"Bombarda!"
The brick wall that Professor Dumbledore conjured exploded and left its contents all around the Headmaster's office. Dumbledore stood with his hands clasped together and with a light smile on his face from his student's brilliant spell work. Blair grinned widely to herself as she lowered her wand and watched as the once solid wall flew back into the tip of Dumbledore's wand. She had been practicing hard on the Bombarda spell and several half exploded walls later; she had finally been able to master it like a professional.
"Astounding, Miss Rosier," Dumbledore's weathered voice cheered. "I think you will pass your Dark Arts N.E.W.T with ease."
"Thank you, sir," she replied and slipped her wand back into her sock. "I do need to practice in History of Magic though. Professor Binns isn't the kindest towards near failing grades."
"I'm sure you will do your best. I've heard Mr Weasley is quite good at History of Magic. When he puts his mind to it, anyways," the Professor smiled down at her.
"Which Weasley, sir?"
"I think you know which one I'm referring to."
Blair blushed as Professor Dumbledore winked at her. She had forgotten that the Headmaster somehow knew about everything that went on within the castle's walls. Whether it is Peeves' continuous havoc on students and Professors, or the relationship status between two of his students, he knew about it. Luckily, anyone with sense would know that the man was barmy. He may be a powerful wizard, but he wasn't seen as the sanest person in the world, so most didn't believe his claims.
"Speaking of the redheaded clan, Mr Weasley is currently waiting outside for you. I suggest you hurry on before he loses his very minute attention span," Dumbledore pointed to the door of his office and the door swung open on its own.
"See you on Thursday, sir."
Making her way out of the office and down the stairs, Blair waited for the gargoyle in front of her to move and reveal the hallway. This was her last session of the day and she was ready to head back to her common room and finish her week's worth of homework. She had found that now she had a fairly social life alongside her schoolwork, she had days where she wouldn't get any of her homework done. So one of her days would be dedicated to all of the homework she had, leaving her afternoons free for socialising with her friends.
The gargoyle hopped out of the way and Blair's eyes immediately went to George who was leaning against the wall opposite her. He had his robe in his hands and was standing in his school jumper and pants, fiddling with the material that was burgundy on the inside of his robe. He looked up at the sound of stone scrapping against the wall and displayed his usual goofy grin at the sight of the Ravenclaw.
"I thought I'd come wait for you," he said as he pushed himself off the wall and met Blair halfway.
"I'm supposed to be doing my homework today," she replied. "I can only spend so much time with you Gryffindors."

"Um I'm offended?" George raised his eyebrows. "Come on sweetheart, we're chilling down by the lake. I don't want to look like the third wheel with Freddie and Angelina."
Blair felt her heart flutter at the word 'sweetheart'. George wasn't usually one for pet names but whenever he was in the mood, he came up with sweetest things to call her. She had the inkling that he was getting his relationship ideas from Fred, who wasn't the best role model. He would call Angelina anything from babe to snookiebins. Although the last one might have been a tease and not a genuine name for Angelina, it was cringe enough for Blair to physically pull a face for everyone to see. George wasn't one to miss these expressions and chose not to go as far with the pet names. But the odd one made her warm inside and appreciate George's attempts.
"If I can get all of my stuff done tomorrow, then I'll come today," she answered and George perked up.
"Deal. I won't bother you at all tomorrow."
"I find that very hard to believe."
Blair had chosen to fill George in on her change of teachers for her Defence Against the Dark Arts class. She told him that she felt uncomfortable in Professor Moody's class because of his involvement during the first Wizarding war and her father's prosecution. George wasn't one to be invasive and accepted her brief explanation. He was only reluctant because he now had to sit in Moody's class by himself while Lee and Fred messed around at the table next to him. But he now walked Blair to and from Professor Dumbledore's office, and even tried to avoid the halls he knew Moody usually walked down for her benefit.
They made their way through the castle and out of the Entrance Hall, heading towards the Black Lake that was particularly calm today. The Giant Squid's tentacles could even be seen lounging along the shores with some third years poking them with sticks they had found. Ever since the end of the second task, everyone had been much more laid back and relaxed. Even the four champions had the time to relax and rekindle their strength for the next task. Although some year groups had their exams very soon, there was a calm air that hung over the whole of Hogwarts.
Fred and Angelina sat under a tree with their arms around each other. They looked up at the sound of feet crunching against the grass and saw George with his arm snug around Blair's shoulders. His robe that was once holding was now being worn by Blair with the sleeves hanging past her hands. She was rolling her eyes at some joke George had told before meeting eyes with his brother and Angelina under the tree.
"Wow, he actually convinced you?" Angelina said as they both sat down on the grass. "A Ravenclaw choosing to hang out rather than doing their school work is a rare occurance."
"I guess I'm just very persuasive, right Blair?" George looked to her and started to lay kisses all over her face. She let out an extremely girly squeal and tried to shuffle away, only to have George's arms encircle around her waist and keep her against his side.

"You guys are gross," Fred mentioned with a cringe, before turning to Angelina. "Isn't that right, sugarplum?"
Blair stuck her tongue out to show her disgust as Fred tried to nuzzle his nose against Angelina's. George showed a similar expression and brought his wand out from his back pocket, swaying it to form a small red spark on tip of Fred's nose. A light sizzle was heard and Fred jumped backwards from Angelina, yelping aloud as his nose burned and turned red.
"Ow!" he cried and lay on his back, rolling around as he clutched his nose from the minor burn.
"Aww are you okay, honeybuns?!" Angelina faked her concern but couldn't stop the laugh that slipped past her lips. Blair followed suit and started giggling as Fred rolled back and forth, leaning closer into George's side as she laughed. George chuckled to himself and warmed at the feeling of Blair being flush against him. He pressed his lips against the side of her head and grinned when Fred sat up and glared harshly back at him.
"I bet you think you're well funny," Fred snapped and George shrugged.
"Yeah I do actually. Funnier than you," he replied.
"Well I'm still the better looking one."
"Not a chance."
Blair and Angelina exchanged looks before simultaneously rolling their eyes at the twins' pointless argument. Fred now had a small burn mark on the tip of his nose and George kept insisting he knew a spell that would heal it immediately. The two bickered and Angelina went to make a clever comment about them to Blair, only to stop once she looked over her shoulder and up towards the castle.
"Blair, isn't that your cat?" she pointed a finger and Blair whipped around to where she was pointing to. True enough, Jasper was pondering down the hill towards her with his tail high and looked curiously around his surroundings.
"How did he get out of the Ravenclaw tower?" George asked after he and Fred had stopped their arguing for a brief moment.
Blair stood up from the glass and watched as Jasper quickened his pace in order to reach his owner. He started to weave himself through her legs and meow in content. Fred, George and Angelina stood up and gathered around Blair as she picked up her pet from the grass. Jasper purred as he snuggled against her chest, unaware of his owner's worry for his appearance.
"Does he usually wander around the school grounds?" Angelina asked.
"No. He doesn't come out of my dormitory unless I call him down into the common room," Blair explained. "I'm going to go check my dormitory. Maybe something spooked him."
The others followed Blair back up to the castle and insisted they'd come along to look. It was certainly odd as Jasper never wandered out of the Ravenclaw dorms unless Blair tells him to. The only other person he listened to was George, and considering he has been with Blair this whole time, he obviously hadn't been told by anyone to leave the Ravenclaw tower. He was a well trained feline but still had the basic instincts of a cat. So if he was scared by something, he would still react in the way even a feral cat would.
They came to the door of the Ravenclaw room and the eagle doorknocker voiced its riddle. Blair answered it hurriedly before walking through the hallway that led into the common room. Fred and Angelina were a little bit wary in walking in but eventually followed after George when he walked in without any hesitation.
Blair spotted Nancy sitting on one of the armchairs with a book in her lap and the fireplace lit as usual. She looked up at the sound of multiple footsteps entering and raised her eyebrow at the sight of Jasper in Blair's arms, and the three Gryffindors who stuck close to her back.
"What's wrong?" she questioned, sensing the tense atmosphere that followed after them.
"Jasper came all the way down to the Black Lake. He never leaves here without me with him," Blair explained, putting the cat down on the floor. "Did something happen in here? In our dorm?"
"Well Professor Moody did actually come in a while ago," Nancy said as she shut her book but didn't look worried about the situation. "Any animal would be scared at the sight of him."
"Moody? Is he even a Ravenclaw?" Fred asked from behind Blair.
"Would you be one to ask? I'm terrified of the man," Nancy replied. "But he walked in here and started heading for the dormitories. That was until he saw me sitting here and started talking to me instead."
"What did you guys talk about?" Blair asked, now suspicious of the whole ordeal.
"Just classes and stuff. He then said that he had somewhere else to be, so he left without saying why he was even here," she shrugged. "I think I did see Jasper sitting near one of the bookshelves in here. Maybe he slipped out when Moody left."
"Why would Moody come all the way here? I thought Professors didn't like coming into common rooms and dormitories. Said it's invasive of students' privacy or something," George said.
Blair thought over Nancy's explanation and watched as Jasper jumped up on to one of the bookshelves and curled up for a nap. He didn't seem agitated now but maybe the unexpected appearance of Professor Moody unnerved him enough to head out of the tower to find her. But now there was the question of why the Professor came to the tower in the first place. No one really knew of his house but he could indeed be a Ravenclaw. But that didn't explain his reasoning for seemingly heading for the dormitories, only to leave when he noticed someone was sitting in one of the armchairs.
Professor Moody already set alarm bells off in Blair's head, but this was something different and it worried her deeply.
