrapped his arms around Blair's small middle and squeezed her against him, not expecting such a warm welcome. "Did you miss me that much?"
"Couldn't have been anymore than you have," Fred sassed from next to his brother, eyeing Blair who had buried her face into George's shoulder since her leap. "He was agonising. You better make this worthwhile, Rosier."
"You're still calling me by my last name?" she questioned as she eventually lowered herself from George's shoulder, struggling to keep her eyes from him.
"Fine, Blair," Fred said as if the name was disgusting to say, but added a teasing smile to show he was only playing. Blair rolled her eyes before turning back to focus on George and melted at the sight of his deep brown eyes glittering as they looked down at her. Her gaze slowly travelled up to his short hair and immediately preferred it over his long hair that she had initially met him with.
"I missed you," George admitted and Ginny and Fred could be heard scoffing in the background.
"I missed you too," Blair followed while smiling widely, her hands still on his tall shoulders and his still on her hips.
"Come on, it's been three weeks! How much could you possibly have missed each other?!" Fred stated with a dramatic throw of his arms. He had already been worn out with the constant mentions of the girl from his brother and was partially relieved that she was finally here. But at the same time, was he prepared to see all the 'smooching' and cuddles that the two were bound to do in front of him?
The floorboards in the hallway creaked making the Weasleys' and Blair turn to see Hermione. She was making her way out of one of the other doors with her cat Crookshanks in her arms, and looked up instinctively. She caught sight of the new comer in the house and lowered her feline to floor, letting him run off downstairs where he could smell another cat that he hadn't come across before. Hermione smiled lightly and walked over to greet Blair.
"Blair, how are you?" she asked and the girl replied with the same smile.
"I'm alright. Glad to be here."
Her and Hermione had never really met or talked privately. Blair had found that she got on better with Ginny rather than Granger and never attempted to try and form a friendship with her. But it wasn't all Blair's negligence, as Hermione was always too caught up with her studies and her two friends Ron and Harry. There was always just a mutual acknowledgment between the two because of their mutual friends and often saw each other when sitting at the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall.

"Well that was sufficiently awkward," Ginny commented and Blair felt an embarrassed warmth spread to her cheeks. Fred sniggered and George took it as his queue to be Blair's knight in shining armour, seeing the discomfort in both Hermione and Blair.
"Come with me," he leaned down and said into her ear so that only she could hear. George slipped his large hand into hers and started to lead her down the hall, away from the three who let them leave without any objections.
George pushed open a door on their left and revealed a messy bedroom that had two double beds as well as a wardrobe inside. Blair guessed that it was his and Fred's room as there were clothes all over the floor and the duvets on the beds were sagging messily. There were also boxes of things that she had never seen before in their masses, with names on the side like 'Puking Pastilles' and 'Nosebleed Nougat'.
The walls were no different to the ones in any other places in the house with their peeling wallpaper and excessive amounts of spider webs in the corners. Blair tried her best to avoid stepping on anything that littered the floor and accidentally kicked a rolled up cylinder that had colourful writing and pictures on the packaging. Her heart jumped into her throat when she saw the word 'fireworks' but deflated in relief when the cylinder stayed calm and didn't explode into what she could only imagine as the show not wanted in such a compact room.
George led Blair to sit on the furthest bed from the door and pushed back a part of the duvet that covered the sheet and mattress. He sat next to her and turned his body so that she could see he had his full attention and was speaking to her directly.
"How was it?" he questioned and Blair raised an eyebrow. "The orphanage. Was it okay?"
"It was fine. I'm glad to be gone though," she said briefly. "Professor Dumbledore actually came and brought me here. Said that the orphanage was going to be demolished by the end of the month."
"Demolished? Where would you have gone then?"
"Leeds, apparently. No one wants to go to Leeds, I can assure you."
George bit his lip at the idea of Blair moving away from London. He had a brief idea of where Leeds was in England and was sure that it would be too far for a small visit. The Weasley home in Devon was already a distance if you weren't to use apparition or the Floo network.
"So what now? Do you still have to go back?" he asked worriedly but felt his nerves relax at the sight of Blair's relieved and promising smile.
"No. Dumbledore took my file so that they wouldn't know I was still living there. I'm a free woman," she joked and saw George grin goofily.
"Brilliant."
Blair could hear the little voice in her head that was starting to become difficult to contain. The presence of George finally being in front of her made the voice want nothing more than to reach forward and kiss him like there was no life after today. The small pecks they had exchanged before leaving on the Hogwarts Express hadn't lasted the start of the holidays and it was only during the first week at the orphanage that she started to feel the desire to kiss him again. Only this time, it would be passionately and full of affection.

Giving into this annoying voice, Blair reached her hands out and cupped George's thin, structured jaw line. Bringing his face closer to hers, she bravely pressed her lips against his and closed her eyes at the feeling of being so close to him. George was surprised at first of the boldness of the usually quiet and reserved girl, but melted into her and placed his hands comfortably on her sides. His eyes slid shut and he felt the softness of her lips glide against his, taking in every curve and ridge that made up his mouth.
It was quiet in the room as they kissed and George found the strength to pull Blair off of the mattress and on to his lap. Blair could hardly tell what had happened but enjoyed the feeling of having her knees bent on either side of George's hips and his strong thighs under her as she continued to elope her lips with his. George's cold hands ventured from Blair's sides and felt the skin that peaked out from between her black shirt and her black jeans. This contact sent shivers down not only hers but George's spine as he had never been so intimate with a girl before.
This was enough for the two of them and they both chose to not go any further. It wasn't yet in their nature to rush into such intimate things that they knew followed after this stage. They pulled their faces away from each other's but Blair didn't make any move to slide off of George's lap. She had seen couples be in this position before but had never experienced it herself, but now she knew why they chose to. She adored the way she had been elevated to then look down and see all the details of George's hair, eyes, nose and lips. It warmed her from within and she dreaded the moment she'd have to move and sit like a proper 'lady'.
"Well that was unexpected," George said, letting out a small laugh in between his words. "Who knew a little Ravenclaw would have that deep inside of her?"
"Did you... not like it?" Blair suddenly feared that she had been too bold even for a Weasley.
"No, I fucking loved it!" he cheered loudly and Blair even jumped on his lap from the sudden volume of his voice. "It was better than when Freddie and I could finally do magic outside of school!"
"I forgot we could do that now! My wand's downstairs in my trunk," she remembered and looked over her shoulder as if to will her trunk to fly up the stairs and into the room so that she didn't have to move from George's lap.
"Don't worry, Kreacher will eventually bring it up," George shrugged, his arms still clasped around her waist.
"Kreacher?" she repeated in confusion. "Who's Kreacher?"
"That's Kreacher," he nodded to the door and she turned her head to see who he was motioning to.
Blair nearly jumped out of her skin at the sight of the grumpy house-elf that had her trunk being dragged behind it. Its face sagged down into a prominent frown and was ugly to look at. The tea towel that had been tied around its body was dirty and an awful colour of grey and brown stains. The elf's dark eyes leered at her as she caught it's gaze and started to grumble as it dragged her trunk further into the room.
"Blood traitors planning to mate to make more blood traitors," its voice was slow and croaky, as if it had smoked those Muggle cigarettes that Blair despised. "How dare they disgrace Kreacher's mistress's home."
"Hey now, Kreacher, it's rude to assume such things about us blood traitors," George faked a stern look as the elf dropped Blair's trunk with a loud thud. Kreacher didn't like being spoken to and glared harshly at George with a look that could kill. Blair felt uncomfortable being in the same room as the elf and shuffled so that she was closer to George (if that was even possible at this point), trying not to meet Kreacher's glare.
"The orange one speaks to Kreacher. Kreacher will not speak to anyone that his mistress would not approve of. Kreacher will never..."
The elf continued to grumble as he made his way out of the room without a glance back at Blair and George. Blair was relieved to see the awful thing go and looked to her trunk that had caused a ripple of dust to fly into the air from its contact with the floor. Once Kreacher had disappeared into the hall, Blair slowly stood up from George's lap and crouched down to open up her trunk.
"Who is his mistress, then?" she decided to ask as she undid the clasps.
"Sirius's Mum, apparently," he answered as he lay back on his bed and stared up at the ceiling. "She was into the whole blood purity thing. Sirius was the only one who wasn't a complete twat out of the whole family."
Blair hummed in acknowledgment and pulled open her trunk, lifting all of her clothes, books and pieces of parchment to find her wand that sat at the bottom. Her wand wasn't anything special. It was straight with tiny engravings of stars leading up from the handle and faded into polished wood as it got further to its tip. It was dark brown and Blair sometimes wished it was black, but it was powerful and was great for even the most complicated of charms.
"I feel like I'm looking into your soul here," George's head appeared over her shoulder and she saw he was looking down into her trunk. He was staring at the pile of clothes that only centred on the colour black. There was a small corner of blue that was her only denim jacket but besides that, George could have sworn he was looking into the abyss.
"So why are you lot all here?" Blair drew the attention away from her trunk's boring contents. "What's so special about living in Sirius Black's old house?"
"This is headquarters for the Order of the Phoenix."
