Arthur was able to come to Grimmauld Place by Christmas and was in a very jolly mood to be out of the hospital. The man was wrapped in bandages from head to toe but didn't fail to wish everyone a Merry Christmas with extra festivity on Christmas morning. The house had been decorated quite nicely by the youngsters of the house along with Molly Weasley with Christmas trees in every room and even charmed to have fake snow litter from the ceiling and disappear before it hit the floor. Mrs Weasley was in a much better mood to have her husband home as were their children.

Remus and Sophia had chosen to stay at Grimmauld Place for Christmas too, making it the first Christmas they'd spend with other people. It was surreal to have Ginny jumping on Sophia's bed on Christmas morning and waking her up with a cry of excitement for presents. It was also new to have the twins apparate into her and Ginny's room while she was changing, which resulted in a flurry of Fred tackling George to floor to stop him from seeing anything he shouldn't.

"Why would you come in here like that?!"

"We didn't know!"

"George stop looking!"

"I'm not!"

Sitting down at Breakfast that morning was different too. Remus sat with Sirius and the Weasley parents at the head of the table while Sophia sat with Harry and the Weasley children at the other end. Hermione had said she wanted to spend Christmas with her parents this year so she wouldn't be seeing them until the holidays were over. Sophia had discreetly managed to pick a seat furthest from Harry in an attempt to avoid him much like Dumbledore had instructed. Lucky for her, no one had noticed this yet. Molly had made an artery-clogging breakfast that Sophia chowed into without a second thought. It was a nice change to have such a magnificent meal at Christmas as her father couldn't ever afford such luxuries, but she didn't dare compare or complain.

The Lupins' hadn't discussed their conversation that was had on the night of Arthur's attack. Christmas wasn't the time for such a topic so they chose to act as if nothing was different. But it definitely was. Remus was absolutely swimming in worry about the fact that Sophia now knew how desirable she was to the most feared man of their current time. Sophia tried not to show it, but she was also absolutely terrified.

"Presents' time!" Molly cheered once they had finished their Breakfast. She ventured to the small Christmas tree that was in the corner and began distributing wrapped gifts to everyone at the table, making a verbal announcement of 'a big box for Ron!'.

Sophia was touched once again when Molly handed her a present from the Weasley family as well as handing one to Remus. The Lupins' looked to each other from across the table and smiled bashfully at each other, opening up the gifts to find fluffy sweaters for the both of them. The large 'M' stitched into Remus's made Sophia laugh behind her hands, pulling a similar one out of her wrapping.

"For Moony right?" Sirius exclaimed from his spot excitedly as Remus had a slightly confused look.

"Yes, I thought it would be a little confusing to have an 'R' as Ron here has the same," Molly nodded with a bright smile. "I hope you don't mind Remus."

Remus thanked the woman whole-heartedly, appreciating it more than he could express. Sirius also received a gift from Molly and pulled out a sweater that displayed a 'P' on the front for Padfoot. He gushed at the lettering and went to question about it being the same letter of the first name of one of Molly's children who wasn't present, but was quickly kicked in the leg by Ron. Any mention of Percy would send the woman into a state of weeps and she was just so happy this morning, they didn't want to ruin it. The man yelped and glared at the boy with a questionable look, but let it go when all of the Weasley children glared at him collectively.

Sophia held up her sweater and went to thank the woman also but stopped when she saw it was very large and displayed the letter 'F' instead of an 'S' like her previous one. Her eyes flickered to her father who had just folded up his own sweater and saw the odd lettering on her's, throwing her an almost identical confused expression.

"Um... I don't mean to be rude Mrs Weasley, but is this supposed to be mine?" she questioned while turning to show it to Molly who had just finished kissing Harry on the cheek when handing him his present. The table turned to look at the over-sized sweater and odd letter while Molly rushed over with a nervous laugh.

"Oh how silly of me!" she took the sweater and handed it to Fred instead. She took the unopened present that was sitting in front of him and handed it to Sophia. "Must of switched yours' up!"

"Oh how coincidental," George muttered and the youngsters next to him laughed cheekily. "Definitely not a pre-wedding gift right Mum?"

"Don't be silly George," Molly swatted at his shoulder but hid her smile at her purpose mistake. Sophia and Fred exchanged a look with a similar expression, holding back their smiles and busied themselves with the rest of their presents. Sophia was ecstatic to receive three Chocolate Frogs from her Father to which held the last three trading cards she needed, excitedly showing Fred who sat opposite her after thanking her Father gleefully.

"Look!" she beamed.

"Brilliant! Only forty more to go!" Fred cheekily retorted and watched her face fall from glee to confusion before morphing into disappointment.

"W-What? Forty?!"

"Nice one mate," George nudged him in the ribs from overhearing the conversation. "Look at her. She was so happy."

Sophia sat there for a moment while looking down at the three cards with a crestfallen expression. Fred almost felt guilty for finally telling her about the many more cards she would have to get to complete the set, but quickly pushed it aside by pulling up the huge box out from under the Christmas tree and slamming it down on the table in front of her. The loud bang of the box made everyone jump and look up to see him pushing it towards her, barely able to see her over the huge present.

"T-This is mine?" she questioned unsure and Fred nodded.

"Open it!" he exclaimed and stood up to watch her from above.

Everyone was just as confused as Sophia, watching her eagerly tear open the wrapping paper. She was greeted by a large plain brown box to which she suddenly thought that he might have just put some sort of charm on it to make it feel heavy. She lifted the lid and expected to find nothing in there, but found it filled to the top with her favourite Honeydukes treat. Over forty Chocolate Frogs sat inside and it made her heart swell at the sight.

"Oh Merlin Fred!" she cried as she stood to her feet, the chair pushing back to the wall with a scrape from her excitement. "This is amazing!"

"So now we can spend the whole day completing the card set!" Fred added and looked mighty proud of himself. He had spent a lot of the the money he had gotten from the sales of his and George's Weasley Wizard Wheezes products on her for Christmas. Sophia couldn't contain her happiness and dashed round the table to tackle him in hug, squeezing his torso while nuzzling her face into his jumper. Fred laughed and hugged her back with just as much passion, well aware of the many eyes watching them at the table. Molly sneakily pulled a Polaroid camera off the kitchen counter and held it up to her eye, snapping a picture of her son embracing the small girl with big smiles on their faces. The flash and the loud 'click' made the two youngsters turn their heads and spot the woman fanning the Polaroid that spurted out from the camera, fanning it with a watery smile on her face.

"You two are just so sweet," she sniffled when the photograph developed, showing a moving picture of Fred and Sophia hugging while smiling brightly.

"Gosh Mum," Ginny rolled her eyes at her mother that pulled a handkerchief from her apron, dabbing at her eyes and holding the Polaroid close to her chest. She suddenly jumped in her place with an idea.

"Oh! We must take a group one!" she exclaimed. "Everyone into the living room! Quickly now! Oh Arthur let me help you-"

Sophia and Fred only just pulled away once everyone slowly started making their way into the living room. The girl was still buzzing with excitement at Fred's Christmas present, keeping her hands on his sides while smiling up at him.

"Your mum's so emotional," she giggled once they were alone in the kitchen.

"I know, she's a menace," Fred rolled his eyes.

"No no she's adorable," Sophia shook her head. "I would kill for a mum like that..."

"Well now you have one!" he exclaimed with a bright smile. Molly was indeed a mother to more than just her children. She had taken Harry, Hermione and Sophia in as if they were her children, and Sophia brightened at the thought of having a motherly figure like Molly.

"Hurry up you two!" Sirius's voice was heard from the living room, making the couple stop their chitchat and move towards the loud exclaims and shuffling of feet.

Molly was trying to line everyone up in a way that would allow everyone to be seen for the photograph. She was trying to force Arthur to sit in the armchair she had put in the middle of the room so that he wouldn't have to stand, but only resulted in him jumping up from it and saying he was perfectly fine to stand. She pushed Sirius, Remus, Fred, George and eventually Arthur in the back because of their height and ushering Harry, Ron, Ginny and Sophia to stand in the front.

"Oh Harry you stand here dear," Molly pushed him to stand in front of Sirius, beaming at the sight of the Godfather and Godson together.

"Ow Ron! That was my foot!" Ginny cried while shoving her brother aside.

"How can I not with your big feet?"

"That doesn't work with girls Ickle-Ronnie," George spoke from his place with his crude intentions.

"Stop it George," Arthur warned.

"Ah that's it!", Mrs Weasley cheered, completely oblivious of the conversation. She left the Polaroid camera to float from her non-verbal spell and hurried to stand in front of Arthur. She looked down the line to check if they were all in the right position and was nearly ready, until she walked forward again much to everyone's dismay.

"Oh no Sophia dear, you stand here," Molly took hold of her arm and pulled away from her place in front of Remus, forcing Ron and Ginny to part for her to stand in between them. Sophia was confused until she looked over her shoulder to see Fred rolling his eyes directly behind her, now understanding the placement.

"Okay that should be right now!" the woman took her place in front of Arthur again, getting ready to flick her wand for the camera to take it's photo. "Everyone smile!"

"Everyone say 'Moony'!" Sirius cheered just as Molly flicked her wand.

"MOONY!" everyone except Remus cheered, the man looking over everyone's heads to glare at his friend at the end of the group. The camera made a loud 'click' and the Polaroid immediately developed, allowing everyone to sag from their straight postures. Molly happily rushed forward and took hold of the Polaroid and camera, looking at the moving picture that showed the group smiling brightly while saying 'Moony'. Remus could be seen glaring at Sirius from across the room while the man slung his arm around Harry's shoulder in a manly hug, the boy smiling happily for once. Arthur and Molly were seen standing proudly with sweet expressions and Ginny was the only Weasley child to be properly smiling or as an individual in the group. George had stuck his wand into Ron's ear, making the boy visibly shiver and try to shove it away while the photo had been taken. And last but not least, Fred had wrapped his arms around Sophia's shoulders and leaned his head against her's, pulling her back so that his chest was pressed against her back.

"Oh how lovely," Molly looked over the picture at everyone's happy faces, until she came to George and Ron's. "Ron, your eyes are shut for most of it!"

"Bloody hell Ron," George rolled his eyes and Ron swatted at him angrily.

It was the best Christmas that the Lupins' had ever had. It made them forget about all of the involvement with You Know Who and let them spend a holiday together among such a beautiful family. And everyone was sure that Hazel, James and Lily were looking over the photograph in Molly's hands with beaming expressions.
