Making her way up the creaking stairs, she came to her room that had been left completely untouched. Her single bed sat against the wall with its covers dusty and in need of wash. Sophia placed her hand on the chest of drawers that was next to her and felt the layer of dirt that had built up from its lack of use. She almost felt herself choke up from the sight of her old bedroom but pushed down the tears once she forced herself to accept why she had come back to her house in the first place.

She first grabbed the backpack from under her bed and shook out its contents, watching three knuts fall out as well as a notepad. The notepad was useless so she kicked it back under the bed before rushing to her drawers and grabbing all sorts of clothes. She focused on warm clothes as she doubted it would be hot during her time on the run and grabbed other necessities from around her room. Grabbing her wand, she cast an Extension charm on the bag in order to fit more inside and shoved in the one sleeping bag that sat under her chest of drawers. She then began to scavenge all around the house for extra coins. She shoved her hand down the sides of the sofa and looked under the fridge, coming out with a total of four galleons and ten knuts. It would be enough maybe for a meal or two but it was all she had.

Shoving all of this into her backpack, she then changed out of her dress and pulled on a long-sleeved shirt and a jumper. She threw the nude heels under her bed and pulled on comfortable trainers before hoisting her bag over her shoulder and marching her way back down the stairs.

It wouldn't be long until Death Eaters would start checking all the places they'd think Sophia would try to escape to. Obviously her house would be one of them as well as The Burrow. She would need to stay away from these two places for now and go into hiding again, maybe even staying in the Muggle world for a little while. It would be harder to find her around there.

Sophia stopped on her pursuit when she reached the front door and turned around to get one last look of her house. She could see that the dining room table in the kitchen had certain places that weren't covered in dust and stains. It had been where her father and Tonks would usually sit, creating patches of clean table surface. She ran a hand through her hair as she thought about what would happen to her father while he was at The Burrow. He was a half-breed and Death Eaters hate anything other than pure-bloods. She was afraid that they'd take him as a hostage and use him as leverage against her. She just hoped he was as smart as she thought and would lay low from wandering eyes.

Turning away from the house before she could persuade herself to stay any longer, she left out the front door and walked down the porch. She yanked all her hair up and tied it into a ponytail, keeping it out of her face. Sophia willed herself not to look back and felt fresh tears spring to her eyes at the feeling of leaving her house behind. Never would she have classified as her house as unsafe. In fact, it wasn't the house that was unsafe. It was her.

Back at The Burrow, the Death Eaters had unwillingly left after a full search of the premises. They had spent an hour rummaging through the house in hopes of finding something that could point towards the hiding of Harry Potter and Sophia Lupin, but had come up with nothing. The only thing of Sophia's that was in sight was Bell the Pygmy Puff, to which George stepped up and said that she belonged to him. The Death Eaters laughed mockingly at the fact of having such a feminine pet but George didn't falter. He said he was proud to have a Pygmy Puff. A girl one at that.

Fred had been able to hide away the photo album him and George had gotten Sophia for her birthday by disguising it as an old school text book. The Death Eaters did question where Ron was as they knew he was part of the Weasley family but they had already thought ahead for this. They disguised the ghoul that was in the loft as Ron with a bad case of Spattergroit and even let him into Ron's bed to make it more believable. The boneheads believed this lie and left the Burrow in search of other traces. The family was left under the gazebo with its chairs and tables flipped over from the chaos. The rest of the guests who had been stopped from leaving had rushed away as soon as the Death Eaters had left, all in too much of panic to speak to the hosts of the wedding.

"What 'orrible men!" Fleur spat as she ripped out the elegant feathers that had once been weaved into her hair. "Ruin my wedding for zis!"

"At least we're married now, Mrs Weasley," Bill replied with a small smirk and Fleur softened, melting into his side as he pressed his lips against the side of her head.

"You're right," Fleur agreed. "It does not matter now."

"But where did Harry, Ron and Hermione go? Where's Sophia?" Charlie questioned as he noticed the absence of the four.

"I'm afraid that I told Sophia to leave," Remus appeared before them with Tonks by his side. The couple had chosen to hide among the long grass surrounding The Burrow while the Death Eaters searched. Tonks had been able to transform herself into a frog because of her Metamorphmagus abilities while Remus had transfigured one of the wedding chairs into a cloak. He then cast a disillusion charm over it before covering himself, becoming invisible from the Death Eaters' view.

"Why would you do that?" Fred questioned, attempting to hide his anger from Remus' admittance. Remus could easily see that Fred doubted his good intentions but said nothing, only giving him a direct stare that showed he knew of his hidden suspicions.

"Dumbledore had Sophia's Sky map," Remus announced. "He apparently wrote in his will that it should be returned to her once he passed. Unfortunately, the Ministry were the ones who had his will and saw that such a thing existed. They did what they do best and took the map for themselves. And now that You Know Who has taken the Ministry..."

"So they're after her again?" Ginny confirmed and Remus nodded with a grim frown. Molly gasped lightly from the confirmation and shook her head in worry, taking hold of Arthur's hand that was coincidentally next to her.

"Where did you send her then?" Fred asked, again with an attempt to hide his patronisation. But he failed once more.

"I said for her to go anywhere other than here," Remus softly replied.

"Why would you say that?!" Fred exclaimed. "We'll put the barrier back up. The only reason the Death Eaters got through was because we took it down for the wedding. She'll be safe here."

"I understand your frustration but they know where she'll try and find safety. Now that the Ministry's gone, who knows what they have access to. I doubt the barrier will do much now," Remus explained and slid his hands into his pockets. Fred's face fell slack at the logical explanation and wanted to bite back with more ferocity. But he knew that Remus was right. The best thing for Sophia was for her to keep moving and not leave any traces of her existence. He suddenly felt embarrassed for doubting Sophia's own Father's antics and shrunk back in his chair with a crest-fallen expression.

"Don't worry Freddie," George appeared next to him. "She's smart. If she can make it through cleaning my bedroom, she can make it through this."

Sophia trekked along the hills of Brighton and made it through countless farmlands. She was in search of a forest that could keep her hidden for the night but there hadn't been any clusters of trees in sight. She was too afraid to apparate again as she would have to visualise a particular place in order to get there, and she couldn't think of any forests besides the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts. That definitely wasn't an option. The possibility of getting splinched was an issue as well as the loose desire for a forest wouldn't be enough for an apparation. She could really do herself harm this time.

She wouldn't be able to go to any Wizarding villages as they'd surely be monitored by Death Eaters. A Muggle place was a possibility but she had only Gringotts money which would be useless at a hotel or BnB. It seemed that the odds were all against Sophia at the moment.

She sighed as she stopped in the middle of yet another farm field and put her hands on her hips. She looked over her shoulder and all around her in hopes for a glimpse of a forest. But she only saw far off sheep and cows that munched obliviously on the grass they trotted on. A sheep that was a few feet away looked up from its meal at her and lazily blinked, before returning to the ground without a single thought. Sophia found it amusing and ironic that she was probably the second most wanted person in the Wizarding world after Harry Potter, yet was unknown by Muggles everywhere. If she was sure there was no Death Eaters around, she could walk down a Muggle street and not be looked at or thought twice about. Perception was a sinister factor in her situation.

Throwing her backpack on to the floor, Sophia flopped down with a frustrated huff. The sheep around her dispersed wearingly for a moment but seemed to forget she was there, continuing on with their meals much like the previous sheep had done when it had spotted her. She sat quietly with her arms propped up on her knees as she looked out on to the hills of greenery. She thought about the Weasleys and how she had left them to deal with the backlash of her and Harry's existence. They were known friends of the two which made them a sort after source for information and interrogation. She prayed that they were all okay and doing everything they could in order to keep themselves safe. She hoped they were clever enough to give her away rather than sacrifice their safety.

"Hey!" she cried as she felt a strong tug on her ponytail, making her jerk forwards and whip around to see a sheep chewing mindlessly on the grass that still lingered in its mouth. It went to lean forward again to chomp down on her hair and she jumped back once more.

"Stop it!" she pulled out her wand that was in her jean pocket and pointed it at the animal. "I'll make you into a wool coat if you do that again!"

The sheep belched at her and turned away, walking off with what she swore was a swagger in its step. Sophia grumbled and stood up from the grass, brushing off her legs from any dirt that lingered. She picked up her backpack and shoved her wand back into her pocket, continuing on her pointless walk. She shook her head at the idea of threatening a sheep and was convinced she was being delirious. How was she going to spend days, possibly weeks alone and in hiding? Would she even be able to send out a patronus to let everyone know she was alive? She wasn't sure if patronus' can be intercepted and read by the wrong person. It's probably safer to not take the chance.

After another hour of walking, Sophia had conquered at least three different hills. And as if someone was rewarding her for it, a cluster of trees could be seen at the bottom of the last hill. The trees lead into a large forest that looked as if it went on forever. Through her panting state, Sophia was relieved to finally find a suitable hiding spot for the night. It had started to get dark too and it would soon get a whole lot colder.

She found herself running down the last hill and immediately started weaving through the forest. She lit her wand with the Lumos charm and began to make her way deeper and deeper into the trees. Soon coming to a small clearing, she looked up at the trees that surrounded her. She picked the one to her right out of sheer randomness and started to climb up its body, struggling immensely because of her poor physical health. Being in hiding for months on end didn't really allow much physical activity. Not that she did any anyway.

Her muscles burned from the activity but she powered through, eventually reached a sturdy branch and heaved herself up on to it, wobbling dangerously before steadying herself with a sigh in relief. Sophia put her back to the tree and pulled out the sleeping bag that she had squeezed into her backpack, and laid it over her legs. It was uncomfortable to sit upright against the tree's scratchy bark but she had no choice, forcing herself to lean against it and try to fall into a form of sleep. But all she could think about was the fact that all of this, was because of that wretched map. She swore at that moment, that she would burn the damned thing once she got her hands on it again.
