You smiled taking in Regulus' face in the moonlight. The two of you had sneaked into what you called "your spot". It was a huge hollow tree surrounded by rocks comfortable enough to sit on. Regulus had been going on and on about his argument with Heran, the divination professor who always managed to get on his nerves. He never got into trouble, but with them— it was always a different story.
"— and then they go, 'Mr. Black of course there are limitless possibilities when you use a time turner, but the future is still fixed and can be predicted' and I just wanted to go back in time and punch is fucking face and then see whether I would still get the same detention he assumed."
Stifling your laughter was proving to be more difficult by the minute you wondered how much time it would take Regulus to notice your current predicament. You couldn't even hide it, he looked even more charming like that somehow— hair falling apart, eyes bright and face quickly changing expressions. It was a wonder people never saw what you did. Maybe because he never let anyone in enough, see every bit of him— each piece more beautiful than the previous.
He was still going on, you flustered in your seat not knowing how much time you spent staring at him. Putting on an annoyed expression, you nodded along. You knew Regulus would see right through it but he was too engrossed onto his vent to do so.
When he finally took a breath and looked at you, you couldn't help how your lips turned upwards. A twig fell on his face and you reached out to remove it. Regulus hand cupped your face and you felt his lips on yours. After a moment of surprise, you moved them in what you hoped was the same fervor. He pulled back with a giddy look on his face, licking his lips.

"I just— you—"
You waited patiently, an amused expression on your features. Regulus wasn't always spontaneous. Watching him come up with an 'explanation' for the kiss was funny.
"You looked beautiful," he hushed at last. You grinned, placing a kiss at the corner of his mouth.
"So did you," you whispered in his ear, reveling in the fluster he tried hard to hide.

Pillars Between Us
It started with the dent left by the Forest Sprite; A small crack in the ice that encased his memories. Curtis knew that something was off, realizing that he wasn’t who he thought he was and— perhaps Ellis wasn’t the one meant for him. --It's a fantasy novel set in a world where people inhabit on pillars-- (think of m*necaft sky block, you'll get what I mean) -- then give it a hint of action, mystery and (twisted) romance-- and it's influenced by Japanese fantasy light novels (cuz I read a lot of em'). But I'm sure it's a weird one cuz the style of writing isn't the Japanese to English translated kind of style but rather the orthodox English novel kind of writing (which includes a bunch of errors and broken English thanks to me!). In any case, if you're up for it, just beware the story starts out pretty slow.. I mean-- back then, I was still inexperienced ok! I'm gettin' better along the way, Hmmph!

Jack of All Trades, Master of All
Jack was reincarnated, again. This time, the omnipotent sphere had finally revealed to him that this new world was, in fact, the real one, and his soul had just returned to his body after two years of coma. During that span, the Earth or the magical world No.146, where he was The Grand Sage, was just a simulation experience. Jack inherited the System of Knowledge from his former self in the previous world. But gradually, he realized there were other Returners, holding other powerful Systems that they themself were also granted. The reason? The Omnipotent Sphere refused to give an answer. With the ever-burning desire to find his former friends and companions at World No.146 after their souls too were returned to this world, Jack began his journey. Ahead of him, five hundred years old as he technically was, there might be some surprises he still wasn’t prepared for. This is an original translated work. I’ve always wanted to challenge my writing skill and post on Royalroad a few times, but, as it turned out, I realized my own English capability still limited me. Therefore, I am currently working with a team of three, hence the name Triopals, consisting of me, the author, a translator, and an investor who really put his faith in this project. My translator and I will work together to deliver four chapters each week. Depending on the translating, editing, re-reading, checking, and re-reading-again process, the chapters will be uploaded each day or all at once. Careful as we may be, there can still be some errors at our best, so we welcome grammatical corrections, etc. We are very appreciative of your support.

The Burning City
At the end of book one of Jake Kerr's rollicking Guildmaster Thief series, Ralan Miller was looking over a calm city that had withstood a traitorous power struggle by his brother Larsen, the Guildmaster Merchant. In this astonishing second book in the series, Larsen pushes subtlety aside and provokes all-out civil war as he assaults the members of the Harvest Guild. Featuring a rich tapestry of intrigue, politics, secrets, colorful characters, and a complex world where seemingly no one can be trusted, this second book of the Guildmaster Thief series further reveals the compelling secret history of the city state of Ness and its cutthroat guilds.
