All the Hogwarts students sat in the Great Hall, buzzing with excitement as Professor Dumbledore stood at his podium.

"Please welcome the students of the Beauxbatons Academy and their Headmistress Madam Maxine!" he announced and the doors of the Great Hall suddenly opened, and a sea of light blue uniforms made their way in perfect lines down the aisle of the tables. Jaws dropped to the floor as beautiful looking girls and boys made their way to the Ravenclaw table that had been extended for them to sit at.

"Bloody hell!" Ron exclaimed as they gracefully swept past the Gryffindor. Sophia spotted some of the people she knew while at the Academy, but none of them were part of her close friend group. The way they delicately walked and sat down at their table had reminded her so much of how they used to be taught to always be graceful and polite. Hogwarts must have seemed like a right scruff hut compared to the students of Beauxbatons. Most of them weren't as accepting and cultured as Sophia was, seeing as a lot of the girls of the schools looked around the hall in disgust. But Sophia was used to scruff, as was her father for that fact.

"Blimey, that's one big woman," Seamus spoke out and gestured towards Madam Maxine who was walking behind her students down the aisle. She was large, larger than Hagrid for some comparison. The slim woman made her way to the teacher's table and Professor Dumbledore greeted her with his polite manners.

"Is that how you used to dress and walk?" Fred whispered into Sophia's ear.

"If you mean I used to have to walk in lines all the time and dress like Peter Pan, then yes," Sophia answered and laughed when Fred pulled an expression of confusion.

"Who's Peter Pan?" he asked clueless. Sophia shook her head in amusement and left Fred to ponder about who Peter Pan was. What she didn't know, was that Fred was having the time of his life picturing Sophia in one of those silk-fitted uniforms. Especially at how they would curve around her-

"And please join me in welcoming the students of Durmstrang school and their Headmaster Igor Karkaroff!" Professor Dumbledore announced and the doors banged open again. A herd of gruff looking boys entered the hall in brown uniforms, their fierce demeanours being a strong contrast to the elegant students that had just been in their place of the aisle. Hogwarts students jumped in their seats from the sight of the intimidating males stomping into the room, and made their way to the end of the Slytherin table that had been extended for them.

"It's him!" Ron squeaked. "Viktor Krum!"

Indeed, the Bulgarian Seeker was walking next to a creepy looking man that must of been their Headmaster. It didn't take long for whispers to begin from everyone as the best Seeker in the world had entered the Hall and sat down with the other boys that belonged to his school. Ron was beside himself and couldn't stop staring at the skin-head Durmstrang student who wasn't talking to anyone around him. Igor Karkaroff made his way to the teacher's table and sat down next to Professor Snape, keeping a permanent scowl on his face.

"Welcome visitors! I am Professor Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!" he introduced himself.

After the speech from Dumbledore about the Tri-Wizard tournament, the great feast appeared once more on all tables and everyone immediately indulged. Sophia was eating her soup quietly while conversations continued around her, listening to Fred, George and Lee's mostly.

"I'm going for it!" Fred announced. "Eternal glory sounds quite nice if I'm honest."

"You're underage, you heard Crouch," Sophia shot back but it didn't dampen Fred's mood.

"You think that'll stop me? You up for it Georgie?" Fred turned to his twin who was mirroring his expression.

" 'course I am!" the twin answered and the two began to devise a plan in order to enter their names in the Goblet of Fire. The goblet would choose one student from each school to compete in what Dumbledore described as 'three very dangerous tasks'. If you were to win the tournament, you receive a prize of one thousand galleons and of course, 'eternal glory'. Sophia didn't fancy it at all (even though she couldn't enter anyway, as the age was clearly stated by Barty Crouch to be seventeen), even if the prize of one thousand galleons would be a blessing for her father. But she knew he would never want her competing in this, no matter how great the prize was.

Students started to file out of the hall once they had filled their stomachs to the brim with the feast. Fred and George had talked non-stop about ways to try and get their names into the Goblet of Fire, discussing potions and spells that could age them enough to trick the magic object. Lee was encouraging them whole-heartedly, but Sophia just sat quietly next to Fred in doubt. There was no way that they'd be able to actually succeed with this. But she didn't want to dampen their mood further, as the twins looked excited to ignore Professor Dumbledore's warnings.

"Have you been getting anymore looks from Professor Moody?" Harry appeared next to Sophia as she was making her way out of the hall behind Fred, George and Lee.

"Yeah, but thank Merlin he hasn't tried to talk to me again," she answered. "What about you?"

"He hasn't said a word to me yet," Harry confessed. "But he's still-"

"Excuse me?"

Harry and Sophia turned around to find a tall boy dressed in the Durmstrang uniform standing there. The boy's eyes looked over Harry once, but settled on Sophia for a majority of the time. She felt uncomfortable under yet another stare, but tried to mask it behind a look of curiosity at why a Durmstrang had stopped the two in their journey back to the common room. Sophia noticed that he had a slim face with black hair and even a slight beard growing over his jaw and cheeks. He had a Middle-Eastern look to him, and his accent was laced with something foreign.

"Forgive my English please, but I wanted to ask for your name?" the boy said to Sophia, a charming smile slipping on to his face.

"Oh erm..." Sophia awkwardly replied. "Sophia".

"Ah a pretty name for a pretty face," the boy said and Harry had to hold back a scoff/laugh when Sophia grimaced. "I'm Valentin. I hope to see you again Sophie."

The boy turned and walked away before she could even utter the correction of her name. Harry finally let out a laugh as Sophia turned to him, swatting at his arm with flushed cheeks. How embarrassed she was to have some Durmstrang student come straight up to her and get her name wrong when he said it suited her 'pretty' face. The sly look of Valentin set her on edge, and she hoped that she wouldn't cross him again while at Hogwarts.

"Sophie huh?" Harry repeatedly teased again as the two turned back to continue back to the common room.

"Stop it Harry," Sophia pushed the boy next to her as he laughed more. "How embarrassing..."

"Hey at least it wasn't Moody who called you pretty. That would be much more concerning," Harry reasoned.

The next day, Sophia found herself sitting next to Hermione on a bench in the Great Hall that housed the Goblet of Fire. The candles and torches that were once lit had been extinguished in order to make the blue flame of the cup to be the only source of light. Students from all three schools were scattered around the hall, eyeing the misty ring that circled the goblet. This was an age line that had been drawn by Professor Dumbledore to stop people like Fred and George from trying to put their names in the fire.

Hermione was reading from one of her many books while Sophia sat next to her, reading over a parchment that fell near to the floor. It was Hermione's essay that had been set by Professor Snape, and she was having trouble understanding parts of the assignment. Although Hermione was reluctant to let other people see her work, she knew Sophia wouldn't try to copy or plagiarise her work.

"Oh here comes Dumb Krum," Sophia whispered as she looked up from the parchment.

"That's rude," Hermione replied but looked up none the less, to see Viktor Krum cross the age line and put his name in the goblet. An eerie silence had ran through the place, seeing as the popular Durmstrang had entered the hall with his Headmaster Igor Karkaroff. When he went to turn back to head towards the exit of the hall, he turned his head slightly to catch eyes with Hermione. A small smile played on his lips before turning away and disappearing from sight.

"What was that?" Sophia mused as she caught the little exchange. Hermione looked to her friend and shook her head with a forced straight face.

"Nothing at all. An awkward sweep of the eyes," she said before burying her face back into her book. Sophia saw the small patch of redness that was on Hermione's cheeks, but decided to leave it as she would never admit anything that involved being embarrassed or in a state of something she couldn't explain with logic.

"We've done it!"

All too familiar voices entered the hall and lightened the silent and eerie atmosphere at once. Sophia and Hermione turned their heads to see Fred and George jogging into the Great Hall while holding up small vials of something in their hands. Applause and hoots of encouragement came from Hogwarts students as the two twins stood up on one of the benches to catch even more attention in their time of triumph.

"Cooked it up this morning!" Fred cheered. Sophia was looking over her shoulder at the twins who were having the time of their lives in the centre of attention. She rolled her eyes and turned back to the parchment in her hands, only to be disrupted once more.

"It's not going to work," Hermione mused loudly with a smug look. The hall quietened and Fred suddenly appeared right over Sophia's shoulder, very close to her face as he stared at Hermione with a knowing look. George appeared over Hermione's shoulder and stared between his brother and the said 'know-it-all' girl next to him.

"And why is that Granger?" George inquired.

"You see this?" she motioned to the misty line that enclosed the goblet. "This is an age line. Dumbledore drew it himself!"

"So?" Fred pushed. He brought his arm up and rested his elbow on Sophia's shoulder, tempting her to push it off to unbalance him in his time of supposed success. But seeing as he was clearly going to humiliate himself, she left him there.

"So!" Hermione began, getting slightly irritated. "A genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by something as pathetically dim-witted as an aging potion!"

"But that's what makes it so brilliant-" George shot back.

"-Because it's so pathetically dim-witted!" Fred finished. The twin brothers went to stand up simultaneously, but not before Fred gleefully pressed his lips to the side of Sophia's head. He was so pumped by excitement and adrenaline that he must have forgotten where he was, but felt proud of himself when some whistles and 'aww's from the girls echoed through the hall. Sophia barely had anytime to register what just happened, before Fred and George jumped into the circle of mist and put their names in the goblet.

For a moment, it seemed that their potion had worked. But the blue flame suddenly flared widely and blew the boys across the hall with a gust of wind and flame. Sophia jumped up from her spot as Fred and George slammed against the floor, groaning from the harsh collision. Other students rushed forward and circled the two, Sophia making sure she was at the front to see if they were okay. The two lifted their heads, and the hall burst into fits of laughter. Sophia felt a wide grin growing on her face when she saw that the twins had spurted long grey beards and ever-growing grey hair. Their aging potion obviously hadn't worked, yet they had got what they wanted in a way. They definitely looked older.

"I did warn you," Professor Dumbledore suddenly appeared at the entrance of the Great Hall with a soft smile on his face. Students turned to look at the old man as the twins sat up from the floor with grumbling expressions. "I do hope you can make use of these new features Mr Weasley to make your elderly impression of me a bit more accurate. Off to the hospital wing you two."

Sophia knew that Dumbledore was hinting towards the time last year where he thought that Fred was impersonating him in order to cheer her up about her father's transformation. She did her best to stop herself from laughing as she helped Fred to his feet, and led him and George (who was being supported by Angelina Johnson) to the hospital wing.

"Come along Grandpa Fred," Sophia sweetly said as she held his 'frail' arm.

"Shut it you," Fred grumbled. "I was sure it would work!"

"You're sure about a lot of things Freddie," she retorted, guiding the old man through the corridors. People were turning their heads and laughing at the state of the twins, already knowing what had happened to them before even being told. "Doesn't mean that you're right though."
