"Your arm Sophia!" Hermione's voice pulled the girl out of the daze that she was suddenly. She was still staring at the place where her father had run off to, her breath still short in her throat. Hermione grabbed hold of the girl's shoulders to shake her back into reality, as Professor Snape began to levitate Ron's weak form back towards the castle.
"We need to alert Professor Dumbledore immediately," he said frantically, rushing back towards the school where lights could be seen emitting from the windows of the building.
"Come on, we have to go Sophia," Hermione reminded as she started to guide the paralysed girl along with Snape and Ron. Sophia barely started to walk as she kept glancing over her shoulder towards the woods that Remus had disappeared into, feeling deflated and even worried for her father's state.
"H-He didn't recognise me..." Sophia whispered to herself, but Hermione heard and looked sympathetically to the still crying friend of hers. "He was going to kill me... he was going to kill all of us..."
"I know Sophia...," Hermione replied as the four soon crossed under the arch way that lead to the Entrance Hall of Hogwarts. "But we have to get you and Ron to the Hospital Wing. You're both bleeding for Merlin's sake!"
As Hermione guided Sophia through the school, the hallways were basically deserted. Students were already in their common rooms as it was past midnight, except for two laughing redheads who had decided tonight was the night to set off dungbombs in Argus Filch's office. The two were running through the abandoned corridors away from the caretaker that could be heard yelling and coughing from nearby.
"Nice one Georgie," Fred laughed as the two began to descend into a brisk walk back towards the Gryffindor common room.
"Thanks very much Freddie," George replied, still bursting with excitement from their latest prank.
The twins turned a corner that should have been empty, but the two immediately spotted Hermione quickly rushing a bleeding and dazed Sophia through the corridor. Fred and George immediately halted in their pursuit and were stunned to see the trail of blood that was being left behind the two, and see that one of the girl's was dangerously swaying in her step with a pale complexion.

"What the hell happened?!" George was the first to speak as Fred stood there with his jaw dropped nearly to the floor. The sight of seeing the girl he had been spending most of the year with threatening to fall to the ground had stunned him beyond measure, and it was only when Hermione started to struggle to keep Sophia up right that he leaped forward.
"She's in shock! She needs to see Madam Pomfrey in the hospital wing!" Hermione panted as Sophia's legs gave way. The girl's eyes were beginning to become heavy lidded and Hermione slowly tried to lower her to the tiled ground without dropping her too harshly. Fred and George got on their knees and saw that Sophia was beginning to lose consciousness completely, making the situation even more serious.
"I'll carry her," Fred piped up for the first time and slipped one of his arms under Sophia's knees, while the other hooked round her back. The boy easily lifted the girl into his arms and was horrified to feel her head fall limply against his shoulder, now completely unconscious. He stood to his full height and speedily started making his way towards the hospital wing with Hermione leading the way and George bringing up the rear.
"I'll go find her dad,"George went to turn down a different corridor when Hermione called out to him.
"No! He won't be there!" she said as she glanced worriedly over her shoulder at the girl who was limply held in Fred's arms. His sweater was now covered in her blood, but the boy didn't seem to let it bother him as his attention was solely in getting Sophia to the hospital wing. "Snape's already getting Professor Dumbledore! Let's just get Sophia to Madam Pomfrey!"
"Snape's involved?! Did he do this to her?!" Fred questioned in disbelief. They had finally reached the hall that had the hospital wing at the end of it, and when Hermione didn't answer out of panic, Fred was ready to run after the Potions master who he thought had done this to Sophia.
When they entered through the large archway of the hospital wing, Ron was already laying in a bed at the end of the room with Madam Pomfrey and Professor McGonagall tending to him. Only dressed in their dressing gowns, the call for Ron's head of house and the school's nurse released a state of panic in both women. It didn't help that Professor Snape brought him in to the room, before quickly leaving to find Professor Dumbledore with the words along the lines of 'Sirius Black has been sighted and Remus Lupin was a Werewolf who attacked his own students'.

Fred immediately lay Sophia down on a bed nearby and Hermione called out for Professor McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey. The two women turned their heads at the unexpected entrance of the twins and the two girls, before hastily rushing over to the bed where the unconscious girl lay. George made the effort to pull his brother back away from the bed, so that the women could tend to the girl who was beginning to stain the white sheets with the blood from her arm.
"Where's Harry?" Ron called out from his bed, to which Hermione decided to rush over and inform him of the events that he may have missed while he was blinded with the pain from his leg injury. Fred and George stood in fear and worry as Madam Pomfrey looked alarmed at the severity of Sophia's wound.
"This is a Werewolf's scratch!" the nurse cried as she began to pull out a variety of bandages and potions from a trolley that was nearby. "This could be difficult to tend to."
"What? A wolf did this to her?" Fred questioned in confusion.
"Oh yes, unmistakably," Madam Pomfrey said with her nod of her head. "Nothing will heal it completely, but I can stop the bleeding."
The nurse pulled out an ointment and covered a few cotton balls with it, instructing Professor McGonagall to start cleaning the wound with a towel she handed her. Fred and George stood there for a while, watching the blood be wiped away from Sophia's arm before Madam Pomfrey applied the green-looking ointment to the gash. It wasn't long before they were able to wrap up her arm in thick bandages with the ointment covering a portion of the material and say that she should wake up in the morning.
Fred felt the stress and nerves finally leave his system as Professor McGonagall began to demand for Hermione to tell her what happened to Ron and Sophia. The twins sat down together on a bed that was next to Sophia's and listened intently to the story Hermione recapped from the night. They were astonished to hear of Professor Lupin being a Werewolf and unknowingly tried to kill the people present at the time. She mentioned something about Sirius Black, which caused the Head of Gryffindor to head for the exit of the hospital wing and find Professor Dumbledore to tell him of the news.
Fred soon let his face fall into his hands, as he sat with his elbows leaning on his knees. The feeling that he had when he first saw Sophia fainting to the floor had taken a lot out of him, and the adrenaline that he felt when rushing her to where she was now was long gone. Hermione stated that she was going to go to the common room to change and get some sleep, seeing as Ron and Sophia were now safe under the nurse's supervision. George said he was going to do the same and left Fred sitting on the bed for the time being. Ron had fallen asleep in his own bed, leaving his brother to his thoughts as the sun was beginning to rise from its depths of the night outside.
"No wonder you were so worried about your dad..." Fred said into the air, looking over at Sophia who lay looking much more peaceful than when she first fell unconscious. He shuffled himself round on the bed to face the girl who he had grown to adore in the past year, feeling a small smile grow on his face when he remembered his Grandpa imitation he did to cheer Sophia up earlier on in the year.
