《Junoesque ✿George Weasley✿》20.

Once the hall had eaten their meals, the famous band the Weird Sisters came to the stage. Professor Dumbledore had somehow been able to persuade the band to perform at the Yule Ball. But considering how much the Triwizard tournament was talked about in the Daily Prophet, it wasn't hard to know that any famous singer or band would be happy for the publicity.
Their songs were known for their rock and roll style that came from their guitars and drums. They played their most well known tunes which were adored by the students who mobbed the dance floor and screamed for the band. But their hardcore metal wasn't liked by Blair and found a headache brewing from the loud noise.
"I'm going to go outside for a bit," Blair said to George who sat beside her at the round table. Fred, Angelina and the other people who once sat at the table had disappeared to the dance floor or up to their dorms for the night. It was now only her and George left.
"I'll come with you," he offered and stood up with her.
"Alright," Blair nodded with a light smile.
As they walked out of the Great Hall and towards the courtyard that was blanketed in snow, Blair thought about the night she had. She liked dancing with George for the entirety of the night and the food was excellent. She hadn't expected to enjoy herself so much seeing as the sound of a ball wasn't something she usually jumped around for. She actually liked wearing her elegant dress and getting ready in her dorm, only to have George tell her for the first time that she was beautiful. She had never been called such a thing before, and with it coming from George was even more flattering and made her heart flutter.
Out in the courtyard, Blair forgot how cold it was outside. Her shoulder-less dress left her shivering as soon as they had stepped out from the hall that had been charmed to stay warm She put her hands to her arms and rubbed them up and down, trying to create some heat against her skin.
"Here," George spoke up as he slipped off his robe and wrapped it over her shoulders, leaving him in a white button-up shirt and the much talked about purple vest.
"How cliché," she sniggered but was grateful for the cover up. She grabbed the openings of George's robes and pulled it tightly around herself, trying her hardest not to notice the musky scent that she didn't usually notice on George.
Blair looked out on to the courtyard in front of her and saw the benches that hadn't yet been cleared of snow. The flakes of white fell from the sky had gradually built up small mountains on the floor, the moonlight glistening through the sparkles that you usually didn't see in snow. It reminded Blair of why she liked winter so much compared to the other seasons. The element that came with winter was everything Blair loved. Getting bundled up in the common room with Jasper on her lap and placed directly in front of the fire was when she was happiest. It made life at Hogwarts so much more pleasurable than when she had to go home over the long summer break.

From beside Blair, George stared down at her with his eyes glued to her side profile. He couldn't believe she was so beautiful in her dark dress, and the necklace around her neck continued to bring her whole image together of looking like a goddess. He couldn't comprehend how he hadn't noticed the girl before this year as she was truly breathtaking. And now that he knew of her personality and her little cute tweaks, he knew he was falling deeper and deeper into a state of being willing to kiss the ground she walked on. She wasn't just a silly little crush anymore, yet he had only started talking to her four months ago. How could she have such an effect on him in such a short amount of time?
George realised that now was the time he had been waiting for. The sight of the empty courtyard with blankets of snow around them was perfect and he found that he couldn't resist Blair any longer. Her pale skin and the content smile on her face made him melt into a metaphoric puddle. He compared her to the snow. Her iciness was something he had struggled at first to break through. But he was glad that he had, because now he knew a girl who was obsessed with cats and had a passion for potions that he thought only snotty Slytherins had. If he didn't seal it now, she could melt away and he'd never have another chance at it.
Gathering up all of his Gryffindor courage, he reached his hand out and placed it on the side of Blair's waist. She looked down at the touch and saw the arm that started to pull her around so that she was facing George completely. She didn't expect to look up and see him staring down at her with a glazed look in his eyes. And when they flickered down to her lips, she knew immediately what he was intending to do.
George had a long way to lean down in order to reach her lips but Blair was on the same page as him. She stood on her toes and was now within reach, the tips of their noses touching and having the same coldness that made shivers run down their spines. Blair clutched at the robe on her shoulders as she shut her eyes, anticipating the next step that she knew George would take to make the moment complete.
She felt his cold lips against hers and swore she could hear cheers coming from inside her and around them. She had never kissed anyone before but this was the best she could have ever imagined was possible. It was soft and made her chest feel light and euphoric. George's large hands sat on her waist as he bent his head low, his eyes sliding shut from the hugely satisfying feeling of finally being able to kiss Blair.
The cheers that Blair was hearing weren't imaginary and they took a moment for both of them to realise that. They reluctantly pulled away and looked towards the corridor leading up to the Great Hall, seeing a small group had formed that were watching them and applauding. Among them were Fred, Angelina, Ginny, Nancy, Mina and Poppy. They had large grins on their faces and the redheads cried out the loudest.

"Finally!" Fred shouted and George felt his face heating up against the cold air. "I knew you could do it, mate!"
They could only smile bashfully and turn away from the group to avoid further embarrassment. They met eyes again and had a burst of realisation. They had just kissed. They had done the thing that they had both been waiting to do and it was as satisfying as they thought it would be. Blair couldn't contain the smile that fought its way on to her face and she continued to stare up at George with the shameless smile. George buzzed inside at her bright and smiling face and swooped down for a second kiss, making the group nearby cheer even louder.
The clock town chimed as it hit midnight and Christmas day was started like no other for the couple.
---
The second task for the Triwizard tournament rolled around fast after Christmas passed. Harry was put into another state of panic and stress as he was sure his first success in the first task was just pure luck. He was sure that this task would finish him off for good, and he didn't figure out the golden egg's clue until a week before the event. Hermione had of course come forward and helped him learn more new and advanced spells. And since he and Ron and made up from their little dispute, the Weasley came along with the saying that he was 'here to help'. But he didn't know anymore than Harry did, leaving Hermione to be with him nearly 24/7.
Students rushed down from the castle and towards the Black Lake where the task would be taking place. It was still winter, so everyone was bundled up their coats and beanies. But the snow had melted away, only leaving a chill that made even the Beauxbatons students cover up in their coats. The school had luckily been sent some warmer clothes from their facility in France, so the uptight students didn't have to freeze for the rest of the year.
Among the students that made their way towards the lake, were Blair and George. He had decided to take the day off from taking bets and gambling, leaving the job to Fred and Lee. Instead, he indulged in the life being a couple with Blair. With his arm hooked around her shoulders and pressing her into his side, he teased her about her beanie that had a smiling cat on it. He also pressed his lips against the side of her head when she pouted at his teasing, eventually making her beam like a light bulb.
"Bleh, there's cat hair on it too," George cringed when he pulled his lips away and pulled off the black hair that was identical to the ones littering her hat.
"It adds to the effect," she replied and laughed as he continued pulling hairs from his mouth.
George helped Blair into one of the boats that would take them up to the three stands that had been put in the middle of the lake for the task. He settled into the spot next to her and squeezed against the side of the boat as a bunch of first year Hufflepuffs hoped in while chatting avidly. George grumbled at this as he thought they'd be able to have a boat to themselves and was even more annoyed when Fred and Lee hoped in behind them.
"We're not leaving you two alone on a boat," Fred scoffed when he noticed George's glare. "You'll have too much fun rocking it, if you know what I mean."
"Gross," Lee mumbled and pushed the small boat off from the jetty. Blair and George rolled their eyes as they turned back to face the front and cringed at the sight of the first years pushing each other. The boat rocked and threatened to tip over from their carelessness, making Blair clutch on to George's arm as her butt slid down the bench ever so slightly.
"Right, that's enough," George said and brought his wand out from his coat, pointing it at the boy who was sitting on the edge of the boat and causing it to rock the most. A spark flew out from the tip of his wand and the boy yelped aloud, falling over the edge and into the ice cold water.
"That's what you get you annoying little shit," Fred laughed with Lee as the boy resurfaced and started crying loudly.
"George!" Blair cried in shock as the boy spluttered. His friends stopped their messing about and rushed to the side to try and pull him back over. "That's awful!"
"Oh look! We're here!" he ignored her and stood up from his seat, stepping up on to the stands that were coincidentally right next to him. He turned around and stuck his hand out for Blair to take, only to see her looking up at him with wide eyes and her mouth open at what he had done.
"Oh come on, he was being a twit! Just be thankful I did it while we were near the stands and not in the middle of the bleeding lake," he fought with a roll of his eyes. "Are you gonna get out of there or sail for a little while longer?"
Blair had no choice but to take George's hand and let him help her up from the boat, ensuring that she didn't suffer the same fate as the first year. They then walked up two flights of stairs before finding Ginny standing behind the barrier that looked over the lake below. Blair took the space next to Ginny while George stood behind her, looking over her head and having his arms around her waist. Fred and Lee also joined and waited anxiously for the second task to begin.

Braindead - A Zombie LitRPG
In a world where zombies are trash mobs that children kill for easy exp, what hope does one little zed have? Zed was minding his own business when his master's domain was invaded by a plucky young heroine looking to make a name for herself. An unlikely turn of events allowed Zed to come out on top, and gave him enough experience to rise above the life of a mindless minion. Unfortunately, it also left him with no body to share it with... literally, not figuratively! This story contains: Some 'jokes' containing questionable humour. An inhuman MC who has no interest in pesky things like romance or growing a conscience. Blue boxes, and a DnD style system messily mashed together with several other systems. Gore, but nothing too gratuitous. The main character is a severed head so what do you expect? Kingdom/base building, because what good is a zombie without a good horde behind them. Releases planned for each Sunday until I build up a decent backlog.

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.

A Nerd's Wet Dream Come True (Tossing an OC into Marvel)
John was an average man. At least that's what he tells himself at night. He lived in a rented apartment in the decent district, a well-paying job, and more student debt than he cared to think about being steadily paid off. Yet he was absolutely miserable. He spent his days living like a zombie, a slave in all but name to corporate. His only joy these days it seems was reading comics and writing fanfics. SI ones. Choke full of power fantasies and large harems. Yeah, even he had to admit he was a loser. His only redeeming feature seemed to be his photographic memory and the library's worth of comics and books he has read. Yet, when fate took pity on him and had John transported into the Marvel Universe, he was only all too happy to oblige. A second chance to make something of himself. Is he going to finally have the comfortable life he wanted? Will he laze away relying on his past life's knowledge or does he want more this time? Will his ambition and hard work lead to sweet fruits, or will it rot away in the darkness hiding beneath the colorful costumes of the hero's society? Now with crossovers! Be warned if you don't like to see OCs messing up the timeline or DC and other stuff showing up. I swear I'm not randomly adding stuff and there is a legitimate (as far as comic books and fanfics can be) plot reason why. (I'll be honest, I don't know "cannon" marvel really... I watched some movies and animated series as a kid, but I haven't picked up a comic in years. This is just some light-hearted and casual writing for fun. If there are any errors or something you think would be cool please let me know.) I'm also trying to have multiple main characters so that might be jarring for some people while I switch perspective. Sorry in advance, I'm new at this and idk what I'm doing, advice and feedback gladly welcomed!
