"Sorry to interrupt your deep thinking session," the man chuckled slightly. "I was hoping to see Sophia with you if I'm brutally honest."

"O-Oh um about her-" Fred went to speak but was cut off by the sound of Dumbledore's voice booming through the air once again.

"Miss Fleur Delacour shall be forfeiting the last task of tournament," he said and the crowd of Beauxbatons burst out into tears as their last hope of winning the Tri-Wizard cup was gone. Fleur had several harsh gashes on her whole body and had glazed look in her eyes, looking somewhat different from when she first entered the maze. She was comforted by her fellow students, disappearing amongst the crowd of blue uniforms.

"Oh most unfortunate," Remus exclaimed. "The French never really were that great at tournaments."

Fred gulped as Remus turned to him again with a friendly smile, urging him to finish what he had begun to say before being interrupted by Professor Dumbledore. He did one last glance around in hopes that Sophia will appear and save him from this confrontation, and turned back to Remus with no such luck.

"S-She... She's missing," Fred mustered. The lined face of the man dropped considerably, looking confused as well as suspicious at the redheaded boy.

"What do you mean she's missing?" he questioned, the slightest bit of patronisation in his tone.

"W-Well um..." Fred scratched the back of his neck and wished that Remus had gone to Hermione first to ask about his Daughter instead of him. "No one's seen her since last night."

"Where was she last seen? Why isn't Dumbledore starting a search party for her?" Remus immediately burst into a state of questions and worried looks, appearing much older than what he was a few moments ago. "Where is my daughter Fred?"

Before Fred could utter a hasty response, a loud pop echoed throughout the stands and cheers suddenly erupted once again. Fred and Remus turned their heads to see the back of Harry's figure hunched over something with the Tri-Wizard cup next to him, only he was visibly distressed. People started to rush down from the stands to surround Harry who was now deemed the winner of the Tri-Wizard tournament (Fred and Remus hadn't realised that Viktor Krum had also forfeited the task), only then to notice the thing he was hunched over was a body. Both Fred and Remus followed the crowd and the cheers stopped once they had seen that Harry was crying over Cedric Diggory's body. A scream came from Fleur Delacour as everyone realised that Cedric Diggory was dead, with Harry screaming the words,

"He's back! Voldemorts' back!" Professor Dumbledore got to his knees in front of Harry to face him head on. "Cedric asked me to bring his body back! I couldn't leave him, not there!"

His words had set everyone on edge and Dumbledore held Harry's face as he cried helplessly over Cedric's body. A voice suddenly was heard from the middle of the crowd, and a path was made for the small man that rushed forward screaming,

"Let me through! Let me through!"

Amos Diggory fell to his knees next to Harry, now weeping excessively over the boy's body. Cho Chang's own cries were heard from the crowd also, but nothing could overpower Amos's.

"That's my son!" he cried. "That's my boy!"

The multiple weeps and cries from people who knew and loved Cedric Diggory filled the air, the boy laying with his eyes staring lifelessly into the sky. Harry clutched with all his might on to Cedric's body with Professor Moody attempting to pull him from the scene. His cries of defiance broke through some of the sounds of despair, but Moody pulled him up anyway and held him up with his one arm. The Professor then began to pull him away from the scene and down a long looking corridor out of the stadium, going unnoticed only for a moment by everyone standing around Cedric's body.

Pulling Harry into his office, Professor Moody settled the boy down in a chair and started to rummage furiously through his various bottles of potions that sat on tables and shelves. Harry continued to weep in his seat, listening to Moody ask him frantic questions.

"What was it like? Being in the presence of the Dark Lord?" the man demanded. "Were there others? In the graveyard boy! Who was there?!"

"I-I... I don't remember saying anything about a graveyard sir," Harry stammered and looked wearingly up at Professor Moody. The man's face changed into something sinister, staring back at Harry with a form of disgust and a sneer.

"Magnificent creatures, aren't they?" he imitated for a moment, reminding Harry of the exact words Hagrid had said to him while showing him the Dragons' that would be in the first task. "Do you really think he would have shown you the Dragons' if I hadn't shown him? Do you think Neville Longbottom would have suggested Gillyweed if I hadn't given him the book of Herbology in the first place?! Hey?! Constant Vigilance!"

The man had let his tongue lick the top of his lip for a moment to appear like a snake, triggering a memory of Harry's of Barty Crouch's son who was sent to Azkaban years ago. The man then pulled out his wand as Harry looked up at him, finally working out what Moody had done in relation to the tournament that has been forced upon him in the past year.

"You put my name in. In the goblet..." Harry said weakly. "You turned the cup into a Portkey..."

"I did," the man nodded before motioning his wand over to a table nearby where a familiar looking scroll sat lonesome. "I also took that from that friend of yours'. Interesting one she is, the Dark Lord is definitely interested in her. And how happy he will be to hear that the famous Harry Potter; will be no more."

When Professor Moody was just about to utter the killing curse at Harry, the door to his office flew open and the man's body was flown back into a chair nearby. Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape and Professor McGonagall entered the room hastily with their wands in front of them, rushing to stand in front of Mad-Eye Moody. Dumbledore grabbed a hold of the man's trench coat and ordered Snape to pour a potion filled with a clear liquid into Moody's mouth.

"Who am I?!" the Headmaster demanded.

"Albus... Dumbledore," Moody forcefully choked out with some of the potion leaking down his chin. Harry watched in horror as Dumbledore continued to interrogate the man who was just about to kill him, McGonagall taking her place next to him for protection and reassurance as his head of house.

"Are you Alastor Moody?" Dumbledore demanded once more.

"No," the imposter uttered out reluctantly.

"Is he in this room?" the man got no answer for a moment. "Is he in this room?!"

The eyes of the imposter moved to the large chest that was placed in the corner of the room which made Professor Snape stand in front of it immediately. He fired a spell from his wand and the chest opened, only to reveal several smaller chests' that opened one after another. Eventually, the smallest chest opened and an opening was seen making the adults in the room lean over to look inside.

"Albus! I'm so sorry Albus..." a weak voice echoed from the bottom of the unsuspecting large chest. "He gave her some sort of sleeping draught... I-I can't... ugh."

Sitting at the bottom of the chest was the real Alastor Moody, looking weak and covering his left eye where his magical one would usually sit. The stump of his leg sat helplessly next to him as he sat in dirty white rags while glancing up at the entrance of the chest and down to the girl who lay motionless next to him. Sophia lay on the floor with her hair sprayed out next to her and her cheek scratched up badly, eyes shut and her lips parted slightly to breath clearer. The Professors' hadn't expected to see one of their students at the bottom of the chest as well as the real Alastor Moody, shocking them into another state of panic.

"Don't worry Alastor," Albus Dumbledore called down. "We'll get you both out of there."

The sound of harsh grunts and yelps came from where the imposter sat, making the attention return to the man whose skin seemed to be bubbling and melting. Harry sat in shock as Mad-Eye's face began to hollow and form into someone else's, his screams of pain and agony filling the tense office. After a painful transformation, Barty Crouch Jr. was now sitting in over-sized clothes with the magical eye of Mad-Eye Moody's now discarded on the floor next to him. After one failed attempt to push through the Professors' standing in front of him, he sat in the seat with sweat covering his skin and his returning characteristic of licking his top lip frequently at quick speed.

"I'll show you mine if you show me your's," the new voice spoke as he pulled up the sleeve of his trench coat to show the Dark Mark tattoo that was inked on his skin.

"Harry, your arm," Dumbledore demanded as he grabbed Harry and pulled up his sleeve to show the ghastly looking cut that was on his wrist.

"So it's true then," Barty Crouch Jr. wore a sickening smile. "The Dark Lord has returned".

"Minerva, alert the Dementors. I'll think they'll find we have one of their prisoners," Dumbledore said to Professor McGonagall, making the woman rush to the exit of the office.

"I'll be welcomed back like a hero!" the man cried out after the woman. Dumbledore grabbed hold of Harry and lead him out of the office, leaving Professor Snape to forcibly press his wand into the Death Eater's cheek threateningly.

"Sir... sir please," Harry attempted to say as Dumbledore had hold of his arm. Pulling him down a corridor, Harry tried to keep up while trying to speak about something important. "He said something. Crouch said something before about Sophia."

Dumbledore stopped in his frantic pursuit and turned to Harry, looking down at him through his half-moon spectacles. The name of another student had surprised the old man and urged Harry to continue with a look that told him this.

"He said that... he said that Voldemort is interested in her," Harry stated through a shaky voice. "I'm not sure why or how, but I think he's told Voldemort about her..."

Dumbledore said nothing as he then grabbed hold of Harry's arm once more, leading him on his pursuit again towards the hospital wing. Once there, the Headmaster handed Harry off to Madam Pomfrey before walking away without another word. Harry watched as the old man disappeared around a corridor in yet another hurried pursuit, leaving him in a state of concern and curiosity at Dumbledore's and Voldemort's interest in the supposed normal Sophia Lupin.
