That night, Fred decided to stay at the flat. He did say that his family would be a little worried and suspicious that he hadn't come back after his check-up, but he had never said that he was checking the shop for any sign of Sophia. They were under the impression that he was checking that it hadn't been trashed or broken into. It would be risky telling them that Sophia was staying at the flat, so he decided to keep it under the radar for now.

Sophia lay awake in bed while Fred snoozed obliviously behind her. She guessed that he hadn't been sleeping too well since she had left on the day of the wedding, so it was nice to see him in the relaxed state. His face was nuzzled deep into her hair while his arms were tightly wrapped around her middle, the two facing the window that had its curtains securely shut. Sophia stared at these curtains and the moonlight that was attempting to shine through, and was deep in thought.

Ever since Fred said that she was here now and safe, she had been thinking over it excessively. They both knew that she wasn't at all safe. It was only a matter of time before the Ministry come searching in all possible places that she could be hiding in. They knew that she had a connection to the Weasley family and they'd surely know that the shop in Diagon Alley belonged to the Weasleys'. Once they get desperate enough, they'll come here and turn the place on its side in order to find a trace of her. She couldn't stay here for too long. The enchantments around the flat won't keep them out anymore.

But seeing Fred so happy to have her here was painful. He must know that she can't stay in one place for too long. She feared that he was pulling a blind over that fact in order to spend as much time with her as he could. For the whole Weasley clan, it was safer for them to stay at The Burrow away from Sophia. Harry must have had the same idea. He was tired of having people around him being affected by his problems. But Hermione and Ron would follow him to the edge of the Earth. It was their choice to follow him on this supposed mission. And Sophia didn't want to put the Weasley family in anymore danger.

When the morning did roll around, Sophia braced herself to explain to Fred of her concerns that kept her up all night. It made it even harder when Fred placed a big kiss on Sophia's and rolled out of bed to make some tea for the two of them, dressing himself quickly before rushing to the kitchen with a small spring in his step. She dressed herself as well before watching him move about the kitchen with a carefree attitude while standing on the other side of the kitchen counter, running over what she needed to say in her head. Taking the mug from his hands and mumbling a thank you, Fred guided her towards the sofa with his hand on the small of her back.

"I think we need to talk about something Freddie," Sophia started once they had settled on to the sofa. Fred raised his eyebrows at her but said nothing, allowing her to continue her difficult-to-say point.

"You do know that... I can't stay here.... right?" she questioned while looking up at him through her eyelashes. She waited for a moment before looking up at him fully and see the once cheerful expression now replaced with a frown on his face. He had put his tea down on the coffee table and was now sitting there staring at her with what could only be a mix between a grimace and a cringe.

"Where will you go?" he asked after a while, his tone soft and quiet. He had obviously forced himself to believe that Sophia would think she was safe in the flat and decide to stay. Even though there was that nagging voice in his head telling him that it wasn't going to be possible, he hoped that somehow she would believe the fantasy of the flat being impenetrable.

"I need to get the map first," she looked down at her hands. "If they have it, they have the upper hand. All they need is someone to read it and then they have unlimited power. They'll be able to predict strategy plans before they've even been made."

"How do you know where it is though? If it's that important, surely You Know Who will keep it on him at all times," Fred fought back. He was trying to stop Sophia from even thinking of leaving. "Your face is on posters everywhere right now. If anyone sees you, you're done for."

"It's got to be within the Ministry. Possibly in the Auror department, if that even exists anymore..." Sophia placed a hand on her forehead. The plan was starting to sound more and more irrational and stupid the more she thought about it. But it was all she had at this point. "As for getting by without anyone seeing me, remember how you said about being quite gifted in Potions?"

"No. Absolutely not. I don't remember that at all actually," Fred shook his head and sat up straight in his seat.

"Fred, I can't just leave the map in You Know Who's hands. This thing has caused more trouble than it's worth. I want it gone. And the only way to ensure that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands again, is to personally destroy it," Sophia instructed sternly.

"Even if you want to use Polyjuice Potion, it's gonna take a month to make," Fred retorted. "You don't even know if it's in the Ministry!"

"I have to try! There's no use just hiding all the time! And I know for a fact you still have a batch left over from last time!" Sophia stood up from the sofa and pointed down at Fred, now irritated and angry at his negative attitude. Fred obviously didn't like this and stood up as well, towering over her with an equally as irritated expression.

"So you're just going to walk right into Death Eater's hands are you?! Just throw away everything that the Order have done in order to keep you alive?!" his voice was loud as he reached forward and grabbed hold of her left hand, holding it up in order for her to see the metal ring that still sat on her finger. "I didn't give you this just so that you can go and willingly get yourself killed! I can't believe you'd even think about-"

"This will be pointless if they find someone to interpret the map Fred! We'll be living under the rule of You Know Who by then!" she yanked her hand out of his grip and stepped back. "If you don't want to help me, then fine! Go back to the Burrow and I'll do it myself!"

She stomped around the coffee table and started making her way back to their bedroom, absolutely livid with Fred's attitude. How could he be so blind to think that leaving the map in the wrong hands wouldn't matter? She would love to live in that sort of fantasy but it wasn't reality. That sort of mind set would get herself and a lot of other people killed.

"Hey! Sophia don't walk away from me!" Fred yelled after her as she grabbed her backpack from the bedroom they shared and shoved her shoes on. She heard him enter into the same room when she stood up straight and turned to walk back through to the spare room where she knew their potions lived. But Fred's broad frame blocked the doorway and she stopped, glaring viciously up at him.

"Move Fred," she demanded.

"No," he shook his head and crossed his arms over his chest, glaring down at her with just as much ferocity.

"Move!" she tried again.

"No."

Sophia let out a frustrated yelp and looked over to see her wand sitting on the nightstand a few feet away. Fred followed her gaze and saw exactly what she was looking at, already anticipating her next move. The two simultaneously sprinted towards the nightstand, pushing each other in order to get their first. Sophia nearly had a finger on the handle but it was snatched away, making her glare back at Fred who stood there with her wand in his hand.

"Give it Fred!" she shouted and went to reach for it, only making him hold it above his head.

"No," he said again and took advantage of his 6 ft 3 height. Sophia didn't have the patience to start jumping for it like some child, so she began sprinting towards the now unblocked doorway. Fred noticed this and cursed himself for being stupid to leave it unattended, and pointed Sophia's wand in her direction when she was only steps away.

"Incarcerous!" he flicked the wand and ropes shot out from the tip, shooting towards Sophia with the intent to stop her. But they hit the wall as she slipped through the doorway just in time, leaving them to lay on the floor with now no purpose. Fred grumbled and ran after her, seeing her disappear into the room at the end of the hall. He followed her and stopped in the doorway to see her holding a potion bottle filled with a grotesque looking substance.

"Put it down Sophia," Fred pointed the wand at her. "Don't make me hex you again."

He went to summon the bottle out of her hands but saw her holding his own wand by her side. He looked down to his pocket where he would usually keep his wand, and saw it gone. She had somehow grabbed it out of his pocket when they had both rushed towards her wand on the nightstand and she had slyly been able to keep it hidden until now.

"Go on then, I dare you," Sophia hissed and fiddled with the handle of the Fred's wand, ready to throw it up any moment to block his spells. Fred found himself falter at Sophia's determined and daring face, his tongue sweeping out to lick his bottom lip from nervousness. She stood there in a jumper that actually belonged to him and skinny jeans, her hair tied up into a high ponytail allowing him to see the face he had fallen in love. His hand shook as the wand pointed directly at her and he breathed heavily out of his nose, trying to prepare himself to hex her.

"Please don't go. It's not worth your life..." Fred shook his head and tried to stop the wobbling of his hand, hoping that his last attempt to stop her would work.

"I have to. You know I do," she said.

Sophia sighed and raised Fred's wand, thinking of the Muggle street that she knew the entrance to the Ministry lay. She knew he wouldn't be able to do it and it broke her heart to see him struggle with himself. He had the opportunity to stop her but he just couldn't do it. And once he lowered her wand with a crest-fallen look, Sophia flicked Fred's wand disappeared with a soft pop.

She stumbled on her landing and fell back against the brick wall that was behind her. Muggles walked by without a thought with their briefcases in hand and clad in their warm coats. Sophia realised that she was standing in the very alleyway that had the entrance to the Ministry nearby, in the middle of London. Looking down at the wand in her hand, she felt the dread and guilt settle in from the sight. She had taken Fred's wand in hopes that she would blackmail him in giving her own back and allow her to walk out the flat. But he had been more determined than she thought, forcing her to use his wand in order to apparate away. She remembered his shaking hand and pleading eyes, wanting her to give in and stay a while longer. And then he just had to look so heartbroken when she raised his wand to disappear. She felt awful.

Pushing down her tears and urge to chock up on her regret, she sank back into the shadows and started to wait for someone to pass. She knew that members of Ministry pass here in order to get to their daily jobs and it was only a matter of time before someone does. Fortunately, it was only a few minutes before a thin woman turned off the main street and started to make her way down the alleyway, oblivious to Sophia who hid in the corner of shadows. Raising Fred's wand, she cast a knockout jinx and the woman fell backwards into a deep sleep.

Taking a piece of the woman's straight black hair and putting it into the bottle of Polyjuice Potion, Sophia hid the woman behind a trash bin that sat against the opposite wall. She took her clothes and pulled them on to her, taking the potion with a strong cringe of disgust at the taste. Sophia now appeared as the thin woman now clad in a smart grey suit jacket and a matching pencil skirt. She conjured a blanket and laid it over the woman, covering her to some extent. If it had been any other non-desperate situation, Sophia would have felt bad for jinxing the woman and leaving her nearly naked behind a dumpster.

She took the woman's briefcase and pulled out the identity card, seeing the name Jane Mumpher. Sophia emptied out her backpack and put the essentials into the brief case before shrinking the bag in order to fit it into the case as well. She then stood up straight and looked up and down the alleyway, seeing if anyone had seen her dodgy acts. When she saw it was clear, the sleek black heels on Sophia's feet clicked against the floor as she made her way towards the entrance of the Ministry of Magic.
