The summer had been eventful to say the least. The Order had discussed that all the people who had disappeared before Dumbledore's death, have now had their investigations abolished. The people who had gone missing were now presumed dead or never to be found, making the investigations pointless to the Ministry. Their priority was now the taking of Hogwarts and the looming takeover of Death Eaters. The only positive thing about this was that Sophia was now allowed to be out in public. However, most of the Order has been hanging low as they are targets by Death Eaters with their association with Harry Potter. They would always have to go out in pairs for safety and not draw any unwanted attention to themselves. But Sophia was just happy to be able to go outside.

Sophia's first public appearance was going to be Bill and Fleur's wedding. The Burrow was put into chaos from the preparations and Molly turned into a form of goblin from stress. It didn't help that Fleur was very particular on how she wanted things done, but Sophia attempted to keep the middle ground and try to please both of the women. The men of the house weren't interested in trying to calm Molly and satisfy Fleur, so it was up to Sophia to use her level-headedness.

"What is zis music?" Fleur questioned as the record player in the living room played it's tune. "So old-fashion."

"It's Mum's favourite record," Ginny commented and a scoff was heard from the French bride, calling out for Bill as she exited into the hallway.

"Mental," Charlie mumbled as he slouched in his seat on the sofa. "Absolutely mental."

"I don't know if Bill should go through with this," Ron shook his head with his arms crossed.

"That's not your choice Ronnie-kins," George retorted. "Just because you fancy her doesn't mean you have an input."

"I do not fancy her!" Ron cried desperately making the twins' snigger.

"Right, and I'm not the favourite child," Charlie scoffed and an argument erupted from all the redheads.

"That's not true!"

"I'm surely Dad's favourite."

"Then I'm Mum's!"

"They like us all equally guys!"

Sophia felt her head pound at the yelling that was being thrown over the top of her head. She was the only one in the living room that wasn't a Weasley yet she was forced to listen to the petty fighting. Tensions were high in The Burrow not just from the wedding, but from the way the Wizarding world currently was. It seemed barbaric to have something as joyous as wedding during this time and Molly made it clear that she wasn't happy with the early engagement. She constantly muttered to herself about how much Bill was rushing things with Fleur, but everyone understood that they were afraid. It was a similar fear that Sophia had recently expressed to Hermione. They were afraid that there would never be a time to marry among the chaos.

"Come on Ronnie-kins, just admit it," Fred smirked. "You fancy the frog and that's fine-"

"I do not fancy the frog!"

"Will you guys quit it?!" Sophia's raised voice immediately made the redheads silence their bickering. Her expression showed clear irritation making them sink down in their seats with bowed heads. Charlie was the only one who didn't cower away and sat upright with a smirk on his face. Fred and George especially attempted to avoid Sophia's individual glares and winced when they felt her head shoot to their direction.

"You guys are hours away from going on one of the most dangerous Order missions ever! Yet you're here arguing like children!" Sophia narrowed her eyes at Ron and the twins, Charlie's brief smirk slipping of his face at the mention of the mission.

She sighed aloud and got up from her seat on the sofa, heading towards where Fleur had previously disappeared. The atmosphere left in the living room was tense as the siblings looked to each other with a similar guilt and realisation. They indeed would be carrying out an Order mission tonight that was extremely dangerous. They needed to take Harry from his aunt and uncle's house and get him to The Burrow. Once he would leave the house, the Trace that the Ministry keeps on under-seventeen-year-olds would be broken as he would no longer call number 4 Privet Drive a form of home. This means that he will be an easy target for searching Death Eaters and even You Know Who himself. The Order had a very dangerous plan to disguise Harry among them, but it was a much disliked plan by many. Sophia in fact hated the plan.

"Well go on Fredster," Charlie spoke up through the thick silence, the boy addressed turning to him with a confused look. "Work your lover-boy magic."

Fred gulped as he thought of following after Sophia and engaging in yet another argument on how stressed she was about this mission. He had tried many times to persuade her to be settled with the idea of him and the others transporting Harry back to The Burrow. But they had all resulted in Sophia being close to tears and walking out of the room to sit on the front porch, staying there until Molly, Ginny or Fleur would come out and talk to her. Fred was praying that this wouldn't affect their relationship in any way and was just a rough patch because of the desperate and dangerous times. He was only reassured it was temporary by the sight of the three-star necklace around her neck and the silver ring that still sat on her finger.

He found her in the backyard of The Burrow, which was quite unusual as he thought he'd find her on the porch steps. She sat at the wooden table that they frequently used for meal times when guests would come for Dinner. Her elbows were propped up and she put her face in between her fists, squishing her cheeks together to appear like a small child. Fred refrained from grinning at what he found was an adorable sight and pursed his lips together with his hands slipping into his trouser pockets. He took the moment to admire how much longer her hair grown since her unfortunate haircut, the tips now reaching past her shoulders. The scabs that once covered her body had begun to go pink and fade into white scars. The summer had been a good time for her to further recollect herself, but she was obviously being blocked by this worry of the mission.

Fred slipped into the seat opposite Sophia and wordlessly watched as her eyes zeroed in on him. He didn't see any anger but noticed the worry and exhausted sheen that coated her eyes. He didn't like seeing her like this and he wished that she would understand that it has to be done.

"I don't suppose you'd appreciate a Fainting Fancy to calm your nerves?" Fred tried and Sophia's sitting position changed, now leaning forward over the table to narrow her eyes at him. He squirmed in his place and regretted ever opening his mouth, turning his gaze down to his hands that sat clasped together on the table.

"This isn't funny Fred," Sophia stated.

"I know it isn't, I'm just... I just don't know what to say really," Fred shrugged.

"I wouldn't mind so much if I was allowed to come."

"Do we have to go through this again? You're staying here with Mum and Ginny," Fred shook his head and Sophia huffed.

"Just because you don't think I can protect myself-"

"It's not just me Sophia!" he cried out in frustration and she went silent. "Your dad especially doesn't want you to come. Mum would rather go than have you anywhere other than here. This isn't just about me, love. It never was."

Sophia felt herself crumble and sink low into a slouched posture. She crossed her arms on the table and let her face fall into them, not wanting to talk or see anyone. She may have gotten more stable since the time of her capture, but she still wasn't confident or strong enough to handle all the worry and stress that comes with life in the current Wizarding world. She still relied on others for the things that she was too afraid to face herself, and this would definitely be one of those instances. No matter how much she argued that she'd be okay on the mission, she knew that she wouldn't be.

"Please come back..." she pleaded. "Don't do anything stupid."

"This whole thing's stupid love, it's hard not to-"

Sophia shot him another look and he silenced himself without smiling. He nodded to himself and mumbled, "Right, not the right time."

That night was pure agony. Molly told Ginny and Sophia to sit in the living room while she nervously scrubbed at a pan that was already spotless. The two girls sat on the sofa with Bell the Pygmy Puff in Sophia's palms and Arnold sitting on Ginny's shoulder. There was no denying that they were riddled with worry for everyone who was due to come back anytime soon. Molly could barely contain herself as she furiously scrubbed with water flying over the sides of the sink.

A faint banging was heard from outside and it slowly grew louder as if it was coming nearer to the house. Ginny and Sophia simultaneously looked up to Molly who did the same, before they all jumped up to head towards the front door. They walked out on to the porch and spotted who they assumed was the real Harry walking beside Hagrid. The two were wet and panting as they trudged out of the field and into the clearing.

"Are we the first ones back?" Harry exclaimed in disbelief.

"Yes, but at least you two are alright," Molly nodded with an attempt of a smile. Sophia met eyes with Harry as he looked between the women with frightened eyes. She shifted her weight from foot to foot and nibbled on her bottom lip, Bell still sitting in her palms squeaking softly. Ginny walked forward to speak to him and he broke eye contact with Sophia, leaving her to begin biting the nail on her thumb in worry. Fred and Arthur were meant to be back first with her Father and George, but neither of them has showed with their Portkeys.

While Sophia continued to stand out on the porch, a pop was heard from within the field making her and the remaining people look towards it. Two figures emerged, except one was supporting another Harry, stumbling under the weight as they made their way into the clearing. First came the relief of the sight of Sophia's father being okay, but it was quickly replaced with astonishment and worry as the Harry morphed into a particular redhead.

"Georgie!" Sophia sobbed and the real Harry rushed forward to help Remus. George slipped in and out of consciousness from the gruesome wound that could be seen on the side of his head. A prominent hole was seen where his ear should be, blood gliding down his neck and making his eyes lower and his head sag from the shock and exhaustion.

Harry and Remus slowly set George down on the sofa where he immediately went unconscious, before the man grabbed hold of Harry and held him against the wall threateningly. Sophia barely listened to her Father's interrogation and fell beside George on to her knees. She felt light tears fall down her cheeks as she pushed away the orange hairs that stuck into the wound and grabbed her wand. She produced a clean, damp rag and began to dab it against George's skin, a groan suddenly coming from his throat as he cracked his eyes open.

"I swear I've had this dream before..." he mumbled in a dreary voice.

"Georgie, you've just had your ear cursed off," Sophia reminded him but he was incoherent.

"Am I still better looking than Freddie though?" George asked with his eyes sliding shut again. Sophia felt a small smile creep on to her face and more tears leaked from her eyes, relieved that he wasn't injured enough to lose his sense of humour.

"I'm not answering that," she mused.

"Tsk, means you agree."

George fell silent and slipped into a sleep again. This made Sophia aware of her surroundings again and hear the door of The Burrow slam open, seeing that the rest of the Order had returned and Fred and Arthur had just walked through. The worry that she once had for Fred, had diffused from the sight of George's wound and she had forgotten that Fred was also out in harm's way. Luckily, she didn't have time to return to this state as Fred looked unharmed. He gave her a quick glance before he sat down beside her, concerned for the gruesome hole that was in the side of his twin's head.

"How you feelin' Georgie?" Fred whispered and his brother awoke at that moment, as if he sensed his entrance.

"Saint-like."

"...Come again?"

"Saint-like. I'm holey. Get it, Fred?" George grinned widely and pointed to the bloody hole. A very faint laugh rumbled through the group and Sophia pursed her lips to stop herself from giggling. Fred shook his head but also displayed a wide grin.

"Of all the ear-related jokes, you go with 'I'm holey'? That's pathetic," Fred laughed and felt Sophia's head fall on to his shoulder in comfort.

"At least I'm still better looking than you. Sophia even said so," George motioned his head to the girl with closed eyelids. Fred turned his gaze to Sophia and she shook her lightly with a smile, making him roll his eyes playfully.
