"Do you have everything dear? Wand? Clothes?"
"Yes Molly."
"We'll be back soon anyway for Order meetings. She can grab the stuff she missed then."
"Oh yes I know. I'm just frolicking is all."
Sophia stood with Fred and George in the hallway while Molly was straightening out the girl's 'S' sweater. The woman had been actively delaying their departure by offering to take some leftovers for their meals and pushing Sophia to check the house one more time to pick up anything she may leave behind. The twins had to forcefully stop themselves from rolling their eyes at their mother's obvious scheme but kept their lips sealed, knowing they'd be pummeled if they said anything. They just let Molly fuss over Sophia for as long as she needed, just to get it out of her system. The woman hadn't had the house so empty in a while so the withdrawal was going to be severe. She obviously loved Sophia and needed to be let down gently.
"Did you two put the protection spells around the flat?" Molly pointed sternly at the two.
"Yes Mum," they replied simultaneously. "All fourteen of them."
"Good," Molly nodded and sighed loudly, taking hold of Sophia's hands into her own. "Now, if you feel homesick at anytime Sophia, you are always welcome back here-"
"This isn't even her real home Mum, how can she be homesick-" George butt in but physically jumped back from the glare his mother sent him. Sophia held back a laugh by pursing her lips as Molly turned her full attention back to her, dropping the glare immediately and softening into her motherly smile.
"Don't be a stranger," Molly attempted to beam but the tears that had begun to swim in her eyes made her choke, now streaming down her wrinkly cheeks. "Oh Sophia!"
The woman threw herself towards the girl and she barely had time to catch her, stumbling back with her arms around Molly's middle. Fred steadied her by putting his hands on her biceps and watched as Molly sobbed into Sophia's shoulder. This was worse than when the twins said they were taking Sophia to see the shop. She was clutching on to Sophia with her dear life and crying into her sweater without any hesitation. The girl attempted to comfort the woman by saying she'd be back before she knew it but Molly couldn't hear it over her loud hiccups. Fred and George looked at each other and wordlessly agreed to remove their mother from Sophia, grabbing one chubby arm each and softly pulling them off of her shoulders.
"Alright Mum, I think you've made your point," Fred murmured, the woman pulling out her signature handkerchief. "We really should be going."
"Oh alright. I suppose I can't delay it any longer," Molly sniffled and blew obnoxiously into her handkerchief. Sophia felt small tears springing to her own eyes and smiled watery at the woman she had grown attached to. She couldn't have asked for a more lovely and caring woman to help her with the recovery process. Molly had gone above and beyond for Sophia. She wouldn't have recovered so quickly if it wasn't for Molly's constant checks and home-made cooking.
"Thank you Molly. For everything," Sophia humbly let one tear drop from her lashes. Molly hiccuped once and displayed the biggest of smile, nodding modestly and even stepped forward for another embrace that would surely last an hour.
"Okay! Time to go!" George exclaimed and picked up Sophia's trunk, hurrying out the door while Fred took hold of Sophia's hand. He headed for the door at the end of the hallway and pulled Sophia along, the girl looking over her shoulder and waving merrily at Molly who wiped at her eyes.

"I love you Molly!"
"I love you too dear!"
The Apparation from The Burrow to the shop was surreal for Sophia. It would be the last time she'd wake up at The Burrow and wait everyday for Fred and George to come home for dinner. It would be the last time she'd sit through Molly's chatting about how much she didn't like Mundungus Fletcher or Mad-Eye's butch attitude. She would miss living at The Burrow. But then again, it was no longer safe for her to be there. The Order had immediately begun putting the protective spells back around The Burrow when they had heard about the fire, but it would take at least a month for it to be suitable for Sophia's safety. They were still trying to figure out how Bellatrix Lestrange and Fenrir Greyback (the other Death Eater who had been moments away from confronting Ginny and Harry in the field) made it through the most secure barrier in the Wizarding world besides the one that surrounded Hogwarts. The Death Eaters knew that Sophia was at The Burrow but they wouldn't know that she was at Weasley Wizard Wheezes. They thought the Order would be too scared to let her reside there.
"No one can get through this door unless they are invited in by me, George or you," Fred explained when they had made it into the shop and up the staircase towards the flat. "So don't go inviting Death Eaters round for tea."
"As if I would," Sophia rolled her eyes and followed him through the door with George in toe.
The flat was just as she had last seen it. The small kitchen was attached to the small living room that looked out on to Diagon Alley. The kitchen had a load of dishes in its sink that the boys' hadn't bothered to wash up and she didn't need to open the fridge to know that it was empty. They relied solely on Molly's meals and the pub food that was served at the Leaky Cauldron. Sophia's nose wrinkled at the sofa that sat against the wall in the living room that had its cushions thrown on to the floor and one even was on the kitchen floor.
"We charmed the cushions to fix themselves but they decided that they wanted to be anywhere but on the sofa," George explained when he caught Sophia looking at the cushion near her feet.
"And you didn't just pick them up manually?" she inquired.
"Pft no?" George gave her a 'duh' look while putting her trunk down on the floor.
"George don't be lazy, take her trunk to the bedroom," Fred instructed with a hand on his hip, motioning his hand towards the hallway where the bedrooms were located. George gave his brother a glare and flicked his wand, sending the trunk soaring across the floor and down the hall. Sophia watched with an amused smile as her trunk disappeared behind the wall and could hear it bump into the wood of the bedroom door, forcefully bashing against it in order to get through.
"Oh for the love of-" George stomped away down the hall and could be heard kicking the door open to let the trunk in.
"It would have been easier to just-"
"I know!"
Sophia rolled her eyes and looked to Fred who was standing next to her with his face in his palm from pure annoyance. She didn't know how the two had survived with living together for nearly a year now. Their washing was still done by Molly and they obviously hadn't been washing their dishes or cleaning the house at all. It would only take a flick of their wands but that even seemed too hard.

"So where am I sleeping?" Sophia chose to ask.
"In my room of course," Fred pulled his face out of his palm with a big smile on his face. He took hold of her hand once again and briskly walked down the hall, following the skid marks that had marked the wooden floor from the scraping for Sophia's trunk. He lead her past two of the rooms before coming to the one that was sat on the right side, the skid marks leading into the room and ending where Sophia's trunk lay in the corner. The room had a queen-sized bed with a maroon coloured duvet and it was left unmade. A wardrobe sat in the corner completely open with its contents spilled all over the floor, physically making Sophia cringe at the mixture of clean and used clothes.
"This room is just complete Aries energy," Sophia mumbled. "I'm not sleeping in here."
"What?!" Fred exclaimed. "Why?"
"It's a mess Fred!" Sophia motioned to the poor excuse for a bedroom. "It's worse than what your dorm room looked like!"
Fred groaned aloud and flicked his wand dramatically, causing all the clothes to separate into clean and dirty piles. The clean piles flew back into the wardrobe and the doors shut behind them with a loud thud. The dirty pile flew into the laundry basket that was sitting in the corner and became full to the brim. The bed covers untangled themselves and spread out neatly across the bed, completing the now pleasing-to-look-at room.
"Happy now?" Fred sarcastically asked and Sophia smiled annoyingly.
"Very."
She walked forward and sat down on the edge of the made bed, her backside sinking low into the comfy duvet. Her feet hung over the side and she childishly swung them back and forth, looking around the bare walls with wandering eyes. Fred felt a small smile climbing on to his face as he watched Sophia look around his room curiously, feeling a familiar feeling of admiration burst from his chest.
"You need to get some pictures up on your walls. They're so bare," Sophia commented.
"I do have one picture actually," Fred fought back and pointed to the lonesome picture that sat just above his nightstand beside his bed. Sophia looked to where his finger was pointing and saw the small black and white photograph that he had taped to the wall. She got up from Fred's bed and leaned over to peer at the picture, leaning closer at the scene that played on repeated.
"Mum gave it to me to have," Fred appeared over her shoulder and she glanced at him to see he had his hands on his knees and was leaning down, just like she was. "Do you remember?"
The photograph showed the kitchen of Grimmauld Place on Christmas day. Part of the huge box that was filled to the brim with Chocolate Frogs was seen sitting on the table, but the main subjects of the scene were Sophia and Fred hugging each other tightly. Sophia's face was buried into his Christmas jumper and Fred's face was taken up by the huge smile that made the corners of his eyes crinkle. The scene replayed the slow swaying the couple did while Sirius Black was seen sitting the nearest with a cheek smile on his face.
"Yeah I remember," Sophia nodded and found herself smiling at the sight. She noticed how much younger she seemed in the picture. It felt like she had aged at least ten years since that particular Christmas. The Sophia in the photo had hardly experienced anything yet. She wasn't aware that she was being closely watched through one of her best friends. She wasn't aware that her torture was being planned at that very moment.
"I bought a camera too. So we can take more like this," Fred motioned his head towards the picture once he had turned his head to face Sophia. She turned to him as well and saw that he was wearing a warm smile, making her insides bubble. She stood up straight while staring back at him and waited for him to do the same, towering over her once again.
"Do you think that... when the war does happens, we'll be okay?" Sophia questioned while fiddling with her fingers from habit.
"I'd like to think so," Fred nodded, placing his palms on her sides. "What do you think?"
"I can't tell..."
Fred bit his lip at the worried look on Sophia's face. He knew it wasn't the time but somehow felt like it was. He bowed his head down so his nose brushed against Sophia's, making her look up from her fiddling fingers and notice his ginger lashes low against his cheeks. They hadn't had a moment to themselves since Fred had left Hogwarts. Their time had been too corrupted by Order meetings and the looming presence of Fred's parents and siblings while at The Burrow.
Sophia's plump lips parted as Fred's breath fanned from her nose to her chin, inching closer and closer. Fred's lips touched Sophia's first and immediately began to lap together as they both shut their eyes in bliss. Sophia's arms wrapped around the back of his neck and began to toy with the small hairs that she could reach. Fred's arms tightened around her waist and pulled her closer so that she was flush against him. He had begun to feel his heart rate fasten and feel his brow begin to perspire, getting more and more anxious as he slipped his tongue past Sophia's lips. He squeezed Sophia's sides before pulling his wand out from his back pocket and pointing it towards the door. It flew shut and the sound of the lock clicking shut echoed throughout the room.
"W-Wait Fred-" Sophia pulled her face away and leaned back in his arms. Fred opened his eyes and raised his eyebrows at her actions, but weakened when he saw her expression.
"Right. Not yet," he nodded and Sophia sent him a close-lipped smile. Instead, she leaned forward to peck a kiss against his cheek then positioned her head in the space between his shoulder and neck. Fred settled with the embrace and looked from over her shoulder to the moving photograph on his wall. They were in a similar position then yet so much was different. Their smiles were much wider in the photo and they knew nothing of what was coming. Fred lowered his eyes and ensured to squeeze Sophia tighter, dreading about what was to come.
