Harry came out from the champions' tent looking wary and paler than a sheet of parchment. He hadn't seen the grey dragon that was standing off to the side waiting for someone to dare go near its nest. The stadium was silent as they watched Harry spot the golden egg and begin marching over to the nest. The dragon chose this moment to reveal itself and slammed its tail down at the rock that was inches from his face.

The crowd yelped and Harry jumped away from the pieces of rock that flew towards him. Fred cooed and excitedly looked through his binoculars to see if any of Harry's bones had been broken, while George's grin dropped and he actually feared for the boy's life. Blair couldn't bring herself to remove her face from George's arm and clenched her eyes shut. Her hands were now tightly wrapped around George's wrist and she was sure she was cutting off his circulation.

"Use your wand Harry!" Hermione could be heard screaming.

"Accio Firebolt!"

The dragon inched closer and prepared to shoot its flames, making Harry leap behind a boulder as the ground around him melted into lava. Blair dared to peek down at the action and saw nothing but the dragon closing its mouth for a moment and a flying broomstick soar into the stadium. Harry appeared behind the half melted bolder and jumped on to the broomstick, now airborne around the stadium.

The stands cheered as the dragon attempted to follow but was stopped by the chain that hung around its neck. For a moment, it seemed like Harry was about to touch the golden egg. But the dragon blew more of its fire and made him rear his arm back and take another round at it. But the dragon yanked harshly at its chains and the sound of metal breaking caused everyone to stop their cheering and begin fearing for not only Harry's life, but their own.

"Brilliant!" Fred exclaimed.

"No, not brilliant!" George retorted as the dragon began freely flying around the stadium after Harry. The dragon's wings were far too big for such a small space and they skimmed the sides of the arena, making people duck and scream.

George saw the oncoming wing and wrapped his arms completely around Blair's small frame, yanking them both down and out of the wing's path. Fred wasn't as lucky and had his beanie pulled from his head, leaving his hair sticking up and eyes wide from the sudden action. Harry disappeared out the stadium and the dragon followed, finally giving the stands a bit of peace.

"You've got hat hair," Angelina giggled from behind and Fred glared harshly at her. He reached up and attempted to flatten his hair while George and Blair slowly ascended back up to their full height.

"Thanks..." Blair mumbled to George but made no move to shuffle out his arms.

"No problem," he replied and cracked a lop-sided smile at her, enjoying the feeling of having her against him. Blair blushed at the sight of his smile and turned away, looking for any sign of the dragon or Harry in the distance.

It was dead quiet as the sound of the dragon's cry echoed throughout the school grounds. Everyone stared and the worst of assumptions formed in their minds. Professor Dumbledore could even be seen looking worriedly around at the skies, while Igor Karkaroff could be seen with a subtle smirk on his face.

And just as Professor Dumbledore went to put his wand to his throat, the sound of a broomstick soaring through the sky made cheers erupt in the stadium once more. Harry appeared and flew towards the unoccupied nest and snatched up the golden egg. Blair found herself applauding loudly for Harry as he was taken back to the champions' tent to await his scores and have his injuries tended to.

"Let's go find Charlie," George said into Blair's ear and edged past Fred, his wrists still clamped in both of her hands.

The two made their way down the stairs of the stadium and jogged to catch up with the dragon tamers that were bound to be heading back into the Forbidden Forest. George let Blair clutch his wrist and saw his brother standing beside three other tamers as the last dragon was being pulled into the forest. Blair noticed the only redhead among the group and noticed his lanky figure was the same as Fred and George's. There was no doubt that he was the Weasley.

"Charlie!" George called out and the said man turned around, beaming at the sight of his younger brother.

"Hey Georgie!" he cheered and the two stopped in front of him.

Blair immediately noticed the thick shirt and trousers he wore. She had heard that dragon tamers needed to wear fireproof clothing in order for them to be partially safe while doing their work. But she saw that his hands that weren't covered, were littered with past burns and scrapes.

"Just thought we'd see you off," George started and Charlie nodded, before noticing the small girl that inched slowly out from behind George's tall frame.

"And who's this?" he asked, ignoring the urge to wiggle his eyebrows at his brother and tease him for having a lady friend.

"This is Blair," George stated, pulling his wrist out from her hands and putting his arm around her shoulders. "She wanted to ask you something actually."

Charlie looked down to her expectantly while holding a friendly smile. Blair noticed that all the Weasleys she met gave off kind and friendly auroras. And Charlie was no exception as his freckly face made her feel comfortable and calm despite the fact that there was a full grown dragon less than a hundred metres from her. With George next to her, Blair looked up to his brother and prepared herself to speak in her clearest voice.

"If you don't mind, I wanted to ask if you'd make sure that the Chinese Fireball is taken care of," she stated. "I saw that she crushed her eggs. Is there a way you could give her some new eggs to nurture?"

"You don't need to worry about that stuff, Blair," Charlie smiled at her and waved his hand dismissively. "We make sure that our dragons are always comfortable. Especially the Mother ones. We'll get her new eggs in place of her own and she'll be fine back in Romania."

"I'm glad. Thank you," Blair beamed and Charlie nodded.

"No worries, sweetheart," he replied before looking at George. "Well I better head off. See you guys later. Treat this one well, Georgie."

Charlie turned around and jogged after his group, waving over his shoulder at the two. George rolled his eyes at his brother's last statement but waved anyway, glancing down at Blair through the corner of his eye. She wore a soft smile and watched Charlie leave with admiration in her eyes.

The amount of Weasleys that Blair had met had amazed her. Seeing as the first time she had seen them was through the window of the Hogwarts Express at Platform nine and three quarters, she was grateful that she had been able to make good friends with a majority of the family. They gave her friendship and warmth that she had never experienced before and she hoped that she could spend the rest of her time at Hogwarts with them. Charlie also seemed very dedicated to his job and she wondered what other exciting and dangerous jobs the other Weasleys could have.

"I think there's another party in the common room for Harry," George noted as he turned to Blair. "Up for it?"

"I suppose."

---

"Knew you wouldn't die Harry!" Fred cheered as he and George hoisted the boy up on to their shoulders.

"Might lose a leg-" George continued from his other side.

"Or an arm-" Fred said.

"But pack it in all together?"

"Never!" they both cheered.

The Gryffindor common room had its fire lit and was full to the brim with students who stared up at Harry on Fred and George's shoulders. Blair stood with Ginny and Hermione as she smiled lightly at the relieved look on Harry's face. People actually seemed to believe Harry wasn't intending to be in the tournament and were actually supporting him now. The sight of his mangled arm and scratches on his face must have awoken something in the school. Blair did think that it was unfair to be so rude and ignorant towards Harry before the first task, but she supposed supporting him now was better than not supporting him at all.

"Go on, Harry!" Seamus yelled as he threw him the golden egg. "What's the clue?"

Harry grabbed the opening on top and turned it, allowing the sides of the egg to fall open and reveal a crystal egg inside. But the screams that came from the beautiful egg were ear piercing. Everyone's hands flew up to their ears and Fred and George even dropped poor Harry. Harry was able to regain his balance and shut the egg, cutting off the screams as if he was closing a sound-proof door.

"What the bloody hell was that?!" Ron's voice was heard and everyone turned to see the boy staring at Harry. It wasn't hard for everyone to know that Ron wanted to speak to Harry privately.

"Alright everyone, go back to your knitting," George called out. "This is going to be awkward enough without you lazy sods listening in."

Everyone left Harry and Ron to talk privately while they indulged in the food and drink on the table. Fred and George had once again gone to the kitchens and swayed the house-elves to give them some of their dishes.

Ginny quickly snatched Blair's arm and pulled her towards the armchairs that weren't occupied. She sat her down and turned to her while glancing wearingly up to her brothers who were occupied with the food on the table.

"So what's the label here?" Ginny asked and Blair was confused.

"Label?" she repeated.

"Yes!" Ginny cried. "What are you and George?! Have you labelled your relationship yet?!"

"W-We're friends-"

"Don't give me that," Ginny cut her off and waved her hand dismissively. "My brother has never had a 'friend' like you before. I saw the little snuggle you two were having during the task."

"H-He was pulling me away from the dragon's wing!" she tried to defend herself but was failing miserably.

"Oh don't make me laugh," Ginny rolled her eyes and slyly grinned at Blair. "You and my brother like each other. He's even told our Mum about you in his letters!"

"H-He what?" Blair blinked and looked over shoulder to where George was standing.

He stood in front of the food table while talking avidly to Fred, only to sense Blair's stare and look up in her direction. He smiled at her and waved, making Fred look her way also and meet eyes with Ginny. The two nodded to each other before Blair felt her arm being tugged and pulled to her feet.

"Where are we going?" Blair asked but Ginny stayed quiet. Blair looked back towards George and saw that Fred had thrown his arm around his shoulder was leading him somewhere also.

Fred and Ginny pushed the two towards the large glass-stained window that sat far from most of the people in the common room. The siblings nodded to each other before turning away and leaving Blair and George to watch them leave. They looked to each other in hopes to get some sort of explanation, but found that they were both just as confused.

"Any idea what we're supposed to do here?" Blair asked and George swallowed dryly.

"Not really," he lied while scratching the back of his neck.

Ever since they had gotten back to the common room, Fred had immediately started to interrogate George about the happenings of the first task. Fred then asked when he'd take the obvious next step and snog Blair, to which led to George blushing madly and stuttering over his words. George knew that Fred was trying to help him along but he still was preparing not only himself but Blair to do such things. He wasn't as confident and outgoing as Fred was. He needed time for things to develop while Fred would just lean in and snog the girl he's been dating for a month.

"So... how's your classes?" Blair decided to ask and George resisted the urge to eye roll. Blair would be one of the only people at Hogwarts that would result to talking about school work when in an awkward situation.

"I wouldn't know," George shrugged. "Have been ditching most of them."

"This is painful to watch," Ginny mumbled as she sat with Fred. The two were watching Blair and George from next to the table and were cringing at their brother's lack of action.

"I can't believe I'm related to someone who can't even ask a girl out properly," Fred sighed. "Apparently Blair didn't even know it was a date until about halfway through."

"Did he tell you that?" Ginny asked.

"No, Lee was standing right behind them in line at Zonko's."

"Christmas is coming up soon," George mentioned. "Do you have anything planned at home?"

"Oh um... I don't go home for Christmas," Blair mumbled and looked away from George, focusing on a table leg that had suddenly become interesting.

"Oh," George replied and felt like he shouldn't have mentioned the holiday. Judging by the fact that Blair refused to look at him, he concluded that he might have hit a nerve. But he didn't pry. But he did think of the next letter that he needed to send to his Mum about not coming home for Christmas this year.
