Slowly but steady you were approaching the dragon, you hadn't tamed it yet. You were earning its trust. The dragon studied you and every move you made. As you approached it you reached out your hand, almost touching the dragons head. The dragon didn't move, it didn't fly away or try to scorch you. That meant you could touch it, your hand petting and stroking the dragons head.
Bill watched from the forest with a team of dragon experts. They had not believed you when you said dragons could be tamed without spells and magic. They thought you were crazy when you approached it the way you did. But there you were, petting the dragon without sedating it. The dragon almost seemed to enjoy it. After a little while the dragon rolled onto its back, almost like a dog asking for a belly rub. Everyone on the team looked in awe, Bill especially. He didn't know if he was in awe about the way you tamed the dragon or if its because you are the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Either way, he couldn't wait to talk to you.
When you were done you walked back to the team. Everyone was excited and complimenting you. One man in particular caught your eye. You walked over to him. "You did a marvellous job miss Y/L/N". You smiled "please call me Y/N". He nodded "Well then Y/N, I'm Bill." You shook his hand, feeling butterflies the moment his hand touched yours. After this brief encounter you were pulled away from Bill to talk to other members of the team. Every chance you got you looked at Bill. You couldn't help yourself. Every so often the two of you would make eye contact, smiling each time it happend. Was this the start of something more than just a new workplace for you?

After your first day at work you were getting ready to go home when you felt a hand on your shoulder.
"Y/N, I was wondering if you have any plans for the evening?" You turned around and turning bright red when you noticed how close Bill was standing. He noticed too and gave you a small smile. "No I don't have any plans." You were happy the sentence came out right since you were bloody nervous standing this close to Bill. "Great, would you like to join me for dinner tonight?" You nodded "Yes I would love that." Bill's smile grew. Bill held out his hand and you were happy to take it.
That night was the first night you and Bill left work together, but it certainly wouldn't be the last.
